H. S.Brixton has been unfairly labelled in the past but visited today and what a lovely diverse vibrant place. Really enjoyed walking around soaking up the irie culture and seeing it's population. The worry for these areas is that they are historically important in regards to how the British Afro Caribbean community adapted and assimilated but seem to be going through the London gentrification process
C. R.This was an amazing experience of culture and shopping. Very different from Piccadilly Square, Leicester or even Trafalgar square. Its like one huge flea market and hustle. Will not liked by everyone, but an interesting experience nonetheless. Wear jeans and t-shirt and let your hair down for this one.

T.A market where you can find a great selection of world foods. It's a vibe!
Lots of great restaurants with foods from around the world. A steady, energetic night life that caters to most appetite's. It's become quite gentrified in recent years, which isn't so much about regeneration. It's more so about pushing out those people that have lived in the community for decades. Simply because they cannot afford the sky-high rents. They leave and the ambiance and culture dies.

It's right by both Brixton Rail and Underground stations, super easy access. Always great to go on a Friday or Saturday but to be honest doesn't particully matter. Notice on the busier evenings you have music playing and sometimes people playing records, which is nice.
If your going out for nightlife to some of the key venues within the area, this is a great place to start!
Solid A***** for its mix of choice. Love it!

S. B.There are a lot of food places compared to units selling a variety of other products such as world foods, fresh fish and house hold goods. Nice relaxed atmosphere during the week but not the interesting hustle and bustle there was before.
