S. D.Great Bargains to be had. Popular with locals and a good atmosphere and interesting characters with a tale to tell.
J. L.Nice to have a small car boot in London, but giving 3* as a buyer who was told on the phone that the cost was £11 but actually it turned out to be £16 per car. What bothered me was the way the organisers went about charging which was very cheeky - they did not ask payment at the start, but waited till towards the end when it's too late to make changes to the setup - that's when the finer T&Cs were relayed. The cost apparently depends on how far your stall reaches in front of and to the sides of the car. This doesn't make sense as the cars are all crammed so close at the start and you're not given the option of extra space anyway! Very disappointed to be asked so late in the day for an extra £5, more annoyed that they appear to do it to many people. There are other car boots (Potters bar for example) that give more space (without the cheeky T&Cs) and cost less where I made the same amount of money.

B. U.Small market that we had a walk through on Sunday morning since we had a bit of time. Interesting to walk around to see the items but be aware most items are probably second hand.
R.Probably one of the best markets in London. Non touristic, friendly people from the area. Saturday is more of a market while Sunday is a real car boot sale where you can find almost everything, clothes, furniture, electric appliances, or some antiques. Really good prices, real bargains sometimes. If it is raining don't even try as there are no stalls there, but in a sunny day there are a lot of stalls.
l.I love this place. 😺 So much random stuff, all for re-sale and re-use, and available in a friendly open atmosphere. This is sustainability on a practical everyday level.
