Been shopping there since it opened (2011, I think) Unlike many reviews here, I have found the staff to be always helpful and they ask if you need help if you look in any way confused. They do sell a lot of good and interesting products , and there are always new things. They also do jump of fads like the "gluten free" fad, which is silly as gluten intolerance affects a tiny % of the population. But they need to sell and milk money from the dumb, so I don't blame the shop. I have no complaints about the shop, but outside is a very annoying Big Issue seller who stares at you and bellows "Good Morning" in a fake voice and lifts up his wad of magazines. Kind of pushy, so sometimes I have just crossed the road and not shopped there.

I love this store. They offer organic, local produce, allow BYO bags, have a delicious prepared food sections and lots of vegan-friendly products as well as environmentally friendly home goods (cleaners, shampoos, etc). They are very responsive to customer feedback as well and are clearly dedicated to minimizing their environmental impact with continual improvements to their practices and products. 2018 UPDATE: They have added a bulk foods section in partnership with Unpack'd and allow you to fill your own bags / containers with dry foods, nuts, etc to avoid plastic packaging and overbuying.

Great selection of organic products, not best prices but food quality and decent loyalty program. Posting low stars as so many people in the store, including help and security staff, roam around and do not wear masks -despite signs and fact they make customers wear them! We’re in a pandemic and beyond being a double standard it just feels like poor form for a premium supermarket...

Never had an issue with this store. Always great experience there. ❤️ People need to seriously chill out about the social distancing and mask wearing. Stop watching BBC news and TV altogether for the love of God. If this thing was so deadly you wouldn't be out there shopping in the first place to buy fancy kombucha and quinoa. Take a step back and put things in perspective for a moment. Either stay at home or stop projecting your fears and brainwashed beliefs on the rest of us.

Wonderful place. Very nice high quality , varied choice products, friendly atmosphere and good take away food as well. Majority products are organic, and they have promotions, as well as a rewards card which accumulates points, and that’s great for regular customers like me who can then exchange Points for products.

A lot of choice under one roof. Not cheap. It,s not a trolley shop. But there is a range that is simply unavailable elsewhere. Treat yourself to a health break! The staff in every one of their stores are exceptional and more than happy to answer questions. Friendly service.

Good, but limited and expensive range of products. Some staff are very rude. Social distancing and covid guidelines are not observed/enforced. Every time I am there a good number of people seem to be roaming around the shop with no masks on. I asked them about this, they said it isn’t up to us, it is up to the police to come in and fine people if they are not wearing masks.

Lots of produce and stock. Customer service is 50:50. The people stocking shelves are friendly but the people at the cashier desk I have found not to be. Also I have been watched numerous times going through the aisles. You may not look the part but does not mean you don't have money etc. Maybe people cannot functional fully due to a disability but it may not have correlation with their financial status?

Great store full of organic and healthy food. By reason of my lactose intolerance and specific diet I visit it very often.You will find high quality products at reasonable prices. The friendly and knowledgeable staff helped me to choose the perfect coconut milk powder for my breakfast shake. Exceptional service.

Excellent food. I love shopping here because of the good prices for quality food. Organic food costs more than "regular" food, but you are doing your bit for the environment (due to sustainable farming) as well as your body. There is always a short line and it's a pleasure to shop here.

Having moved to Angel I was delighted to find an organic food place which could fill the rather large Whole Foods shaped hole in my life. This is no Whole Foods. Planet Organic can seem slightly overpriced however, the variety on offer (hot food, cold food, salads, pastas, fresh food, and copious amounts of juices and drinks) and the quality on offer more than make up for this. It's a nice little place. The fresh juices and drinks are great for when you're in need of a mid week pick me up. Whatever you do stay away from the 'green energy juice'- which promises a lot but tastes horrid.

I've only been there once and it was really easy to find what I wanted. At fist I must say I felt a bit out of place because there was no one that looked like me in there, they all looked like they were middle class people also. Though I thought this, the customer service was good, I didn't feel feel like I got any less service than anyone else. To summarize I felt pretty much welcome.

Well stocked with everything organic as you'd expect - and much that you wouldn't but then again it is called Planet. I enjoy the sour-dough and fruit loaves more regularly than wide range of vegetables. Wine is a tad pricey. For perfection - sort of feel it could be as green as it is organic.

As it was located just next to my former office, this became a regular haunt in spite of some shortcomings- namely, the lack of an area for eating the lunch box you can purchase inside, The supermarket has a very good selection of healthy and organic stuff, as you would expect, with price tags on the steep side, Whole Foods style. The highlight is the hot food counter which offers some really tasty (and relatively healthy, if you consider veggie lasagna drenched in bechamel sauce healthy) food to take away. It really is a nice break from sandwiches and it is good value at around GBP6 for a very stuffed box.

Selection is fine, you won't find branded goods that might be organic or eco friendly which might be a bit disappointing. Transparency of how much is something organic, bio or eco is still dodgy since most products aren't even 20 of it. Read the lables. Avoid the rude staff.
