Y. C.This is the best place to buy frozen dumplings - Get the Hongs Brand in 1kg,costs about £8-£10. Taste great and has more filling than other brands.
Other things that are hard to find elsewhere includes the liu sha bao (super extra version with dark bun and striking gold brush stroke) and Hainan Chicken Rice paste (super yummy easy chicken dinner winner).
Another plus is that you can get fresh, live sea food here.

All in all a fantastic selection of Korean, Chinese, Japanese and Thai food and drinks.

I didn't know about this before today. Bought Oyster sauce. Lots of choice in this shop. Downside is there is no one available to help you if you need to know anything about what's on sale. No English speaking staff. At least a few words of greeting would be nice!

G. L.A decent place to buy Chinese/Vietnamese/Malaysian/Japanese noodles, snacks and sauces (and other groceries). Much better regional product selection compared to major supermarkets at good prices.
Some people at the register may not speak perfect English but the service is adequate.
Not sure why people would leave a 1-star review about not being served food in time -- this is not a restaurant.
A. V.Great fresh produce as well as processed foods from south East Asia. A really wide variety of products to choose from, from frozen buns, to jasmine rice, to Asian drinks and sweets. Plenty of different sauces (bean sauce, oyster sauce, etc). Good prices. Nice, large shop. Admits credit card.
S.Nice little store with the essentials for chinese cooking and snacks. Personally i found whatever im looking for in there and suffice. However, if you are missing items and unable to locate them in this store, there are always some in Chinatown.

B. O.A decent Oriental supermarket. I managed to buy the pancakes for crispy duck I needed. If you need lobster or crabs (both live) it's a good place to go.
B. B.Fantastic place I've been there many times now. They have a wide variety of rice and noodles. They also have sauces ranging from soy sauce to oyster sauce to Korean Gochujang. Their fresh produce section is reasonably well stocked and they have the large size of Cheonga Kimchi which is hard to find in the Korean food stores on Tottenham court rode. The only down side is the don't have fresh meat so things like pork belly come frozen.

If you're thinking of going to Ocean supermarket on Caledonian road, don't. Come here instead, cheaper, and doesn't reek of mice like ocean

M. M.I get too excited every time I visit them. They are the only oriental supermarket in the area who stocks natto beans. Sometimes they have fried tofu which I believe is quite rare in London.
B.Good selection of pan Asian food supplies including Thai and Chinese. There is also a fresh food section aswell as fresh fish (they are so fresh they are still alive in tanks).
T. T.Minimum card payment is £5 and the selection is quite poor for the size of the store (it also looks like it’s straight from the 80s). Would not recommend using unless there are no alternatives.
