Reviews of Waitrose & Partners Canary Wharf
w.
The family has shopped here many times over the years and the experiences have always been good, nothing bad can be said about the services provided nor the quality.
Getting here isn't too hard, for public transport, Canary Wharf via Jubilee, Canary Wharf via Docklands Light Railway (DLR) and buses, Canada Square North (Stop H) caters to buses D3, D8, N277 and N550, while Canada Square South (Stop J), both caters to buses D3, D7, D8, 135, 277, N277 and N550. You could also use their parking bays which cost a fee of course.
Recommended if nothing else.

Great superstore at the heart of Canary Wharf near Churchill Place. Has everything you'd expect and staff are friendly.
Note that if you park below and spend more than £5 you do get some of your time for free - all of it if you've only visited for around 2hrs or less.
T. R.
Big branch. Very busy. Having said this, they never have everything I want. Always seem to be low on stock! Staff are hit and miss as far as service is concerned. Despite how busy it is, the self service counters always move quickly as there are a number of tills.
s.
Probably the best Waitrose I have visited. Always have a good selection of food and often have the illusive pistachio flavoured mochi (which is my favourite flavour)
L. M.
Nice Waitrose. Most of the staff is really kind, helpful and friendly. Great seafood counter. Although sometimes the fish cleaning, is appalling. Stock control is a bit hit and miss, and sometimes items are missing for days. Broad selection of products and specialty items. Gets super busy on weekends. If you can, shop after 8:30pm weekdays, and it’s absolutely wonderful. Free parking if you spend over £10.
T. S.
Great selection of delicious foods (except that one time in March 2020 when the place was swarmed by a plague of locusts). Not sure what this branch has against sugar free Red Bull, how am I supposed to function now that they don't so coffee either? The vegan section is pretty nice and so are the Christmas foods. Overall, a mid-upper notch Waitrose experience.
R. K.
Comfortable and clean place to shop. Lots sushi and sashimi to choose. It is a big Waitrose, I feel pleasant to shop here.
L. K.
I work local In the local nursery close to Waitrose the staff are so polite and happy to help when you ask for products. My daughter and I are always greeted with a smile. Our favourite store plus the rewards card helps you collect points and save money. Ps the cookies for especially the dinosaurs is a favourite with my Toddler Zhavia.
S. V.
Friendly staff. Excellent service. Decently priced for canary wharf. Would recommend. On my visit it seemed like they forgot to pay the electric bill though as the power went out :D
J. H.
Larger Waitrose with reasonable stock levels except for bottled water. The downside is the layout is a mess ever since they did away with numerous in-store dining options. They have a small John Lewis selection upstairs too.
E. H.
The biggest food to go section I've ever seen in a Waitrose! Also has a sushi counter which is delicious 😋
M. W.
Great Saturday Quick shop, lots of premium brands at competitively price. I have just Tried a brand called Natoora and I really Enjoyed it, Many thanks Waitrose and thanks again for the lovely affordable Price. Staff were super helpful and gave amazing recommendations.
J. C.
I love the selections of meat, veggies and wine. The checkouts were very efficient and the store is well-lit. I only shop at Waitrose, this one and only!
B. S.
We've used this Waitrose a few times - it's large with lots of stock, friendly staff, and easy access to the car park below - you can take the trolley down into the car park which is a help. Can get rather busy at peak times, but still functions well
M. J. C.
Had a delicious coffee with a tasty pastéis de nata. Not had a custard tart in ages. Goes so well with coffee who knew.. Haven't been to this part of London in ages it was nice to pottle around on a sunny autumn day.
F. C.
Really helpful staff, great store for food shop, othing, electronics and household. 🥰
L. S.
An excellent shop. Great selection. Good at handling heavy volumes of people.
A. K.
Good stuff here if you need some posh stuff. Unnecessarily expensive for normal stuff though imo. Staff are way friendlier than other chains.
s.
Great location with parking available.
Well stocked branch of Waitrose, with the next closest branches at Westfield and the other St Katherine 's Dock. The Supermarket has John Lewis on the 2 floors above. Ideal to do your complete shop of groceries and then some. Hand sanitisers available at the entrance and exit points. Ample checkouts and self service oints too. As with Waitrose everywhere, Staff are more than willing to go the extra mile to help customers. The alcohol section has an area where you have a seated area to order, pay and sample wine, cocktails, spirits etc.
Bakery is on site, fishmongers, Deli and plenty of fresh fruit and vegetables.
There are toilets available too.
B. S.
One of the best pure milk is Duchy Organic Whole Milk2.272litre
L. C.
A quality high-end supermarket that caters well for the area. The staff are polite and helpful. The store is laid out well with a good array of products. Prices are much higher than other supermarkets and this is to be expected. An enjoyable shop in a sophisticated store.
C. C.
I don't come here often as I don't live close to it, but it's always a lovely supermarket to visit, everything presented well and a great range of product. As always, staff are excellent. It's a well oiled machine, Waitrose knows what it's doing, and it does it well.
M. L.
A big waitrose supermarket with Lewis in Upper levels. Quality products as always from Waitrose and a good selection of wines and spirits. The prices are a bit higher but this is expected. Helpful and courteous staff all the time. Centrally located in the Canary Wharf shopping center ,near the Canada Square, you can't miss it. Recommended for your everyday or more special groceries.
A. Y.
Love this store so much.
When I have a client in Canary Wharf I look forward to a special grocery shop afterwards as it's in a great location. The food is always so fresh and it has everything you need under one roof!
Wish there was one nearby on the south side of the river...
R. M.
Very good staff able to help with relatively wide range of products in what is one of the more compact stores. There's always click and collect of course.
A. M.
The shopping experience was great easy to find items and the quality of products was great.
I specially enjoy the unhomogenised pasteurised milk, I believe it's the only supermarket that have this type of milk and hard to find in other shops in London.
Besides the milk, a lot of products are top class.
In this location you can find clothes and house hold items. The store has 3 floors, the basement has the groceries section.
Overall great shopping experience.
Happy shopping to everyone would definitely recommend it! 😎
J. T.
Fantastic large grocery of suburban size with the best selection at any Waitrose I've been to. Staff was very kind and helpful, as were the patrons. This is a rare place in London where people apologise for getting in someone's way. Very Covid safe. I didn't see any staff members without a mask and we really appreciated the kind gentleman directing traffic at checkout.
S. P.
Excellent choices, get your general grocery here. Not to busy considering lockdown etc.. Must say good selection of flowers
S. M.
It was Burns night and the gentleman behind the whiskey tasting counter was brilliant.
M. H. (. A.
Great, organised, clean store. customer service excellent.
M. W.
I want to give a 'shout out' and a big thank you to Tony (patisserie counter), who imo delivered exceptional customer service.
I got chatting to Tony about missing out on the fresh pretzels (I LOVE these pretzels) and he very kindly offered to bake some there and then for me (I bought six). So nice of him to offer and this 'small win' made my afternoon.
Thank you Tony! I hope this reaches you and hope to see you again soon.
V. S.
This waitrose is as good as it is going to get. It is pleasant and spacious and feels safe. I must admit pre covid was bit more crowded and even manic during busy lunch times. Staff always have been helpful and polite.
At the moment, is a delight to walk in there and feel unrushed and relaxed to shop. The prices are more expensive compare to Tesco/Asda/Lidl, that is a downside. So dont make a habit of it lol
Enjoy the experience...
R.
You can see people use face masks and hand gel more often in canary wharf area and Waitrose has always been my favorite place to go. People are more aware to maintain social distance here and the other day I saw a father was using the spray over the basket also told his daughter to use the hand gel. It’s really good to see people are cautious during this time. Instead of going some other supermarket that people just don’t care about the rules, I’d rather just go waitrose or m&s. Feel safer and more comfortable, the staff are always very kind and patience as well.
F. D.
Lovely large store with a wide variety of products. Whether you are doing a full shop or need to cook a fast meal you will find EVERYTHING you need in this store.
M. H.
We prefer our home shoping in waitrose due to Quality & satisfaction. This is my favourate waitrose. Very big clean and you can get everything more or less.
N. H.
In these times, the staff really ought to be wearing masks. I saw at least 5 Partners without them on my last shop. That said, the selection and quality of what is available here makes this the best shopping destination in the postcode and several of the adjoining ones. If I need unusual ingredients, this is always my first stop.
S. L. M.
Not too busy at weekends and good selection of products including fresh baked goods
m. v.
Absolutely love the service and the stock! Never been disappointed. Pioneers when it came to using new technology, food at Waitrose is just the best. Never come across a single grumpy or unhappy partner. Love doing my weekly groceries here
A. H.
I've Always Loved This Establishment Ever Since I First Went There.
Helpful And Friendly Staff And There Are Toilet Facilities Onsite.
You Can Also Order Items From John Lewis And Pick Them Up From Here(Upstairs)
Top Quality Food And A Meat Counter And Bakery Is Also Available. There Is Also A Fish Counter Too.
Also You Can Cut Through To The Back Of Waitrose To Get To The Idea Store(When It Reopens)
There Is Also Disabled Access Which Is Indeed Marvelous In Our Eyes.
A. D.
Cold location
Rather expensive but what do you expect with Waitrose
Very nice sushi!
J.
Love this branch & it's been my go-to option for the last 5 years. But on my last visit yesterday I was shocked that most of the staff was not wearing a face mask - particularly the employees selling meat, fish, cheese and having discussions over the food, as well as those adding products on the shelves.
S. S.
This is the best branch of Waitrose I have ever been to and there is John Lewis on the upper 2 floors. It has such a great variety of foods and household items plus the staff are helpful and friendly. There is also a wine bar in it!! Highly recommended by me :)
S. K.
One of my Fav place to go and do some shopping. You have a lot from everything from food to electrical goods. Stuff are lovely. I've been shopping there for the last couple of years. From my own experience the groceries are better quality than other stores like Tesco, Lidl Sainsbury's. So pop by and check on your own , perhaps it might not be your place but at least you would find out.
P. S.
It’s an ok branch. Usually, service is very poor in comparison to other Waitrose branches. It has a great selection of products, however. *Corona- no sign of any sanitary measures other than hand sanitiser units on some walls.*
K. S.
Price is little bit higher...but you get lot of options and very good quality
H. C.
My Favorite grocery destination around canary wharf. Like all the other people mentioned recently, customers were mostly wearing masks. If only the deli, cheese, bread, fish etc staffs can wear a mask that would be good?!
I mean what’s the point of having a grocery and providing fresh food during pandemic but with no mask and sometimes no gloves (saw it at cheese section the staff was touching and wrapping cheese w/out gloves or masks and was talking with the other staff throughout the whole time just imagine the saliva 🙃)
Essential workers I appreciate your effort, greatly, but also PLEASE wear a mask! It will be good for both of you and us customers, or else people really don’t think the food is safe
G. G.
Clean and tidy. Special offer available.
Have security staff around in shopping area.
D. A.
Superb shopping, even on a very bad day speciality shopping a speciality which is quite unique in the UK Market.
h. w.
Paul in vacuum cleaners department is a superstar! Went out of his way to be helpful
L. G.
As an expat, I love going to this specific Waitrose! They always have every fresh fruit and meat I am looking for, as well as really good cheese options. :) There are recognizable brands and many other options! They offer food, clothing, kitchen supplies, office supplies and more.
V. K.
The best Waitrose in London so far! Loads of seafood selection and cheap oysters.
Pro tip: 20% discount on fish counter on Friday
Pro tip: Cold wine is near the sushi section
Pro tip: If you buy large amount of cheese in the cheese counter they sometimes give you a present
M. M.
Best supermarket in the UK!! Huge fan of waitrose, always able to find everything I need and the staff is absolutely amazing! Always happy to help
l. ..
Excellent. Layout more spacious and airy than before, well stocked, feels clean and safe.
V. M. (. C.
Great store has all day to day needs
K. P.
Love this store. So much organic produce.
d. h.
Great branch of waitrose, with the two additional floors for a selection of John Lewis products. Very quiet in store today, got round and out very quickly.
G. C.
This is not a review of Waitrose @ CW but a commendation of one of its employees. I'd like to compliment a young man who works in your produce section, Paul, whom I believe is from Poland. Paul has hearing and speech limitations but works very hard and he always gives me a greeting when I come in. I think Paul only works on Mondays and Tuesdays. He always has a smile on his face. Altho I'm American I've been patronizing Waitrose since it was built. Thank you, Paul, for making my shopping a bit more enjoyable, Glenn Couvillon, Meridian Place, South Quay Dock
M. M. H.
Great great great! A massive store, really the best! The shop has a vast collection of goods. Friendly & helpful staff too. During the lockdown, waitrose was extremely helpful to all of its customers. Excellent customer service ❤
H. S.
Well stocked and always find the right things for your home here. Selection is huge. If you go late on weekends you may be out of luck with some popular items but excellently stocked with multiple substitutes.
A. M.
Waitrose is the most truly ethical supermarket, along with the Coop in runner up position. They support the London living wage and they treat staff with respect and reward them for their work. The other supermarkets are not super at all - suck the profit from local high streets. Think global, act local when shopping but Waitrose is my favourite supermarket.
J. T.
Clean store, very helpful partners. Well stocked as well :)
S. P.
My local. Try to get avoid lunch and office emptying times when its full of people with more important things to do than you🤭 , eat at the steak and oyster bar. It is superb. Both chefs are delightful and have been delivering exceptional service and food for 17+ years. Best quality best value.
P.
There is a nice atmosphere at this branch of Waitrose, it is more like a John Lewis because although the homeware and electrical departments are small, they are located upstairs.
I visited the electrical department and there seemed to be a lot of staff there for a few customers. However, they have a reasonable choice but they don't stock many phones, they don't stock the latest iPhones either. They have a reasonable choice of laptops, accessories and tvs but not a huge choice. The staff always seem willing to help.
On the next floor down they have a homeware department and they are displaying some Christmas trees and decorations there. The Waitrose supermarket is big, and there is a lot if choice there. I could not get a very good WiFi signa here, it seemed to be an O2 WiFi not the normal John Lewis one. However the atmosphere here is nice, and I always like to pop in when I'm in Canada Square.
L. L.
My local Waitrose. I'm so impressed with how they handled the last few days of mayhem shopping. All hands on deck, staff organised and knowledgeable, sufficient fresh fruits and veggies to accommodate the mass purchase frenzy. Really well done Waitrose Canary Wharf. It was very well handled.
J. T.
Lovely place to buy groceries and more. Not the cheapest option, but as the saying goes you get what you pay for.
D. D.
This place is beautifully laid out, the staff are helpful and typically of Waitrose, if you need an ingredient for that impressive recipe or special treat from overseas, you’re likely to be able to find it here.
J. P.
Lots of self service checkouts for fast grab and go items, larger checkouts too for bigger shops. Huge range especially for such a central location, spacious and has fresh deli counters.
S. W.
I've got nothing bad to say about it. It's a Waitrose. What do you expect.
J. P.
Awesome shop and it has everything you’d expect from this kind of brand!
The hot food counters are specially good!!
G. B.
As far as grocery shopping goes, this Waitrose is quite a pleasant experience. The staff are friendly and helpful and the underground parking is convenient. There’s a really good vegetarian and vegan selection too!
C. F.
Mark A is an absolute hero and demonstrated superb customer service. A turkey was missing from my click and collect and he sorted me out straight away. Wouldn't think twice about shopping here again.
K. M.
Good selection, fresh fruit, veg and meat, wine. They also sell artisan breads which is amazing!
Staff are always friendly and helpful. Best supermarket on the Isle of dogs
A. F.
The staff so helpful and friendly. Also I can find everything I want and need. I've shopped in there for years and have no intention of shopping anywhere else. Also delivery is excellent
P. D.
You have to love a Christmas shop in Waitrose even during Covid. There was a long but quickly moving queue to get into store but inside wasn't packed at all.
J. C.
Free parking is available for evening and weekends, which is convenient.
Staff are helpful like any other Waitrose.
I also like the scan while shopping device because it totals up the price as I push the trolley around. I could pack things up while I am shopping and then take trolley directly to the car park and unload. If it’s a rainy day, I could keep myself dry.
C. E.
Huge Waitrose where you can find everything. Upstairs you have 2 other stories of John Lewis where you can find kitchenware, toys, clothing, electronics etc. If you live or work in the area, great place to do your certain shopping items. They also have nice selection on grab and go lunch meals.
C. F.
Massive Waitrose in the heart of Canary Wharf. It is very convenient for anyone that works here as it is open until late. There is an Oyster Bar which is perfect for lunch and a fresh sushi counter! It has all the basic needs and more. It can get very busy during lunch but is usually relatively quiet otherwise.
M. S.
Local and good selection of products available. Can be extremely busy especially at lunch time - mixed interaction with team here. The team working at the fish/meat counter tend to be extremely good, the team by the self-service area can be a mixed bag in terms supporting customers or chatting amongst themselves.
L. H.
Large branch of the popular, upscale supermarket chain, with homewares extending over five floors. Unbeatable whether you're grocery shopping or just picking up a sandwich for lunch. Excellent ranges of meat, fish, fruit, vegetables, wine and all manner of store cupboard items.
S. B.
Arguably the best Waitrose in London, not quiet and quaint like others - but oozing with its own charm, spirit and plenty of produce you can't find elsewhere.
C. V. L.
Excellent variety and quality products.
Good staff :) one of my fav places to do my healthy food decision shopping
N.
You'll probably find everything you need. Staff are helpful
A. S.
As far as supermarkets go, this is one of my favorites in London. They have a decent butcher and fishmonger, and their spice section is one of the best, sorted alphabetically.
S. T.
I was holding my crying baby and had difficulties pushing my buggy out of the way. An employee name Mark (who I assume is the floor manager), asked if I want to sit at the customer service area and helped pushing the buggy, and offered me water. He even tried to distract my super active 2 yr old. Had previously met few staffs who were quite rude, but this one good deed deserves a 4 star on review.
Products and goods availability are good too, the range of fresh produce are excellent.
a. m.
Always well stocked and wide aisle. Avoid lunch time very busy, but the staff on the till always happy.
Y. L.
Because of the layout, I often feel i have to walk very far to get my shopping done. But products selections are good, groceries fresh & good quality.
M. M.
This is one of the best Waitrose supermarkets in London! Particularly nice is that this also has a few floors of John Lewis tacked on. The staff could be a bit more helpful but are generally nice. The quality and variety of food on offer is perfect. The wine bar is great. The wine cellar with specialist wines is great for wine lovers and reasonably priced.
h. a.
Expensive but offers a good range of bouquets 💐
J. A.
Great quality products. Staff is uneven however: knowledgeable in the wine section, but not at all in the cheese counter. There used to be free coffees for members, but it is now mostly symbolic as you first need to check out and then go back in to get it (that it's no longer free is less of a concern than their view on customer's inability to see through useless offers).
A. D.
Great Waitrose over three floors including John Lewis above. Food includes deli and sushi counters, a champagne bar and a steak and oyster bar. The usual professional and helpful Waitrose staff. Checkout is fast and efficient. Try to avoid weekday lunchtime as it's extremely busy with Canary Wharf workers but otherwise is fine.
W. C.
Brilliant supermarket! I've discovered lots of great food there just by wandering the aisles. Staff are very helpful, the steak and wine bars are good and good value. The upper floors have nice homewares etc.
D. B.
Great supermarket. You can find pretty much anything there. Not the cheapest of course as it’s waitrose but the quality of the products is great.
S. T.
Excellent product selection and placement. Fresh fruits and vegetables are my favourites, but among all the quality of waitrose essential range of products is impeccable. Must try their Sushi Bar and Indian ready to eat section.
c. s.
Good supermarket lots of selection and good service. Warning! One cashier is really bad be careful they scan extra bags on your shopping and work super slow she has been working here ages can't believe waitrose employ her still.
R. S.
While Waitrose caters to all required food items .. today we were inconvenienced as their scan handset was out of order That we regularly use and today had to use the manned till to pay unlike self checkout .
Z. Z.
Quality grocery shopping where we go occasionally. Canary wharf offer 2 hour free parking if you spend over £10 which is very handy.
L. S.
Biggest waitrose I have been in and full of gorgeous comestibles
G. P.
Very helpful staff! They will take time to walk you trough the isles and show you exactly what you are looking for. Great choice of products!
M. M.
This is a very big Waitrose and has a great range of produce and products. This store has a very large homewares section and also has many items that are not usually found at other stores. Unfortunately, this store does get frantically busy at times and many of its members of staff really let the store down.
M. M.
Shopping is more pleasant than at Iceland, just don't expect friendly cashiers.
D. K.
An absolutely huge Waitrose compared to the ones that I have visited in the past. Nevertheless it can get very busy - particularly during lunchtimes - and often there aren't sufficient staff on hand to man the tills, as, presumably there are out to lunch too!
T. B.
This Waitrose has a fantastic selection of products and a large shop floor. Added benefit of a pseudo John Lewis upstairs too. However due to its location in the 2nd biggest financial district in the UK, it does get extremely busy at certain times. Try to avoid 8-9:30am, 12:30-2pm, 5-7pm weekdays. At other times it's totally dead which for a London store is fantastic!
T.
Great kefir options, truly a must-go if you are looking to soothe post-curry crisis 🍆
C. H.
Possibly one of the biggest Waitrose I've ever had the pleasure of visiting!
They have everything you'd expect from an upmarket Waitrose and more. Excellent meat selection counters, a wine bar, bakery section, house hold appliance section, self service tills and a café.
Y.
This particular waitrose, while connected to an underground mall, provides a good sense of "this is nice, can come here on occation", without being too hoighty-toighty about things.
L. D.
It feels upmarket located n plush surroundings. Finding the store car park though. Is a challenge.
E. A.
I like this store however, has 3 stars as sometimes, like its happened this morning I got pressed croissants as bakery piled them up as collection of books, although pastries were just taken of the oven.
A. C.
My favourite grocery shop in London, and I go here for most of my shopping. It's a great size, and has a good selection of produce, has everything you'd need on a daily basis and more. And besides all that, it has a wine bar, and and oyster and steak bar!
S. F. F.
Top Waitrose great service and helpful staff. I am always looking for good service and i think like most people, once i find it, i tend to stick with it! I am always on the look out for staff who go that little extra out of their way to please or satisfy! Not too much to ask is it? Well, mostly it is...
N. K.
This store is within the Canada Place shopping mall in Canary Wharf. This is a huge grocery store with an extensive range of items. Its not just grocery though, as you could see a big range of men's and women's clothing. But the biggest plus is the huge range of electrical items like TVs, PCs, Laptops and tablets on display. I've purchased fish from their fishmongers a few times. They clean the fish and pack it for you. The quality has been excellent. This place is very popular for the lunch of office workers.
D. S.
This has the best selection of food and drink that I have seen in a Waitrose store. Fabulous!
S. V.
Very convenient for Canary Wharf residents and workers. Basement parking. Well-stocked.
C.
Top quality, wide range of products but expensive...as always!
S. M.
It's always great shopping at waitress.
U. P.
easy reach store. good food selection. great click and collect point.
A. E.
Honestly great place to go to.
A shame the "pandemic" ruined this great environment and other stores.
O. G.
Very friendly and quick staffs when I collected my parcels from this store
D. S.
Great pathways for social distanced shopping. Always customer service agents around the area to help and shelves are always stocked with great food
A. G.
Very good, always get what I need
I. G.
Well stocked, excellent service and well informed staff. Love shopping here.
J. B.
A tasty breakfast in Waitrose cafe: poached egg on mushroom, avocado, halloumi, tomatoe, £5
A. R. M.
Nice shopping centre
S. C.
One of the best shop for groceries in the area, the fruit and vegetable section is huge and there is also a great selection of meat and cheese.
The ony downside might be the queue at the cashiers, the layout could be improved
D. S.
Bought a mouse for my computer, a bottle of wine and some food for me and my girlfriend's train journey. At the check out I asked two assistants if I could have 2 paper cups for the wine on the train. Both refused, said I'd have to pay for 2 coffees to get 2 cups. Honestly thought they were joking..they weren't. Shame really, wine and food were great, and some great offers in the sale.
E. Z.
Visited this Waitrose on a weekly basis for the last two years. It has wide variety of fresh product to choose from. I especially like its meat section, which is considerably larger than other Waitrose I have visited (say e.g. Wapping, Stratford).
P. P.
For a Waitrose it's poor. They often run out of items or don't have them in stock. The Poultry section is limited. Still, I suppose Waitrose know their customers and figure that in Canary Wharf ew care about good food anyway.
P. B.
Mist upto date store in country. Best food selection
M. C.
Helpful staff, and important combo of being able to shop for food and electronic/home stuff at the same time. Love their avocados. And free parking if you spend more than a tenner weekdays (2 hours) and weekends (3 hours). This makes it far easier than going to Westfield which I find tiring.
n. a.
My favourite place to shop! Staff are so friendly which makes my shopping experience more enjoyable!
Merry Christmas
S. B.
Great store, but I do wonder about the staff packing shelves... Do they ever stop chatting to do some work?
A. H.
Such a great place to shop .Great quality, customer service,
J. W.
Excellent supermarket with everything that you can need on floor -1.
The supermarket is equipped with personal hand scanners, Oyster Bar and Wine Bar.
Check out the upper floors as they have homeware, technology and clothing.
B. C. E.
One of the best supermarkets in London. Excellent selection of wines.
T. B.
Shops very well safety preparation done glad to see stocked up and still going clean and helpful staff
M. H.
Well stocked supermarket, good product variety. Very helpful staff.
C. V. d. B.
Work opposite Waitrose. Great place to quickly pop-in to get basically anything you need..! Always busy, but always seem to go quickly through the queues!!
A. M.
Fantastic quality groceries that are available all year round. The prices are slightly on the higher side but totally worth the quality and variety of the produce.
F. C.
Give up hope, all ye who enter....
If you get off on playing bumper carts with the most aloof, pushy people in East London, and trying to navigate around this theme-park design of a shop - have at it! I've seen kids soft play contructions that make more sense than this mess. Annnnd: WHY DO YOU HAVE YOUR STAFF STOCKING AT PEAK TIMES? Oh, THE JOY or competing for aisle space with angry, underpaid staff... Honestly - is everything micro-managed beyond comprehension these days? Stay home and order delivery service from Ocado. You'll live longer and happier.
T.
I’m fancy now, because I shop at Waitrose. Soz Tesco’s.
D. C.
We had raised some money for the local food bank and filled 3 trollies with food. The staff were very helpful in getting all of the trollies back to our office down the road and then insisted on letting them take all of them back for us. Top service!
D. S.
Great pathways for social distanced shopping. Always customer service agents around the area to help and shelves are always stocked with great food
A. S.
So I've been working in Canary Wharf for nearly 4 years now and last year I stumbled across the Steak & Oyster bar within Waitrose. What I didn't know at that time that they provide breakfast from 8am til 11am. So ive been a regular now for the last year and the breakfast is amazing.. ive eaten all over the world in some fancy places but the chefs here Simon & Suffian get the breakfast just right. All fresh organic ingredients and free range eggs etc. If your are in Canary Wharf you have to give it a try. It's been a little secret and everyone I've brought here loves the place. I thought I'd share it with everyone else. Thanks.
N. K.
Great supermarket to pop into for a quick lunch deal
H. S.
Clean and tidy. But few shelves empyy maybe due to pandemic and supply.
H. C.
I enjoy the variety and quality of what is on sale at Waitrose. The experience is as near to a pleasure as grocery shopping can be. Prices are expensive but cheaper than Tesco Metro nearby!
K. S.
Large for a Waitrose, good selection of produce and a bizarrely popular on weekdays champagne bar in the back!
The till system is odd though, there's two rows that were probably built that way to save space, so everyone queues on the back row and you have to ask people to move out the way to get to the front row, often with people thinking you're queue jumping.
R. B. -. E. k.
Best food shop going.
Big Waitrose fan and loved their MACSWEEN vegetarian haggis yesterday.
Actually I like all their food, and customer service is brilliant.
The one over at Edgware Road is good too.
H. N.
Huge Waitrose compared to what you can access in Brum. Need it in my life haha. All types of Graham's milk are sold here. However it feels like the aisles are a bit crammed together. myWaitrose membership was badly promoted as everyone looked strangely at the portable bar code scanner.
G. H.
Lovely woman on the till, the store is clean and your food is fab
N. T.
Well stocked, high quality products with lots of healthy food and organic options, fresh meat, fish, salads, large wine selection.
S. G.
Lovely staff. Big range of food. Private parking. Nice quality
B. S.
This is not only my favourite food shop in London but I am now trying the wine bar and as you would expect from Waitrose they deliver the best quality and price - a glass of Chateuneuf de pape practically at cost price and wait for it: you can buy any wine in the store and enjoy it plus a corkage of £5.00. Superb value tapas, meat, fish and delli. There is also a steak bar which I can't wait to try.
I tried the steak bar on Friday 21st March - WOW - Basically it is Waitrose produce (the very best and freshest available) at store prices - I started with a glass of best Champagne and 6 oysters, followed with much Blasson de Chat de pape and a sea food selection of lobster, king prawns, scallops, artic salmon which came with a large selection of extras - I chose chips and asparagus - the asparagus was perfectly ala dente and the chips crisp outside and soft within. I then fancied a pudding - none were on the menu but i was advised to wander around the store and select - a chocolate brownie and black forest delectation washed down with cream later I was presented with a bill for two which for the quality and quantity was a 1/4 of any comparable establishment - thanks Waitrose and your excellent staff
M. A.
Customer service today by cashier Alvin was excellent, he put a smile on my face
C. B. M.
Great place to shop and very convinient location. Friendly staff and very neatly arranged items.
K. G.
I am generally pleased with this store , however a good few weeks back I was looking for some Pease Pudding, I was sure I would find it in Waitrose, after a while looking I asked a member of staff to help me locate where it might be. the member of staff in question suggested it might be in the bakery or homemaking isle, I will say that the member of did go and ask for help, I went to the customer service desk and another young man confirmed that they did not know the product and that waitrose did not have any, I gave up and on my way home with waitrose shopping bags (I did purchase my other grocery there) managed to go in to a corner shop and buy some!
I was surprised that Waitrose does not seem to stock Pease Pudding,
M. D.
This branch of Waitrose is fairly large for an inner city branch with a John Lewis on the 2nd floor for clothes, cookware and gifts.
I've only rated this as 3 stars due to the chaos that is the queuing system. At least 3 different types of tills, with 3 different queuing systems, frequently you'll end up in the wrong queue but won't know until the last minute. Making the whole experience very stressful.
Otherwise this branch is fine.
F.
Good quality products and nice space. Staff are generally quite polite.
A. A.
There s a lovely checkout assistant that's always so nice no matter the day. She s a beautiful example of how everyone should be. I would rather stay in a big line to her because I'll be greeted with a genuine smile.
N. E.
Can be extremely overcrowded at peak times, but well stocked (except toilet rolls) most of the time with a good variety of products.
T. C.
Decent quality produce/products and good number of checkout lanes. Although still get very busy in the evenings after work.
M. S. D.
The wider range of products. You can find everything you need. Love Waitrose!!!!
V. V. W.
There are a few other choices apart from steak but I'd say, order a steak. You get two sides of your choice and they are generous. It's busy most of the time but it's great to watch the world go by here.
T. W.
Huge, convenient when working in Canary Wharf, loses points for the sheer rudeness of the other customers (might be why bankers get the reputation, people) and the queues at peak times are something to behold.
m. b.
Very useful store to have in Canary Wharf. Good quality products.
P. R.
Big store with lot of options but very expensive!
A. D.
Always reliable and I can always find things that I need. Good staff and quality products with appropriate price tags!
J. F.
Large waitrose with good value for money groceries considering the quality. Can be busy during peak times. Also has an actual coffee shop in which to claim you're free daily coffee.
L. T.
There was a small quere to get into the store. As for stocks, I got all the items that I wanted to buy. Paid and out of the store less than quarter of an hour.
M. D. I.
Just came here to buy a few things. Not sure if that's a 4 or 5 stars review
D. L.
Huge Waitrose that has a massive selection of high quality food. Good location inside the shopping centre - only reason not 5 star is because getting the free hot drink is quite a hassle here!
J. W.
One of only two big supermarkets on the Isle of Dogs, the other being Asda. Good range, great quality. Parking free for 3 hours if you spend a tenner.
W.
Great shopping here. More importantly there is a great steak spot at the end. Loved it so much. Was a regular spot for me. Amazing really.
J. S.
Very efficient store, very helpful staff. And hand sanitizer as soon as you went to get your shopping basket.
J. L.
Great shop, good quality food and drink
M. D.
It's a partner of John Lewis, has more or less the same stuff as JL it's a nice department sore with a super market on the ground floor kitchenware,, linen, etc on the first floor where the cafe is situated they have cheap eating options and a good range of food at reasonable prices under £10 far cheaper than any JL restaurant,, TVs are on the third floor overall not a bad department store.
M. O.
Can get busy very busy on weekends, but you can beat the 'people traffic' before 12:00! Also, for fellow wheelchair users, there is an accessible restroom nearby.
J. C.
Huge store, friendly staff, and has extensive selections in all categories. Only things you need to go elsewhere for are specialist fruit and veg that are found in Asian supermarkets.
B. C.
Staff are the best at Waitrose, from the cashiers to the floor staff, they're always helpful and friendly. Specials are usually better than other supermarkets.
H. M.
My favourite place to shop. All the staff are nice expect for this one rude checkout l lady.
M.
. Very good customer service from the staff.
Clean
Well organised.
Z. R.
Well spaced out store. Felt organized and safe in these COVID times
G. M.
This has to be the largest waitrose I've come across. There are three floors of groceries, homeware and small electricals. There is a cafe, hot drinks point and an expresso bar outside.
There is a large selection of groceries, some of the prices will seem a bit high but there are plenty of products at normal prices.
s. 4.
Very nice place to do shopping for food and beverage.
J.
Of all the Supermarkets in London this is one of my favourites. Mainly because it not only has a great range of food and extras, it also has a great layout and is normally very quiet.
I. G.
Well stocked, excellent service and well informed staff. Love shopping here.
S. A.
Easy free parking. Clean and big waitrose in heart of canary wharf
R. B.
Helpful staff. Plenty of stock on shelves.
K. V.
Big supermarket with your standard stuff, nice fresh food options and bakery and upstairs department store areas (John Lewis) have some things that aren’t easy to find in the area, particularly the electronics section.
D. S.
Well stocked, really easy to shop in
D. S.
This has the best selection of food and drink that I have seen in a Waitrose store. Fabulous!
J. P.
Best grocery in the area
L. C.
Who doesn't love Waitrose? Very convenient as it's close to work too
M. V.
Is good, you can find good quality but the prices are just little bit high than normal.
J. G.
Very good shopping enviroment, clean and well stocked. I especially like the variety and quality of the food there. The check out is also very efficientefficient and quick
P. D.
Great that the John Lewis shop part is open during these tough times. Great layout, well stocked and all under one roof!
T. L. S.
Much better quality food than Tesco etc and nicer atmosphere for a supermarket. Good range of things like rye bread which you can't get at Tesco.
R. M.
Good sized Waitrose that is well stocked. If only there freezer section was bigger
I. C.
This is a very large store and has a great selection of high quality grocery items
s.
Good ..have been going for years
O. G.
Very friendly and quick staffs when I collected my parcels from this store
G.
Large variety. Very clean and great service. A bit pricey if you fall for the premium ranges and you can also buy the basic range that is usually good and very well priced.
f. g.
Very good if you want not respect any cue or social distance, staff really not care so not much waiting to do + not very corret play with false discount that when you go to the till you find out that not exist
S. V.
Very convenient for Canary Wharf residents and workers. Basement parking. Well-stocked.
V. G.
Like the selection of alcoholic drinks but it is quite difficult to find Romanian products
M. 1.
Better than other supermarkets although staff customer service care has fallen.
U. P.
easy reach store. good food selection. great click and collect point.
A. F.
Greatly appreciated shopping stores with a wide range of quality products welcoming all the diverse people & families of the world 🌎🌈🌿🎺💐
C. D.
excellent place with great range of foods. also being a home store they have many JL lines

C. T. J.
Visit this Waitrose almost thrice a week
And have almost everything
Don’t forget to validate your parking ticket when you spend £10 or above
M. B.
A great supermarket in the heart of Canary Wharf. Everything is always great quality. Superb selection of wine and spirits and craft beers.
P. G.
Good selection of food and other goods. Can get a bit pricey, but the quality is usually worth it. Not an everyday shopping location.
s. h.
A really nice layed out store very spacious so can move freely to shop
A. E.
Honestly great place to go to.
A shame the "pandemic" ruined this great environment and other stores.
T. R.
Great variety of products much wider than most supermarkets including Waitrose. Super fast service too.
U. P.
It's a very common place for every one working at Canary wharf. Drop in after your day's work and buy your stuffs 😉
A.
Great selection of food and drinks + bonus the upper floors are with clothing and homeware from John Lewis
B. A.
I live locally and this is the best I have found its a huge Waitrose with a huge selection. Location is inside the shopping centre, look for the big waitrose sign ;)
D. L. N.
It is the Waitrose I often go as I love closeby but it is very usual for the place to be overcrowded unfortunately. Still very convenient to have that store around.
J. J.
I work right next door and been shopping there for the last 5 years virtually every day. They've made quite a few improvements and staff are more friendly than few years back
K. L.
Horrible customers, store itself has lovely staff and a great variety of products!
M. L.
Great food, fresh vegetables, high quality. The store is spacious, clean and overall it's a good experience to shop here.
H. _.
Good classic Waitrose grocery selection, with added extra of John Lewis house and home IT and clothing.
A. K.
Good selection of most groceries. Self checkout and cashier based checkout. Conveniently located below the Canary Wharf station.
G. U.
No complaints really .I think those who complain about bad customer service should try and keep smiling and being polite for 9-10 hours a day to customers.ive done it and it ain't easy .it works both ways ,customers can be caustic !!
C. R. B.
They have everything I need like calligraphy pens I been searching in many places and I been in Waitrose & John Lewis's and I funding
J. S.
A good Waitrose, and notable for having a sort of truncated John Lewis (including a collection point) above it.
M. S.
Speedy Shopping, Staff are busy talking to each others but the security officer at the door was highly efficient no time wasting
E. T. S.
Great store, this is our local supermarkets after numerous visits we've always had a good experience.

Good sizeable store. Lots of things available
Could be very crowded and busy after work.
There's a small John Lewis store above it.
B.
A good quality Waitrose. The self service tills could do with updating. Gets pretty busy at lunch times.
S. P.
This is a good store but I am often frustrated with the staff more interested in standing and talking to each other than assisting clients. I guess this is normal in London department stores.
D. C.
Big variety especially of fruits and vegetables, as well as meat and other products.
G. T.
Always fully stocked and have everything you need! Friendly staff.
D. H.
Local supermarket to us bit advise if you have a waitrose card use the self scanning gear to enable a quicker check out at the checkouts

S. C.
Always top notch products,I particularly go there for the variety(among the quality).Polite and helpful staff.
L. H.
Good location and variety. Just a bit hectic and shop is messy sometimes.
B. S.
Big grocery shop at basement level with John Lewis-style department store on ground and first floors (but they still call the whole thing Waitrose). There are entrances at both East and West ends and from the underground mall. Loads of self checkouts and tills to cope with the big spike of shoppers at lunch and after work - local office workers. Staff can be a bit officious (sometimes they want to check your receipt for the free coffee so you have to check out and come back to the machine) but generally typical JL good service.
G. M.
An oasis of retail calm in busy Canary wharf
E. A.
The food and drinks are great! Only here I can find expensive whiskey at cheap price. Thanks

K. B.
