Reviews of Jubilee Market
M. A. (. ا.
Great place to visit on Sunday, free shows like music, magic, acrobat and others. Nice shops and cheap place to by souvenirs you can find nice key chain 6 for £ 5 . Plenty of cafes and restaurants
b. f.
Beautiful decorations lots of stalls with a variety of trinkets. We bought some handmade jewellery from a little stall in this market which has lasted really well so far hasn't discoloured. Also some London themed gifts for friends at home there are lots of these at this market. Also lots of food and drinks available.
C. E.
You can buy everything you need at this place at very reasonable prices. This market is built very systematically. The prices are very reasonable.
D. T.
I m impressed by the diversity of items I could find there. Would clearly recommend a visit on a Saturday or Sunday where apart of shopping we have multiple art works with the respective artist selling directly with distinct prices for any pocket. Worts the visit with at least 2 hours, to enjoy the art works in the market and drinks or lunch. To note there is always some music live going on so enjoyable while drinking or having breakfast.

Jubilee Market in Covent Garden is a must see when you are visiting London. There is a wide variety of arts and crafts that are sure to appeal to most who visit. And if you love London then there are so many products there to remind you of your visit to this beautiful part of the world. A visit that you won't regret.
A. S.
Omg Covent garden 😍 I visit every week for the relaxing atmosphere. quite often Musicians play on the lower floor which can be heard all over Covent garden.
A. m. A. (.
Lovely place ! Some good prices and some good products and very friendly people you'll see around
A.
Incredible place to visit this time if year, the hustle and bustle of Christmas is purely magical
C. C.
I loved looking around and there's something for everyone. The sellers enjoy talking to the customers and are proud and excited about their products.
S. R.
Must visit for a beautiful market in london and for their Christmas decorations and hourly flurries everyday
D. C.
Lovely market with lots of budget bargains in clothing
S. C.
Lots of t-shirt and hat stalls. Interesting to look around but I didn't find anything to buy. There was a stall with some ladies clothes and some scarves but the top I liked was too high up and unpriced as far as I could see. Unsure if the pricing is dynamic 😬🙄 according to the buyer. The toffee nose sweet shop had some fun items but again the interesting items I liked for a gift - such as a musical tin with sweets etc were unpriced. All in all worth a look around ..
K. M.
Good mix of traditional stalls. The foreign stall holders are very pushy and try shout you to their stalls. This meant we only went to other stalls for purchases. Their behaviour spoils Covent garden
M. D.
Many changes over the years but still a major venue for visitors to London in search of that little something different. Not so many hand made offerings now but still jewellery and glassware. Quite a few 'antiques' and collectibles these days. Many old cameras on show.
The upstairs dining outlets are all currently shut. Used to be good for looking down on the crowds.
P. W.
A good old honest market... Some super creative and different stuff, like the super talented lady who paints cavas shoes ... But also the usual dross of cheap tat ... But all in all a good spot just on covent garden....
K. W.
Absolutely love thiscplace especially at christmas with its beautiful lights and festive feel , maybe a bit sparse on the ground for last couple of years but it has certainly not dampened the spitits ofvthe market stall holders , they go all out to lift the spirits of all that pay a visit
A. D.
I went on a Tuesday morning for the collectors market. Lots of interesting stalls for collectors of militaria and the unusual.
Warning to the tourists to keep a hold of your valables as pick pockets like the crowded places.
m. s.
Great little market lots of beautiful handmade items all under cover street performers to keep adults and kids entertained highly recommend a visit
A. D.
I love the lively and colorful ambience. .checkout the stall which sells prints and wall hangings.. quirky and nice
R.
Very cool market but surprised by the lack of local artist. There is more Chinese stuff then locally made. My wife likes hand made ornaments and commercial produced was more common. This goes for everything else also
j. d.
Great little market in Covent Garden, full of character, lots of little craft stalls and the usual Market paraphernalia.
H. F.
Gifts and decorations. Wonderful artists and nice people all round.
Definitely stop off for Christmas things if you're passing.
陈.
To be honest, it's just too busy, and all I can see is people! Nowhere to sit and relax, I can only follow the people flow. Will be better if there are some options of street food.
C.
Visited Tuesday. Some lovely stalls but in the main attractive for tourists. However, there were quite a few empty stalls. Asked one stall holder why, she said alot of stalls not come back after covid lockdown and of course still quiet due to tourism being down.
C. M.
Lovely little indoor market. Take cash though as not all the stall holders have card machines!
T. P.
What a fabulous little market
J. B.
Lovely part of London and buzzing delightful jubilee Market so must to do plenty of eating and drinking places
m.
Locate right next to Apple Market in Covent Gardens. Jubilee Market probably can be forgiven for being thought of as the ugly sister. Jubilee Market is more focused on arts and crafts with lots of little stall with some very imaginative items. Many of the stalls sell unique items, some rare an unusual.
My favourite stalls are the ones selling insects in displays and the comic art of comic art in topical or contemporary contexts.
S. D.
I like Jubilee Market, it has interesting odd stuff for curious people. I recommend to visit to his place weekdays, as there plenty to see and it's not crowded.
D. B.
Covid has obviously affected this market. Not as many stalls as in previous years but still good for souvenirs.
D. B.
The T Shirt stalls and belt buckle/pin badge stalls are excellent yet quite a few traders charge far too much and that prevents me from giving a 5 star review. The sweet shop, for instance, their prices are way too high even for London prices.
S. P.
Lots of dessert stalls, some live little trinkets can be picked up, quite small overall, good atmosphere
W. S.
A very niche market with many stalls and lots to see ranging from jewelleries, scarfs, photos, souvenir etc. There are street performers and can be noisey as this place attracts tourists. Hungry? No problem you will be spoilt for choices so many restaurants to choose from.
V. S.
We went there late. But it was still busy and very interesting. Nice place to look at. But take a lot of money with you. Isn't cheap 🙂
A. C.
So much to see all in one place. This is a fun to visit.
K. C.
It was absolutely stunning with all the Christmas decorations all around. I would definitely recommend this place any time of year
W. A.
Went here for the first time.
Quirky market, great stalls and all the people working at the stalls were lovely.
Definitely worth a visit.
H. T.
Fabulous market lots of quirky gifts to be had. All stall holders are so friendly and happy to oblige their customers
D. S.
Really enjoyed our visit
D. I.
Great prices for souvenirs. Lot's of handcrafted items. Awesome place to shop.
E. W.
Yes I love Covent garden always have done its changed alot since my younger days I even worked their but the neal street part of Covent garden, that was about 14 years ago. Anyway this little part of covent garden is great I like the stalls that sell various items and it's for me better than oxford street, it has the lot Covent I meant theres dining entertainment alot going on and theres even a few pubs there too. So overall if you like a bit of old fashionedness as well as modern then covent garden is a great place to visit.👍🏿
A. V.
One of the hidden gems around the city and the best way to spend time visiting local artisan shops and street food. It gets pretty crowded during the evening but some amazing cafes and restaurants around this area.
R. B.
Great place to enjoy Great food and even better music.
F. J. A. R.
This place is very good to buy staff like souvenir and different items like bags jacket t-shirt and old staff too high recommended
J. H.
I love this place. My first time & the staff are so friendly & amazingly helpful. Ten out of ten 😊
G. L.
Lots of lovely local stalls and friendly Market sellers. Just a little bit squashed and overwhelming avoid if you don't like crowds.
S.
I got tons of stuff here on the cheap! £10 for a full size, high quality backpack, definitely worth a visit!
Y. M.
I loved this market. A wonderful eclectic mix of stuff for all tastes
B. U.
This was one of the first stops in Covent Garden. The market was really packed and hard to get a pram around so we didn't stray too far inside. There were a few souvenir shops as well as a snack place which were interesting.
K. S.
Not so many stalls there at mo. Cafe was very friendly as normal. Went to get Xmas prezzie came home with nothing. Going back hopefully in December.
C. C.
Nice place, lots of stalled and Street entertainers. Good singer while we were there.
C. S.
A great little market of Artisan designers and hand crafts. Well worth a visit if you like Bespoke little items and artwork.
k. f.
Great little indoor Market just off covent garden with lots of stalls selling anything from little nik naks, to clothes, souvenirs etc
J. M.
Love it here. Definitely worth a visit. There is something for everyone and some unusual gifts too.
G. S.
Been to Covent Gardens many times but never managed to go into this indoor market. Great place and atmosphere, with lots of stalls and cafes inside. The theme for the weekend was arts and crafts and there is lots of interesting items - with hand made pens, pictures, candles and jewellery. Lots of authentic souvenirs too. We did a walking tour around Jubilee market and showing the many stalls and cafes in and around the place. Search on YouTube for Geek Street Travels and follow us on Instagram, Twitter and Facebook for more walking tours around London.
L. W.
Some very nice quirky original items on sale at very good quality and reasonable prices
K. M.
Wonderful selection of vintage stalls every Monday, not too crowded and fairly cool in this heatwave!
G. H.
Very interesting different and unique stores. Mega busy but it was Saturday afternoon.
L. B.
Jubilee market is a revelation at busy covent garden, a quiet place that you can browse the many craft stalls and maybe find a collectable gem to take home, the market is off to one side of the main building and not signposted so you stumble across it as you wander through the main building, there were a few generic stalls but on the whole it was full of true craft stalls,I could see that many of the stalls had handmade items made by the People who ran the stall, as a place to visit if you are at covent garden for an afternoon out it is well worth seeking it out.
P. B.
Great little market to visit when in Covent Gardens
j. v.
A nice market to visit.it has a lot of things that you can buy.some of the items are a bit pricey.but the variety of the products at this market is quite nice and is definetely worth a visit.there is a wide variety of clothes and handcrafted items and there are also some food stalls.you can spend some time walking through this market and you might end up buying somenthing.
H. S.
As usual a bubbling atmosphere. I just love markets
A. “. J.
Jubilee Market is very much a touristic spot, but that's what makes it so nice. Great spot to walk around in London, close to Soho.
N. S.
It's always fun to explore this market, situated at the prime location and always offer a lot of option to shop from. The only issue is price of those items, items seem to be very over priced there..taking undue of advanatage of innocent travelers who visit those areas.
P. C.
Always fun to wander around.
R. R.
Lovely place to visit , some nice items , lots of places to eat and drink close by .
J. G.
One of our favourite places to shop at when in London. Definitely worth a visit!
K. C.
Fantastic, lots of artisan gifts for yourself or presents , great place to feel good
D. F.
Great place. Indoor craft markets. Great atmosphere. Talented buskers. Wonderful shops.
J. S.
Great atmosphere, lots of stalls but very busy ( it is Christmas 🎄).
H. C.
Great market, great selection of goods. Had an emergency..hubby needed a leather belt, found just the stall called Village Leathers, fabulous service, problem solved.
L. P.
Love this traditional London Market in the heart of Covent Garden, lovely if youre looking for a gift
L. L.
Very quiet lots of empty stalls
D. M.
Nice little market. Some fixed stalls around the sides but the rest change day by day. Some nice items at good prices.
T. B.
Christmas lights and decorations were lovely
Fake snow was fabulous
B. B.
Nice to walk round, but geared up for the tourist Market & prices reflect this. Better shopping around this area.
O.
Shopkeepers are nice, but they haggle, so watch out
K. G.
Great place to buy things not seen on the High Street.
B. R.
Quaint market lovely little items to buy. Near Coventry garden to enhance your shopping experience
M. l.
Need a lot of time in here so much to look through.. Tables a little to close together for me.. But it is a market
S. K.
Market nice shops and fun for the family to food stall, as well,🍟🧁🥤🍟💯
d. t.
Such individual and fantastic things available. Lovely place to visit.
P. S.
A rather small market in Covent Garden, very busy, and fairly overpriced.
M. A.
This buzzing part of London should be on everyone's to do list, great little craft stalls and the street enternainers and cafes around Covent Garden make for an enjoyable day out or stop-off on your theatre day.
D. C.
I am never impressed by this market. It's nice to go to as a tourist.
S. B.
Great market, plenty to see and plenty to eat. You have all the surrounding areas such as borough market next door and just across the road you can goto the local London Bridge tube station or maybe visit tower bridge of which is a 10 minute walk away. There is also the shard with is close to the market so there are plenty of things to do in this area.
T. T.
Nice market. Some traders are happy to give a little discount if you ask!
m. m.
V festive and great place to buy winter scarves and other seasonal items.
H. J.
Love jubilee market with local trades mixing with souveniers. Atmosphere is welcoming and the people very friendly.
L. N.
Fantastic range of stalls, perfect for present shopping for others or for spoiling yourself!

g. g.
Fantastic place.
e. c.
Love a good look round and a mooch with the wonderful sounds of an opera singer
L. P.
Jubilee market is one of the coolest ones in Central London. I personally love the Monday market, when you can find all the vintage goods, and maybe get a bargain!
The other days, is mostly a tourist's place, with gifts and other items.
Z. p.
Loved all the different diversity things going on.
D. C.

j. M.
Very good. Everyone friendly and helpful. Bought several things.
M. B. L.
Magic Box is now trading here from Tuesday to Friday every week. Come and see some amazing tricks you can learn in moments!
f. d.
Situated right next to the Covent garden market, this place is more of a clothes and trinkets area. There is also a small stall inside with two table seating which serves snack food like burgers, fries, sandwiches etc.
Y. H.
Not as many stalls as I remember but a good selection.
P. D.
Jubilee Market is an old-school market with everything you can imagine, from vintage clothes to old cameras. It'right next to Covent Garden.
J. W.
Great atmosphere, probably because of its proximity to illustrious neighbours. The food on offer was top notch. Although a rather trendy and tourist filled attraction, it has managed to maintain its authenticity
S. J. C.
Markets are good if you know what you want? Everything is over priced?
G. “. J.
Arts and flea market stuffs
S. D.
Super Wonderful. Soo much variety and soo many places to eat .
S. C.
The record stall and the lovely man who ran the stall were a particular highlight!
N. C.
This market should be on your list if you’re a tourist visiting London for the first time.
T. H.
Never changes. Love it and the l8ve singers. Great to take family
K. F.
Not much going on when we were there a couple of weeks ago. There was however, a stall selling kaleidoscopes made from brass. There were different sizes, some you could fit in your pocket and were reasonably priced for London
O. D.
It very busy, but with loads of shops and late night shopping . A street market and lots of street performances.
J. S.
A lot of amazing things to buy when you come here on Saturday Sunday's as you get handmade articles.
One of a kind stuff can be brought from here
j. b.
Since 1987, this weathered and withered bastion of traditional tourist tat, mementos and what-have-we-here’s.
And STILL selling Jimi Hendrix T-shirts.
A cramped and colourful showcase for a medley of mostly “made in China” products.
A modern-day Punch+Judy distraction, where the public dynamic is the reliable constant.
Here the crowd is the show, the rest... folderol. obladi-oblada.
M. R.
Pretty cool tat market with lots of ticky tacky disposable landfill.
C. C.
Lovely place to meander -.Great leather store
M. &. S.
Love coming to this market, you always find something new and interesting
D. W.
Nice little market, just off Covent Garden, with lots to choose from
J. C.

The Mackerel was pretty good, especially after a day on the water and friendly service.
R. F.

K. A.
Interesting! Good prices, bit cheaper than the rest of Covent Garden.
J. C.
Great Market, but a bit small and very very busy
S. R.

G. B.
Its Covent garden.... gotta love it. As a tourist
D. S.
It’s a busy and lovely market.quite expensive but you find lots of antique items and interesting items. Very lovely . They don’t sell food items inside there but lots of options as you just step out.
K. B.
Very busy as always but thoroughly enjoyable
C. K.
Great bric-a-brac and collectables at reasonable prices
d. r.
It's great to just watch the performances of the street theater that has been here for years. Shops are interesting but the market is really worth seeing
I. K.
Well worth visiting. Wide variety of products found in the shops.
I. W.
Not quite back to its pre Covid busy-ness, but with a sufficient number of stalls selling oddities to keep you amused for about half an hour as you pass through Covent Garden.
W. B.
Majestic historical & current venue for people like me who loves education about places & who's always curious on things.
S. S.
Nice retro place ..very friendly market stall holders...if you are looking for something quirky...this is your place
P. W.
Very interesting, lots of little craft stalls.
h. l.
I went to Covent Garden to specifically buy at "The Ordinary" but ended up stopping at Jubilee Market and then we saw "Darium!!"
The seller was sooooo nice and the products are all so good. The candles are made of soy, which is not harmful for the earth and the himalayan salt are the bomb!!!! They have good effects on you and they smell nice as well. 👍👍👍👍
D. L.
Great place with lots of stalls with local proprietors. We'll worth a visit.
M. O. S.
Lively spot for a bit of Christmas shopping
p. o.

l. M.
Brilliant
D. 1.
Great market with original and different stalls
A. M.
Lovely market with quality bespoke goods.
R. B.
It's a funny sort of a market particularly on a Monday when it opens early...full of curious objects...jewellery..clocks..watches..bric a brac...a place for dealers and collectors and some bargains...it's different when the tourists arrive...and just wobble about shopping
G. C.
A small market with art & crafts pieces in the south side of Covent Garden piazza. Nice one for a quick walk while in Covent Garden.
L. P.
Great atmosphere and amazing food options
G. B.
I like this place, interesting stalls mixed in with typical touristy or phone case ones.
P. J.
Good to see some parts of the West End not sold out to expensive brands.
P. S.
Very christmassy and had a great ambience.
c. s.
Always a treat to visit Convent Garden and wander about. Plenty of activity..cafes..market stalls..entertainment
T. N.
We stumbled across and checked out Tony's fossil stall. Fascinating character full of information and stories - not all just about fossils or gemstones! Fair prices and decent samples.
E. A.
A very niche market with many stalls and lots to see ranging from jewelleries, scarfs, photos, souvenir etc. There are street performers and can be noisey as this place attracts tourists. Hungry? No problem you will be spoilt for choices so many restaurants to choose from.
T. H.
Wonderful antique market with silver jewellery from £10
M. P.
It was a little tacky and really is a market for London tourists .
C. B.
Would recommend. Great place to find some wonderful antiques.

M. J.
One of the most fun and entertaining places to visit while in London
D. H.
Mish mash of stalls and the husserl and Brussels of shoppers great way to spend Sundays
S. C.
Bought some lovely leather gloves.
J. R.
There are lots of really nice stalls here with some handmade items. The only downside I found was there wasn't much space between stalls so those that need space for wheelchairs or buggies may struggle to get past people at busy times.
M. H. G.
Amazing hand crafted candles for sale ... beautiful and freidnly stall holders
P. H.
One word! Beautiful theatre and show!
A. D.
Loads to choose presents from. Good atmosphere. A real buzz with crowds of people.
A. K.
lovely traders great products
J. H.
A must visit, full of life & things to browse
a. R.
A very interesting place. Lots of things to see, anything you want to buy you can find there. It's great to walk, buy things and have some food. We can have snacks or a big meal. There places to sit and rest, and great things to buy, from hats, clothes, jewelry or things to your house.
J. R.
Great place to find any souvenirs in London
P. W.
Really nice place with lovely music and plenty of choice in restaurants.
P. B.
Just a market, not too big, wasn't much in there to be honest, worth a walk round,
T. K. H.
The Jubilee market is a market where you can find interesting things, but the majority of them feel cheap, both in terms of production quality (see t-shirt prints, for instance) and their motives (how many pop-culture references can you chuck into a thing).
On the other hand: there are *some* shops with stuff that *seems* to be handmade and actually more interesting. When it's viewed in the context of the unfortunate surroundings, however, it's hard to trust its quality.
For the most part I'd consider it a busy tourist trap. You can have a fun browse, but I wouldn't put any money in it.
C. H.
Small indoor market with London souvenirs and clothing
P.
Very nice market, hidden gem in the centre of London. Purchased an amazing scented candle by Darium London, with fantastic fragranced candles. Really worth visiting if you don't want to spend a fortune on candles and you need a gift for someone🙌🏻❤️
A. D.
Covent Gardens has a long history, the building tell their own story. The craft market on Saturday and Sunday has been hit by the lack of tourism and needs you all to visit for christmas shopping . Come and support the markets, drink, eat and listen to live music in one of London's cultural hot spots.
L. M. G. o. C. G.
Loved Covent garden. Typical old London with a modern touch!
J. A.
Great to see this fully open with so much atmosphere to enjoy.
W.
I got lost in the atmosphere of this place, just magical
S. H.
Covent Garden Market, very festive at present
H. P.
Nice looking around the market, some lovely stall in there.😀😀
T. B.
Great market. Has a wonderful game shop. Which had some nice chess sets and plenty of playing cards amongst other things
T. M.
Lovely little market. Some neat shops and stalls.
S. P. M.
Awesome collection of small antique shop
J. H.
A new experience nothing like it here in Worcester
C. G.
A vast array of stalls and shops
C. B.
Was a fruit n veg market now a tourist attraction mainly. Lots of nice nibbles. I was born a few hundred yards away and my family would not recognise it now, possibly the buildings but the use no
D. “. C.
Busy little place. Always something of intrest
K. C.
Really nice place to browse around. Mainly just your souvenirs and niknaks on the stalls, but clothes, jewellery and other bits and bobs were inside the hall too. Loved the atmosphere and how friendly everyone was. Can get a bit too cramped and busy. If you're in Covent garden, I would definitely take a look!
D. M.
First time I've been here. Its a really good second hand goods market with masses of different items for sale. It was really busy so found it difficult to spend time looking at things without being jostled. A good place for second hand jewellery.
R. C.
This is a wonderful place to go and shop or dine. They had a handicrafts fair where they had beautiful, fairly-priced, handmade items that are great for the home or for gifts, though I’m not sure if that’s open all the time. There were multiple places to sit and enjoy a bit to eat or dessert. On one side, street performers did magic tricks and other performances. It’s great for kids as well as people of all ages. Most of the shops don’t allow you to photograph their wares. Cars aren’t allowed inside, so it’s a great place to meander around on foot.

A market that can be found full of interesting and worthwhile things. There are a lot of souvenirs from England, a lot of hats and games, a kind of flea market. Locals warn of pickpockets in the area, right next to the Cuban Garden Market and are highly recommended to visit the place
J. D.
Good market, although can be a bit pricey. Go early as it can get very busy
D. H.
Wonderful buzzing place great singing
J. W.
This is Borough market, it cannot be bettered IMO. Does get extremely busy on a Friday or Saturday, but it's so welcoming it's not so bad of you are able to remain cool calm and collected!
Only down a star because sadly despite trying really hard, I struggled a lot to find fruit and veg from the UK, the days I was there most seemed shipped in. I've no issues with foreign food but would have hoped to have found food from the UK when I know it's seasonal here. Also super pricey; about double the price of M&S in some cases. I understand things cost to store..etc but a lot was so expensive it was off putting and when it's also not from the UK it's a bit disappointing.
Great atmosphere though, you should go for that reason alone! And for the coffee.
M. S.
Love Covent garden, full of life, happiness and joy.
Great place to sit, drink and watch people go by.
Lovely little market with different and quirky stores to look at. I've bought some lovely little buy.
A. K.
B. W.
Great place to get crates there
A. A.
The place I love to visit in Central London.
A. S.
So sad that Oxford street has closed down . But great to see how busy Brighton store was .
M. J.
I love this market as it is less pretentious than the main covent garden market and you can find some interesting little stalls. Some typical I love London store places but also some more eclectic items on offer such as Japanese sweets or precious stones. Just a small part of one of the best markets anywhere in the world.
C.
Very busy market, excellent for London mementos. If you want scarfs and interesting clothes a good place to visit. Not expensive and do a good bacon sandwich!
D. P.
Lovely place to visit with plenty of small stalls selling various souvenirs for London. Great places to eat whilst listening to classical music being played live. Toilets are available but be prepared to pay £1.00 for them.
J. W. (.
This market legit has everything. Strange the invention and products to your basic shirts with everything you can think of on them. Ofc it's all more or less tat that people flog but you can get some decent quality products also
L. A.
Have many attractions and activities.it is very accessible to wheelchair.
E.
Very much depends on which stallholders are here for the handcrafted items, we had a brilliant day of local crafts but unfortunately the second was the typical tourist targeted rubbish. Depends on the day but you can find some pretty unique items sold here, first day we had a retro games seller and Japanese geekwear seller with some enticing items!
T. R.
Nice place.to grab some bargains and British trinkets
M. S.
Very interesting selection of stalls
M. G.
Real feel of London with nice products. Bought a sleeping salt diffuser and a candle from @Darium London. Beautiful scent and the salt diffuser is fantastic! 100% natural made 😍👌 the best buy during my stay at London!!
M. P.
Love this place, lots of stalls to browse, easy access, plenty of places to get a drink and something to eat. The leather stall is really good, they're very helpful and good quality. Great for people watching
R. R.
I've been coming to London ever since I was 10, this is always a place to revisit. The jubilee market along with the famous covent garden are a wonderful place not only for shopping but also food and culture alike. It's a must visit for any first time traveler. I recommend visiting during the week because it can become quite busy. If you do plan to visit during the weekend I recommend walking from leicester square it's only a few minutes and you pass plenty of shops worth visiting along the way.
D. L. G.
I met the best Londoner inside this market. His name is Larry and He is selling teddy bears
S. P.
Lovely place to find quirky things. No cheap, but also good quality
R. D.
Bustling place. Lots of people for the switching on of the Christmas lights.
Lots of stalls selling tat side by side with overpriced brand shops and uninspiring restaurants.
Still, with the actors' church just across, worth a visit as there's a good atmosphere.
j. b.
Great and unique gifts 🎁
A. A.
Loved the market even though it was full of jewellery stores. I ended up with a silver ring. There was a beautiful stall with unique hanging pot/ bird feeder holder. Amazing
C. B.
If you are visiting Covent Garden don't forget to cross the road and visit here as well. The place is stuffed full of stalls selling all sorts of things including some very nice craft items. The place always seems full perhaps it's partly because the prices here are very reasonable. There are even little food stalls so visit during lunch and kill two birds with one stone!
A. A.
Full of weird and wonderfully home made items. Candles. Plant pot holders sign makers. Sculptors. Some of the work I saw was exquisite and the people there are very talented.
No negative that I could see.
The girl that paints the converse trainers was really good,
V. B.
An array of individual sellers. Wonderful.
R. B.
Very different to what I remember from 20 years ago
L. B.
Stalls within had some different as well as the usual gifts.
L. C.
So much to see. Well set out and plenty of room to walk around.
N. A. E.
This place has a mix of arts and crafts as well as more bog-standard market, there is a fair amount of tourist stuff here. You do have to be on your guard here - as the close confines are ideal for pickpockets.
J. B.
Many stalls with a great selection of items, jewellery, antiques, and handmade accesories are just the beginning of what Jubilee Market has to offer!
J. L.
Come here after your Transport Museum visit. Great wares being offered here and quite a good amount of staffs here are handmade. Support the locals, buy at the markets.
A. S.
Amazing, fun and always happy to be back.
F. H.
Covent Garden is lovely, but there's not much to say about this market if I'm honest...
Unless you're going to spend on handicrafts or tat there's not much use going here.
There is a good stand that is cheater than the food places in the flower/apple market though, so cheap eats!
M. C.
Lots of interesting and quirky stalls as well as shops
S. S.
Great variety of stalls, good value
B. D.
Great! Spacious, lot's of good local manufacturing to see, local artisans etc.
Cool! Away from bearing heat and quite refreshing. All around good fun! Good for the kids too.
T. D.
Brilliant market for odd gifts. On Mondays it's second hand market always worth a look. And drop into Pete's cafe for a n all day breakfast, good price and good food
D. k.
Lovely place for everyone who looking for a diamond
d. a.
Great place, lovely people; quality items; please visit, they need your custom and prices are reasonable too.
s. b.
This market blew my mind..! Its crammed full with many small stall holders selling beautiful crafted items and gifts, many things you would never find in any shops..! A must visit.!
J. L.
The market is a traditional outdoor/indoor market. There are touristy shops full of every UK branded item under the sun, both crappy and quality. The food stalls and restaurants are good.
It's worth a visit if you're in the area. The Shake Shack alone is worth going out of your way.
C. T.
Beautiful festive but manic
X. C.
Jubilee market was lovely, shame the service from the outdoor bar across was great, a perfect demonstration of only the location matters judging by the service there, but the market, aces, well worth a visit!
K. N.
Lovely market must see
L. C.
One of the most beautiful places in London
S. A.
Lots interesting and varied stalls here definitely worth a visit along side Covent Garden market. Very lively atmosphere with plenty cafes and street entertainers nearby. The Jubilee market is a bit less expensive than its Covent Garden neighbour
S. E.
Craft type market in the heart of Covent Garden
J. B.
Love this market, such a little gem, from the vast amount of antiques, to the friendly stall holders who take the time to explain some of the more curious items. Definately well worth a visit.
R. L.
Great way to to buy anything and eat anything with prices that vary from normal to stupid
A. P.
Always looks festive in December
A. H.
Toilets cost a pound but they are very clean.
Watched a man yodel and offer people his hat to see if they could throw it on his head.
Fun stuff
h. d.
Nice and a lot of shops
S. A.
The range of food & produce available is fantastic. Sight, smells & the joyous hubble-bubble of contented people are a sensory delight.
T. C.
Great little market. Really for tourists. It does close late afternoon so dont leave it too late to visit. Also need to watch you personal belongings because of pick pockets.
L. P.
Not a novelty in many years
d. j.
The best day to go are Mondays. You can pick up a good bargain in antiques and collectables.
S. R.
Lovely candles in beautiful cups sold by the dutchess of candles is a must to check out, would make a lovely present for anybody.
K. W.
Very busy but a good atmosphere
V. C.
Great place, fabulous range of British made goods.
C. P.
Great fun, lovely vendors
S. I.
You could do worse than devote a whole afternoon to browsing the craft stalls here, visit Cranks Bakery, Crabtree and Evelyn, snack in any of the open air eateries or have a full meal in any of the perimeter bars or restaurants. You can watch any of the street performers in the cobbled spaces weather permitting. The feeder pedestrian areas also attract some of the best mime artists you'll see in any capital city in Europe. Tips gratefully accepted.
P. L.
Loved walking around and all the people.
C. W.
Good old fashioned style of market.
M. C.
I love this market, just in front of the famous Covent garden market.
We been trading there with our Spanish products sweet and nougat.
Best management ever, lovely market to spend some hours.
If you're around Covent garden you can't miss it.
W. A.
Fantastic array of traders in particular the guy who deals in glass bottles. BAFFLED!! , just go and check him out. What he does is very interesting.
M. R.
A good browsing place for adults and kids.
C. O.
Really swish crafts and a fun environment. A proper London caff remains in the corner. A bit too much obvious London themed tourist stuff but is complementary to the main market next door.
V. D.
We love LAPARESSE STREET ART TO WEAR.
Lovely market & lovely traders. 💃💃😉😉
S. V.
Very nice market. Lots of different g stalls.
G. M.
The only market I know of where the traders actually own the market, the Jubilee Market is unique!
On Mondays it’s a thriving antiques market, arrive early to get the best deals.
Tuesday to Friday a busy and bustling General Market takes place with some fascinating and unusual products from all over the globe on sale.
Weekends a Crafts Market takes over. Dozens and dozens of stalls full to bursting with totally unique hand-made products. You will normally be buying your item from the person who made it - and if you would like one slightly different, just ask. Perhaps they will make you a bespoke piece!
t. w.
There is a restaurant in the covered market (Unit 20) that cooks and sells honest to goodness tasty food at prices that won't put a dent in your wallet.
The décor is simple and "greasy spoon" like (and I mean that as a compliment). This is no frills, flavoursome fare at prices that would shock most Londoners.
I had an all day breakfast with a big mug of coffee for £6. I wish I could award more stars.
B. P.
Very busy at times, lots of lovely stalls and shops but be careful not to look too interested if you wont buy it because the market stall owners are very enthusiastic about their products.
A. G.
Perfect market in the center of london
A. P.
If you are looking for a great night out then Covent Garden is the place to go.So many restaurants and bars to choose from and well priced.Take a short stroll down to Leicester Square, just as lively..
P. C.
The usual array of tat, curiosities and gems - and that's just the traders. It's been tough on them this year so buy a nick-nack if you go.
J. C. “. E.
Alongside Covent Garden the market is a home to artisan crafts and products.
Word of warning it is busy with a capital B.
The sheer range of handmade goods is astounding and if you are looking for something different for your home or as a gift then this is the place to visit
J. S.
Love collection of shops etc often with live music
S. P.
Excellent Christmas Decorations
S. J.
Good variety of stalls, leather goods, clothing , food etc.
C. B.
Lots of stalls with quality items. Lovely atmosphere. You can escape the busy streets of London and enjoy great food and drink at one of the cafe's .
N. M.
This is from a while ago. In the heart of Covent Garden. Following issues with A**** had a great time at Jubilee Market where helped to chose a bag. Will return to buy other things. Best service had had for a while. Small traders appreciate your custom. Recommend please support.
S. K.
Great place to visit has a huge variety of goods on offer at reasonable prices - on Mondays it is Antiques and Saturdays & Sundays Arts and Crafts stalls - some very unusual products available
T. S.
Beautiful indoors market but generally very crowded with too narrow corridors. Pay it a visit if you find yourself in Covent Garden but I wouldn't get out of my way to visit otherwise.
T. W.
Great Atmosphere, very enjoyable
R. P.
Always fun walking around jubilee marker so much to see. Good shops to go in. Street entertainment which i love. Also meat market and bens cookoes are totally the best. Can enjoy with family and friends each time. The only thing i dont like is pay £1 to use the toliet now that should be free
j. J.
Loved it......having a look around and buying trinkets. Highly recommend.
R. J. C.
One of most important street markets in London. Almost always is crowded so be aware and mind pickpockets. Most of stalls are with handmade stuff, cheaper that on Apple Market nearby. Also if you see generic souvenirs, most of then are cheap, made in China and total waste of money.
D. C.
Large market and shopping area, you can make a day just being here. Places to eat and drink, fun entertainers within the center and close to the tube.
A. Z.
Loads of stuff hand made and speciality. All done by people with real talent like a stall where handbags are made from men's suits or trousers and art work like you've never seen before.
A. A.
Love this place, lots of inexpensive stuff, kinda like a version of a swap meet, you can get lots of souvenirs, food and high end stores nearby.
K. K.
This was soooo neat! I wish I found it earlier. I had already bought my typlical souvenirs else where. Definitely shop here for more exotic souvenirs! Really great stuff, and you can haggle!
J. B.
Fun place 2 wonder .
T. J.
Always nice to go to the market.
Same stuff as elsewhere. But overpriced because of the location. Don't bother arguing about the price. To many customers for that.
Bring water on hot days.
N. B.
Some interesting stuff
M. M. F.
Got our fridge magnets and even accepted the dodgy Scottish fiver.
B. J.
I was actually impressed with this market, it's one of the few that actually has a bunch of craftsmen/women running independent stalls. Some really neat stuff in here and definitely not a bunch of Chinese plastic castings of Big Ben.
I. G.
Great craft and art at weekends, well worth a visit. Prices are reasonable too. Tues-friday its more of a general tourist market.
I. W.
Strolled round early one Sunday morning
S. S.
Well what can i say , its a beautiful pkace to be , any day , any time of the year , not only is there great food , theres funny performers , i know because i was pulled out infront of 300 people , anyway theres plenty to see at leicester sqaure for everyone , anyway why am i still writing guys , check it out fir yourselfs .
N. B.
Variety of different stalls, some unique and handcrafted items. Great little cafe Peter's cafe reasonable prices and decent food.
c.
Well worth a visit, whether you're a tourist or a resident. Wide variety of products and shops. Was a but crowed when I went but that was probably because it was a Saturday in December. You're guaranteed to get a rare find here!
P. F.
Wonderful place lots of little one off stalls and a wide variety of goods on sale not your typical London prices also backs onto Covent garden so a great day to be had here
Y. H.
Lots of lovely crafts to buy not expensive
N.
Fancy all these aprons.
P. H. P.
Who doesn't love the total Camden Lock experience? From the time you leave the tube station to the time you reach the lock itself (10 minute walk) you are caught up in the sheer vibrancy of the place. There is just so much to see, do and eat, it's almost overwhelming. Relax in the quayside Wetherspoons and catch up with my novel "Professor Harry Parker and the Tunnels of Argonaut Bay" by Steve Pick available on Amazon kindle. Speaking of novels, a novel way to get there is by canal boat from and to Little Venice, close by Paddington station. You can forget you are in the heart of the capital.
D. C.
A lively buzz in the early evening with buskers and live classical music.Plenty of places to eat & market stalls offering everything from high quality artisan crafts to the usual tourist tatt.
C. H.
Not generally impressed by covered markets selling trinkets, geegaws and tschotschkes to tourists. Place has s history and location. No Eliza Doolittle. No old lady singing to the pigeons. Them times wot' be gone.
J. J.
Has changed a lot, now full of cheap tat t shirts, and tourist trap junk, one or two little gems, but generally gone down hill recently...such a shame..😥 best at the weekend, but very busy... haggle..
g.
Lots of interesting stalls with niche products. I could spend hours browsing. I would say a Very good place for the tourist to visit.
p. -. (.
Super fun! Lots of small, artsy stalls and a great pizza place if your want some lunch.
F.
Nice and historical market full of antiquities. I bought 4 small Wedgwood vases and it was a real bargain. The market is a a few steps away from Trafalgar Square. A must for every tourist visiting London!
M. H.
Lots of fun. So many booths with great products. I picked up a few scarves, that are beautiful.
A. K.
It's a touristy type market; not a markety type market. It's tidy and in a lovely location. Any food near here is almost always overpriced; tourist trap.
J. M.
Gets quite busy during peak hours, but some very good food stands once you traverse the crowds.
K. A.
Met a really cool guy there wish him all the best with his art. Many cool stands there. Worth checking out.
D. M.
Busy, Happy Stall Holders
L. J.
Colourful market good quality items reasonably priced
D. L.
Improved coffee shops and all round excellent quality shopping environment to spend time and soak up Britishness, shop, taste teas, enjoy some music, and take a bit of time put in the hustle and bustle of the city.
D. 7.
I really like this place !
J. S.
Lost a lot of the atmosphere it used to have due to covid.. won't be returning while all restrictions in place
M. A.
Love the place when it's not crowded.
N. B.
The stalls are all individual, lots of things to but and not all costing the earth. The cafe in there does decent proper food, mugs of tea and hot dogs
D. F.
We went maybe at the wrong time hardley any stalls open not impressed to he honest we went we saw we left.
I. S.
I'm here every weekend almost.
W. “. O. M.
Great crafty Market by covert garden, well worth popping in for a browse around if you in the area, not expensive either considering it's in the city and I'd expect higher prices.
R. (.
As an outsider coming in the market for the first time it was great. Assortment of foods to try out. The weather wasn't a problem as most of the market is covered with overhang coverings.
E. D.
Lovely market - lots of interesting stalls, plenty of good food options and several good street performers around.
S. H.
Lovely day out. Was not busy.
G. H.
Great antique market
F. C.
Real tourist shopping - a lot more pricey than in the less touristy areas but definitely worth a trip - picked up some local art work which was great
v. g.
Beautiful place, great food.
d. p.
Cool spot! Here yo can buy nice and cheap souvenirs. There is a plenty of restourants, pubs, caffes and stores around the market. Very lively place.
A. C.
Not as many stalls as usual giving more space to look around
P. R.
Lively, traditional market across road from Covent Garden Market. Offers a range of stalls from clothing, jewellery to UK souvenirs at reasonable prices.
C. L. M.
Great market with a range of products
D. J.
It is a nice market with street performances going on. You will find interesting dining options there. Quite a happening place.
K. K.
Lovely atmosphere and characters
Sadly seems to be filled with lots of souvenir type stalls.
A little disappointing but hey you be got to get your t-shirts somewhere
B. A.
It a great place to look around
K. S. M.
Nice stall with independent traders
b. b.
Covent Garden is great place to visit. Plenty of stalls to shop and places to eat, but, can be expensive. Lots of theaters close by.
C. B.
Loved it. Found a Fortnite t-shirt for the grandson which they reduced the price on to accommodate his budget. Nice atmosphere.
S. H.
Lots of interesting tourist gifts. We bought a flat cap and a union Jack pin. Energy s little flat
C. S.
Love Covent Garden...there's always something going on...easy to reach via tube...traffic is crazy..plenty to eat and close to tons of theatres..
C. C.
All sorts of random tat can be bought here. If you're looking for strange souvenirs then this place is a decent option, but otherwise I wouldn't bother
L. F. (.
Lots of gifts at very convenient prices. Incredibly I got the same product cheaper than nect door..
L. H. W. (.
Hand made craft....I wish more local made product and survenier there. The area until convent garden no public toilet.
D. 1.
Was ok smaller than expected.
W. M.
Nice place to visit would be even better under normal circumstances.
c. A.
Love this place. A great place to wander and lots of brilliant and unique shops
c. w.
Hi find Lisa Helyer silver jewellery at Gallery 66. Beautiful handmade at great prices
D. S.
Great market that has quality antiques.
F. V.
It's really different compared to all the other times we've been, hopefully it's just because of Covid as it's usually lush here
R. K.
Lots of small shops selling home made items. The musical group performing live was amazing.
E. D.
Love this little market, great stalls and stall holders friendly but don't hassle you, when your looking at their goodies..
R. M.
Plenty of things to do and to buy, also hand made items like wooden watches and plenty of British flags and other orniments you may want around the house.
J. H.
Eclectic mix if stalls, still quite a few people there despite the rain!
D. V.
Liked it! Especially seller Philip, he sold me a hat! Very friendly person with great hats!
C. H.
Good selection of craft stalls
M. R.
Too much jewellery .
M. N.
A very intriguing place to visit. It is full of locals selling a great diversity of products - from souvenirs to vintage items to taxidermy animals. It is worth a visit.
A. E.
Unique items to be found
J. S.
Lots of gifts in Covent Garden surrounded by restaurants to eat.
C. C.
Really cool place. Lots of Independent traders. However they're all much of a muchness. Good for the experience though.
R. S.
Love it. Certainly gets you in the Christmas mood.
