Waitrose is a little expensive, but it has a really good selection on everything. Quality is also really good in the majority of the products. If you go there with two items in mind, you'll leave with a full carrier.

Store offering some good quality products, though this is not a shop I would use on a regular basis as many of the items are sold at a much cheaper price elsewhere, even though it is the same. The shopping experience is good with a tidy and clean atmosphere and air conditioning on hot days. I have visited the store for gift ideas and have purchased some lovely plants on several occasions that I have been really pleased with and for that I am willing to pay more. There is a dedicated car park and a cashpoint.

Well laid out, decent stock, lots of items that aren't available locally. However quite a few day to day items missing. Prices are a bit steep compared to the local Morissons, Iceland and Lidl. However they are aiming at a different group of shoppers. Would've been better with more day to day items, however it would feel more cramped and confined like other supermarkets. You do get what you pay for, as the quality is usually very good.

Although the fresh vegetables seemed to be low and goodness knows why the Sandwiches are out of store, the items that I wanted were there. The marvellous Tanqueray Royale, simply gorgeous.

This is one of the nicest Waitrose that I frequent very often, its local to me and its got all the everyday essentials that you require. It has a fish counter, meat counter, and fresh bakery, its also got a large selection of plants and flowers. Its easy to reach and has a large parking space at the back. The staff are very friendly and professional and will help you with anything you require helping with.

I had a basket of goods. I was heading towards the self service tills. A lady sitting at a large shopping till smiles at me. I stopped at her till and had my shopping scanned. This is the power of smile. When asked do you want the receipt I said no, I trust your company. This made her smile a little more and I joined. Good and very good.

Good shop but their security is useless. I was shopping early today when one of the shoppers demonstratively pulled down his face mask to his chin and started approaching other customers very closely. A security person saw this guy waking around with his mask down but didn't say a word to him and didn't try to confront him. Unbelievable.

Mostly good staff, but some need extra training. On my last visit I was followed too closely by a member of stuff without a mask, I felt like running away. Looks like the posters about 2 meters safe distance are not for all. I've also seen two members of staff talking face to face on 50cm distance and they got their masks loose so they can speak to each other. Doesn't feel safe.

A jem on Holloway Road. One of the older Waitrose - they’ve been there since the late 90s. Decent selection. Recently a little disorganised because of covid regulations. If you’re popping into buy a quick sandwich you won’t find them in the main store; you need to check out the kiosk just outside in the arcade. Really friendly staff and security guards.

I've been shopping here many years and it's great to see that the store has just been refurbished, adding a dry-aged beef counter, sushi counter and new and improved meat and fish counter. It's always an added bonus having a free coffee and newspaper with my shop, something which adds to a unique shopping experience unlike any other!

A progressive store for grocery shopping. They are promoting compostable bags for fruit and vegetables which is a good step forward for fresh produce. A good selection of food in every department. Love the fresh fish counter. So many good things about this store with friendly staff. Nothing like going to a store for actually looking at what you are buying . I am not a lover of online shopping. I believe in interacting with the environment, people and real food! It should be part of our daily or weekly experience.

Everything you can expect from Waitrose, not usually too busy either. Sunday’s can have a bit of a queue during lockdown, but plenty of parking, and usually pretty fast moving.

If you order via Deliveroo you don't get in store deals. I ordered steak that was 3 for £10 in store but charged over £14 +delivery. The irony being that they arrived with "Any 3 for £10" labels on them. I think it's a bit unfair to be charged MORE than other customers PLUS the delivery fee. If it's issue with Deliveroo then it's still for you to sort out. Anyone else reading this CHECK YOUR RECEIPTS! Otherwise, I like that I can get my food delivered.

This is a very crowded supermarket and compared to the ones in Bloomsbury and Granary Square not the greatest shopping experience. The fruit and veg section sometimes looks like Caracas, with empty shelves. Some good deals on alcohol but not a premium place and you're probably better off going to the Tesco's near Highbury and Islington.

Usual great Waitrose quality and customer care lacks car parking but most people park in Morrisons and walk over a block nice big branch great selection never feels overly busy and always very Well stocked. Recently started asking staff about vegan products and was impressed with how well they knew their shop. Highly recommend this branch.

This Waitrose has a fantastic selection of specialty and world foods plus a wonderful selection of wine and cheese. The staff have always been very helpful and will show you to whichever items you may be looking for. There customer care is some of the best I have seen- once when I was waiting for some items I had ordered from John Lewis to be brought to me - there was a distraught woman who had not felt her (half eaten) bakery bread purchased the day before for .40 pence had been cooked to her satisfactionI, they offered her the option of a full refund or exchange. Also there is free parking available which is very helpful for when you need to do a big shop.

This one is typically very busy on numerous occasions though I found staff unhelpful in this store. Even rude, especially the young ones, maybe they tired, I don't know. Coffee machines are often broken. It's uncomfortably busy most off-the-wall time I've been there. Good selection,however bakery section not as hygienic ascot germs waitrose branches...

It Waitrose, so it's good... but it probably my least favourite of the Waitrose stores I use. The isles seem too narrow and it's difficult to navigate. It also gets crowded which adds to this. You often can't get to the the things you want. And things sell out - the fresh bread always seems to be sold out when I visit and the fruit and veg a bit depleted. All of that said, most of the other customers seem to be reasonable human beings, despite how crowded it can be, and the staff are always excellent even though they're working in sub-optimal conditions. They have a good range of flowers and plants, which is very nice, and car parking which is excellent for such an "urban" supermarket. Even with it's negatives, I'd go there than to other supermarkets in the area.

It’s easy to complain but I bet not many of us phone up to say when they have had a good experience. So top banana to the lady covering the self serving tills never got her name but a lovely lady with a smart hair style short and blonde. . Perfect . I like Waitrose generally but this store feels a bit cramped - especially odd considering how much real estate is wasted on having a car park (baffling to me as a non car owner, and surely this is zone 2 - who needs a car in this part of London?). Saddens me a bit that this is probably now my closest branch since the one in Camden closed - I hardly ever go here though as Holloway Road is just such an unpleasant area. The King's Cross store has a much nicer layout and generally much nicer atmosphere.

It's big with high ceilings, a wide entrance aisle open at both ends, one at Holloway Road the other leading to the carpark the aisle also contains lots of plants and cut flowers. The staff are ( as usual for waitrose) more friendly and helpful than any other supermarket chain. And the food is excellent.

sometimes the advertising can be deceptive. "25% OFF FISH COUNTER ON FRIDAYS" Or words to that effect. Raw king prawns (shell removed)in the "stir fry" and vegetable section @ £24 per kilo. In the fish counter ...raw king prawns (shell removed) £31.99 per kilo. Remove 25% discount and you get £24!!! One can safely assume therefore that the "25% fish Friday" is a con. Like other waitrose - they had a renovation to insert highly expensive Japanese counter and reduce staff overall. I guess Japanese counter is a franchise. Maybe Japanese staff don't need to be paid so much? I like waitrose generally. I like the quality and the staff. But, I think things are changing. Sigh. Time to go elsewhere.

Also, although its a little bigger in size as the one in Russell Square, it doesn't have everything the big Waitrose in Russell square has. For example, the one in Russell square has the lentil and humous crisps in the free from section, but this one in Holloway does not.

Clientele is a bit more diverse than at other Waitroses, easy to reach by car from North-East London. One point off for the wine selection, which is relatively small considering the size of the store itself

Usually great but, at the risk of sounding a bit middle class, I failed to get two of the three things I went in for last time I was there: plain biscotti (only chocolate left in stock, no good for with vin santo IMHO) and, Portugese vinho verde. The latter was not stocked, despite it being the perfect drink for a summer's day (except perhaps for Pimms).

Waitrose is the best supermarket there is. When you travel in Europe and there is nothing of the same quality available, you realise how lucky you are to live in the UK. Prices are reasonable for the quality (take note Whole Foods).
