Very busy West End Italian, we were short on time before a show and they were able to accommodate. Bruschetta was nothing to write home about but the House special pasta was superb. Would return.

Went there last Saturday with my boyfriend. We had no booking and they were kind enough to find us a table within 10 min despite of the place being quite full and the fact that Giuseppe was working alone. Food was amazing (real taste of Italy, I lived there for 1 year and it felt like I was there again) and service was fantastic. Will definitely be returning. Tks for a great evening!

Fresh home made pasta, which is absolutely delicious. There is a good vibe, and the place has something that reminds me of a tuscanian trattoria. The owner is an absolute delight as well as the waiter. Good choice and quality of wine as well. I love it, and totally recommend it.

I love this little gem of a place, I go there every time I go out in soho, great prices, amazing portions, all pasta is made fresh right in front of you as well (during certain times) I always make a rose for the waitress out of paper every time I go, the staff are very friendly and I have never had a bad experience, taken many dates there as well, I can’t get enough of the place, the decor is cute it has a family feel to the place, the lighting is romantic, thank you pastaia for your existence =)

I had an amazing experience tonight in this little gem in the heart of soho.... Sara the manager of the place recomended us the dishes. I had pasta with salmon and my collegue carbonara. Pasta is freshly made and good size portions! Highly recomended ... we will definitely coming back soon .

A really nice place where you can find the real Italian food. The location is clean and well located, the atmosphere is amazing. The staff as well is helpful and kind, especially the guy called Giuseppe. Tonight I spent my dinner at La Pastaia, the restaurant wasn't busy for the weather condition, I think, and me and my friend from Rome, we were eating our food meanwhile we were talking with the staff, like if you are at home. 100% recommended. Good honest food but pricey. Very small portions. They make proper Italian food but just like in Italy, pasta is more like a starter than a main course. I ordered some ravioli and was still hungry when I left.

Very nice authentic Italian food, cosy atmosphere, non-pretentious and fairly priced. The waitress was very nice and attended us excellently. Very impressed as she was alone vs. ~15 customers. I have eaten carbonara and amatriciana and I *really enjoyed* them. The service was very fast and excellent. The restaurant itself is a little jewel...I went alone but I think it is an amazing place for a romantic dinner too! The price/quality is incredibly high also considering the restaurant is in Soho. Amazing pasta. All the main dishes were really fantastic, we debated for hours about which one was our favourite. Really nice atmosphere, chilled and relaxed but still upmarket. Service was good but wasn't as flawless as the food unfortunately.

The place was cosy and clean and the food was great! The only problem we had was with the service. Although the staff were friendly and welcoming, they were forgetful. We asked three members of staff, on three separate occasions, for the coffee with our deserts. Eventually, and as we were about to leave, it arrived. Another customer stormed out because she had been waiting for her coffee for more than an hour and refused to pay for the food she had eaten. There were three people waiting on the diners; they needed to have at least one more person on, and some kind of table-allocation system to make sure that customers' orders were not forgotten.

Nothing special honestly. Food was ok but not unforgettable. I had the 13.95 menu which it seemed to me quite a deal for a starter, a main course and a dessert. Portions was quite small, caprese's mozzarella was standard mozzarella and parmigiana wasn't bad, just...small. We ask for bread (how can you serve a parmigiana with no bread...seriously) and they upcharge us for a basket of bread 3 £!! After I ordered a coffe (2£) so in the end plus the service charge we spent over 40£ (we were in two, we both got the 13.95 menu). Now, with 2 glasses of wine we could easily spend 50£...unreasonable for the quality and the quantity of the food we had. Plus the old waiter was very bossy with the young Italian lady which was working there, she was fine and nice and her was the only smile we received. Well done young lady! The place wasn't bad but it lacks a bit of atmosphere.

It was a late night on a Sunday and they were the only place open but it was good - a delicious charcoal grilled steak with a glass of red wine. The staff were very solicitous and friendly . There was a cheesy smell - maybe a need for some ventilation; more a recommendation than criticism.

This restaurant was recommended to me by a friend so I went to try it out. Nice cosy restaurant with friendly staff. I had the fresh pasta with salmon and cream sauce and finished off with a main course of veal fillets with lemon sauce which was delicious and then the tiramisu which was absolutely yummy. The restaurant was very busy- but that’s not a bad thing ! Definately coming back again.

Food was great, had penne alla Arrabbiata and I loved it. Prices were average. Waiter wasn't into talking, but that's okay. The place is nice but a bit small. Also it's open until late which is good.
