Reviews of Duc Tien Cash and Carry

We've been here numerous of times for one thing or another and have yet to had any problems with the product or service.
They cater to mainly oriental foods but have a few English items on sale here, if you're familiar with other oriental stores, you'll pretty much know what's they offer.
Best way to get here is via car but if you're taking public transport, Charlton is your best bet, which uses Thameslink/southeastern. For buses Anchor & Hope Lane (Stop G), buses 472/486 or Woolwich Road Victoria Way, buses 161, 177, 180 and N1.
Recommended.

Parking.
Loads of space so that is great.
Shop: it is not a pretty store and in the winter it can be very cold! It is more of a warehouse.
Range: there is a fairly decent range of items. You should be able to find the majority of items. Some items are cheaper than many well known super markets. There a good selection of exotic fruit.
Covid 19 friendly. I didn't see any place offering hand sanitizers. If it was there, I didnt see it. That means you can't clean the trolleys. There is a lot of space and it is quiet so it was possible to keep a safe distance.
Queuing time: last time it was slow but it depends on the customer. Last time we went, it was fairly quick.
Location. It can be tricky to find the entrance! It is off a roundabout on a residential street.

This place is a cheaper Asian store than many others I've been to, which is brilliant. However, there have been numeral occasions where expired items were still on the shelf which I have accidentally purchased.

Clean, tidy, has lots of products but overly expensive in some area of produces. A fairer pricing given you can find the same product for quite a bit cheaper elsewhere.

Great selection and variety of Oriental/ Asian products.
Such as, frozen food including seafood like oysters and clams, dumplings, buns, noodles, snacks, tea, spices, beans, powders, sauces, rice, cookware, a fresh meats section, vegetables, pastry, etc.

Lots of choice and more stock than see woo. Prices are a little bit higher but I prefer to go with a place that has more stock and choice than not.

well stocked and tidy and nice looking, especially compared to 2 other Asian supermarkets nearby.

Staff are really friendly and willing to help. It has a good mix of food selection, Korean, Vietnamese, Japanese, and Chinese. Well lit and easy to navigate. The only downside, compared to Seewoo, is the variety of food. It lacks good selection of fruits which is important too me. However I'd rather head to Duc Tien on basis of helpfulness and the staff.
