One of the best butchers I have had the privilege of working with. Freindly staff , freindly staff and all at a reasonable price.

Food n other kinda stalls place. Not many stalls now a days but still hood atmosphere. Many drinking places around as well as cafes. It’s becomes alive at weekend.

Interesting history and welcoming storeholders who will actually talk to you. Go into Bread A Manger for coffee and french tabnabs, then get fish from the Blue Market stall. Dont forget Bell the butcher, hot sausage rolls almost as big as your fist.

I walk to the Blue almost every day and pass the market square. Sadly there's only ever a couple of stalls there. I'd love to see it bustling but covid is not helping the situation.

Lovely little local place to keep the community spirit going with special events for kids during holidays eg Easter Fishmonger is a staple to the community/know everyone although I ain't exactly a fan of fish. It is inspiring to hear his continued efforts to ensure that Bermondsey keeps its charm. I tried the Thai food stall chicken skewers/satays and taste and price is reasonable. The lady boss has regular customers on the weekdays too who raves about her beef curry. I am very tempted to try the pad thai but the lady boss did say that it's catered to the taste of local Brits so I am hesitant :/

Had a lovely red thai curry from a stall called Thai Food in the Blue. Packed with flavour & very tasty. Reasonably priced and open 10 - 4 so not just for the lunchtime crowd.

Not much in the way of market stalls but great atmosphere. Great value for money in the Star Express cafe. Nice butchers there too.

The Blue Market new arrival is called Community Opportunity, a large marquee offering a selection of crafts, toys and unique Bermondsey memorabilia plus the addition of bike repair by The Bicycle Ninja, making Blue Market Saturdays a different experience. Don't worry, you can still find the traditional fish and fruit and vegetables traders. The Blue Market is a place to keep visiting as more changes is likely to attract more traders.
