Very good supermarket, great variety of items. Our favourite place to shop locally from the closest places. It's slightly smaller than the bigger waitrose at barbican, so obviously a little less choice.

The Waitrose is not one of the biggest Waitrose around as we still have a big one in Angel and another in Barbican but, this one always have all the things you might need for baking, cooking an exoctic meal or even finding exquisite ingredients for that special cake. Staff is very welcoming and the store is always stocked up.

Nice store. They have good selection of sushi and spirits. I visited on a bank holiday which might be the reason why the vegetables and the fresh meat section didn't offer as much. But overall really good shop.

I didn't know what to expect because from the entrance it seems small but the more you explore there is much to see and buy. It is much spacious and cover most of your shopping including health, beauty, body and hair products. They have plants and much more. It competes with their main stores and have more varieties. It was a great surprise!

This is the best Waitrose shop in Islington. Such a pleasure shopping at this branch. Absolutely love the atmosphere and such a joy. I avoid the Liverpool Road one always go to this one. So much better.

Clean and well-presented store the staff are helpful and it is not too busy it is underneath a newly constructed building the store itself is large with a good fruit and deli section opening hours should be longer to midnight the store closes very early on Saturday and Sunday

I love everything about this Waitrose: the quality and variety of food and the friendly customer service. They have a great selection of prepared food also. This branch is a smaller location, but I've found that I can get nearly everything I need here. It's an all-round well-run, quality grocer.

The Staff are excellent nothing is too much trouble. I just hope that I can get wc rolls and hand wash tomorrow. I have tried 5 times in the past week but always sold out. PAULA (I think she is Italian) is brilliant last week one evening she knew that I was not well, I had finished my shopping she got me water and made me sit down, I forgot to get lemons and she kindly said that she would get them for me I gave her the money. I live locally and I know of the staff from going in there.

I go to this Waitrose pretty regularly and think it’s a great one but wanted to specifically call out the last week when the manager went out of his way to help me find an ingredient for a recipe I was making - and this was during the evening rush! When they didn’t have the item in stock, he offered to help me find a replacement for free. Happy customer 😊

In a very convenient location, the store is huge with a lot of products available. They have a lot of vegan and environmental products available which is great. Quality was good.

One of Waitrose’s less well organised branches. They invariably have on display food with a sell by date of today or tomorrow. Special offers are poorly displayed so the item you pick up often has no offer. I’ve raised these issues several times but little improves. About 50% of the staff are lovely and helpful but there are too many who grimly look like you’ve interrupted their important gossiping.

Great place for buying grocery and getting your free coffee! Staff are incredibly helpful too - if you need something, they'll personally take you to the exact place where the items you need is - that's great customer service! The store is quite large here, so you're likely to find whatever you need.

Opens at 8:30 am. I trusted the opening hours on here but I had to go back everyday same with the same answer. At leat a smiley face would be nice! (UPDATE) Opens at its usual time now and the stuff at the door is much more friendly.

From the outside it looks less impressive than the adjacent Tesco Express. Doesn't have the most comprehensive selection, which is disappointing in a Waitrose, but what there is nice enough. I found the selection better than in the next door Tesco Express.

Been in London - and the UK for that matter - for all of two weeks. Have gone to my local Sainsbury's, Tesco and Waitrose (though haven't yet been to the Barbican store others have mentioned). Have mostly been able to find what I need and there is enough variety - including a butcher - that one doesn't become bored or needing to necessarily compromise. Queues really aren't that bad - even during busy times and the staff are quite friendly.
