Reviews of Waitrose & Partners Kings Road
Definitely the most grocery storesque grocery store in the neighborhood. Really packed most of the time and pretty narrow aisles. Not too many prepared foods but a number of things that heat up quickly. Reasonable produce, okay meats and cheeses and decent breads. Good prices and sale items on some stuff if you're looking out, including better pricing on two. Lots of stuff is their brand and it's always considerably cheaper. Try to go at off peak hours.
Waitrose always delivers!
Very nice staff.
Good
😮😮😮
Ok
They have the evening Standard.
Waitrose is the best in UK
Very bad unfriendly service
Small but lovely
staff is not very helpful
Stop-gap replacement for the Waitrose being rebuilt further up the road. A decent selection, considering the much reduced space (although it's much bigger than it looks from the outside).
Love waitrose
Good range of products
Nice shop
No wear to park
Weekends are very busy
Very helpful staff!
Great choice
Very friendly staff :)
This is just excellent!
Hey, it's Waitrose.
I shopped here often for an elderly friend who lives close by. Lots of fresh produce daily. Great for Lunch Sandwiches and Waitrose hot cup of tea if you have a waitrose card. You can eat your lunch in the church yard close by.
Good.
Surprisingly big
Great supermarket
Found exactly what I was looking for.
Nice
Everything you need
Great shop
Great experience
Convenient supermarket
All you need!
My go-to supermarket near home but could be improved a lot. I have no qualms about the overall quality of products...
Conscious options are improving but still not enough plastic-free, sustainable options (within reason regarding freshness) e.g. loose cherry tomatoes, loose wonky vegetables (I can't get through 1 kilo bags), nuts-seeds-grains-dried fruit loose by weight (you will get a significant portion of my grocery budget back from ocado and source bulk stores if you do).
Plant-based treated like second class citizen: feels like the plant-based fridge is ostracized alone on the back wall. It's a natural extension to the deli fridge with the meals, pies, hummus pots, olives and crudites. You've already got vegan cheese with the dairy cheeses. Put it out there and stock brands you're proud to celebrate.
More diy checkouts please 🤦🏻♀️
I wanted to give a 4 star but I just haven't been made to feel as valued recently. Also, I would like more transparency from Waitrose about their sustainability plans and commitments. I've read the news and reports but still feel like my trust has eroded.
Good
Friendly store
Nice place
Nice place
Local supermarket
Large store
We can find everything we are looking for. The prices are good. Easy to access and don't wait to much even in a crowded time 👍
A very good store with lots of choice and very well maintained, the only problem is the prices which are a little expensive but we still expect that. Otherwise we find good staff there, friendly for the few times I have been there and efficient, then very practical self-service checkouts.
Very good, but the aisles are narrow to move around with shopping carts.
Their fresh products, boring the lines
I'm biased and I still go to cheaper supermarkets but quality and customer service waitrose wins hands down. Also they have traditional and newer yuppie (is it millennial now? ) ingredients that other stores do not bother with. Throw in the free (decent non-office) coffee before or after work or during your lunch break and you are winning.
Quite clean
Very good store, friendly staff
A very good, although not cheap, store
Big and good prices
One more supermarket. nothing special
Cloth
Beautiful shop
Excellent variety

Ameizen!
I like this shop because it has an Italian food shop style, I can find very good products even at the smaller price. Overall it's a bit expensive but I understand that quality have to be valued.
I'm glad waitrose is expanding at the moment. With the friendly staff and the food I've bought from this place has never gone wrong with me. A cinema and a bar/food hall will.be added to.the expansion, I cannot wait for that to open! I've shopped here ever since I was a kid.
Everything are getting smaller but expensiver. 🤔
Excellent Waitrose on the Kings Road. Just about covers everything you need in all food- related departments. The staff here are very friendly and helpful too
The only criticism I have of the place is that the entrance needa replanning. It gets very congested there and just hasnt been thought through properly.
Otherwise..well done.
I've never gone so far as to rate a Supermarket. But today I was really impressed by the helpfulness patience and courtesy of every member of staff I interacted with.
So thank you to Pearce for finding all the items not so easy to find with patience and knowledge of the products. You saved me loads of time.
John, you are a star. A personality and charming. Your experience as a butcher honed over 40 years is really apparent. Thank you for your advice today. Great the way you engage so effortlessly with customers. You're a gent!
Charlene(I hope I got the name right. Charmaine perhaps? Apologies)
You advised me impartially about some kitchen utensils I needed and even though you had finished your shift you insisted on helping me. Thank you loads. You even darted off without me asking and swapped my basket for a trolley. Went the extra mile for sure.
Samira at checkout..Always smiling and charming. And very very quick at your job! Hard to keep up. But totally patient as I packed up my buys like some old mule! And waited to be relieved even though your replacement was stood beside you as you were going on break. Waited til I was packed and ready to leave.
Seems unfair not to thank others by name. I made a conscious effort to memorize those named above today.I should have a long while back.
Thank you all for helping me at not the easiest of times..
Warm Regards
JF.
Good variety of products including fish and meat counter. Some of the taff very unfriendly even rude when you ask if they have any more of the product tat has just run out. Very long waiting time to pay but always give it six managers walking around looking like they are not doing much. Staff at the tills usually just talking between themselves and don't listen to customers.
Exelent shop not cheap but exelent equality. High class food at a reasonable price . If your looking for cheep then north end road ain't to far.
So cheap in here shopped here in here every time I come to London so great and smells like home cheaper than aldi and lidl
Just the right size to find all sorts of things without taking forever. I love the self checkout, very convenient. Sometimes the lines are a bit long in the late afternoon, but it's a good location. I go often.
One of the bigger Waitrose's in the area, this is a great place to do your grocery shopping as they have a large selection of shopping items.
You can use their scanner wands here for a quicker shopping experience. There are fresh meat, fish, bakery and cheese counters here with friendly staff serving and taking requests. The cake selection as near the back of the store (for those with a sweet tooth). There are also self service tills here.
I enjoy coming here. There is a great deal of offers and the overall quality is really good. Whatever you are coming for you will find it here and as said you can always be sure to get a quality product. The only down side is that its often really busy and the staff can't keep up. Really annoying when some of them are having a casual talk at the counter instead of trying to deal with the 20+ people que.
King’s Rd branch is especially bad with the entrance architecture. Everybody and everything is in the way.
Foodwise they had better selection for continental European items but but probably because of Brexit - selection got VERY poor.
This is a great Waitrose. A lot of the reviews I see are about petty small things. One thing I love about this place is the stock of more obscure and quality items that you wouldn't find in other branches.
Opensafes.com opened safe at this address and shopped when finished polite staff
Waitrose in general is a good place and have really good variety of good food. I just dislike how many cashier there are in here. Spent a lot of time on the line.
Good service.
Temporary design if self service checkouts not effective.
Good sized Waitrose with good stock. For some reason feels like social distancing works really well in this one.
The temporary store is much larger than it looks and has a pleasant feel. Please can we have the small size Essential cherry tomatoes though? Much nicer to shop more often and have them fresher.
Incredibly crowded and under stocked but helpful personnel kept checkout queues moving smoothly and atmosphere was good.
I Just wanted to thank you for creating a safe clean environment for all shoppers worried right now, as always all staff have a smile on their face despite the difficult times we are in. Thank you Amy Horn
A decent Waitrose right under the cinema so handy for cheaper popcorn and soft drinks or (if you are driving) the permanently cheap gin and tonic cans!
Temporary shop - bit very nice
Good shop, it's closing soon for a refurb, should be great once it reopens
Lovely pub with great service and food menu also has an interesting history of famous people who have been there such as George Best and Hugh Grant, it was quite an experience to enjoy the atmosphere and vibe
A very busy Waitrose but nevertheless still a good one.
A fine selection of fresh produced and friendly and knowledgeable staff to boot.
Nicely laid out and friendly staff..also a wide range of good quality foods!!⭐⭐
This store doesn't open until 10.00pm as advertised!! It closes at 9.00pm.
Small supermarket. Can get a bit busy but we'll stocked.
Just Wanted to leave a comment about my experience today, in particular about a young man at the door called Gali. I understand the importance of great customer service l, as I work in the field myself, and despite being simple and direct (who has a lot of time to chat in a busy place???), the true care for whomever was crossing that door, whether it was in or out, was evident. I’ve seen countless people pretending to be nice with their customers, but after many years of experience, it is easy to see when things come from a place of true care and respect. Spot on!!
the entertainment value of watching floppy-haired posh people in chinos trying to use the self-service checkouts makes this a must-visit store
Small Waitrose. Nice staff and keep your eyes out for discounts, they often have a few items with a discount sticker on
It's got everything I need. Its central and near to another favourite shop of mine actually 3 other faves of mine
The staff are tops especially the red haired ones they are super friendly and kind very helpful and an absolute wizz at the cigarette counter
Nice but still needs to add more items
Great service and a decent selection of food and drink, but only decent....
Usual good quality and service, as well as reasonable prices, but somewhat cramped space.
Very pricey then any other supermarket on Basic veg and many other staff.. very long waiting on cashiers
Very well stuffed supermarket with excellent service.
Lifted some packet soups recently that all had evidence of vermin gnawing on them. Although, better than the Tesco locals.
A good place to get your groceries in a v fashionable place, sweetie
Some things are cheaper than Tesco, good variety and good quality
Just a bit of random one, didnt find any loo papers or paper kitchen towels yesterday ⛔⛔
Has most things you need and more checkouts now. Prices for most items are very reasonable and own brand is very good quality.
Great place, staff ever ready to assist. good experience.
Nice and friendly staff, you can find (most) things relatively easy
Everything ok but they do not have a coffee ... luckly there are other brunches around
After visit here you can make a benchmark about what you should get as a customer from a superstore apart from the product....amazing customer service....👌🏼
Great staff and product, annoying passive agressive customers that will joust with shopping carts, and no, I dont work there.
Good supermarket. Cheaper than Sainsbury on Sloane Avenue.
Great offers today...Go quickly to take advantage
Great staff providing great service. One manager i couldn't stand was Steve Jermyn who was so up himself. Apart from that, the complaints below are just poor people dying for free coffee. lol
Always reliably the best.
Great selection of quality groceries. Not cheap.
Quality produce, pleasant shopping experience
Great supermarket and great free coffee for customer 👌🏻
Not found what i was looking for but enjoyed the place and shopping there
Small, cramped and busy, but you can get most things you need here, and very convenient location.
Good quality supermarket. Not the cheapest one. Friendly staff
Convenient and good selection yet understaffed and for the price point / location a bit scruffy.
Very friendly but sometimes all shelves are empty
One of the biggest and best Waitroses in West London.
Clearly this one just intermediate while they are waiting for their new building. It's ok but will clearly get better. At the kiosk there is continual confusion with queues competing from both sides.
I like to buy fresh bread and sandwiches.
Second favourite Waitrose in London: I prefer the one in Belgravia.
Good store that have all necessary need
overall great place but long queue in peak times
Very nice and friendly play's and staff
Compact but has everything I need. Good service.
Quite big comparing to other waitroses.
Expensive but lots of continental specialities
Crowded with very slow people and staff, which always talks to each other on the tilts, as a result - long waiting times...
Pricey but good products especially sour dough bread
Wonderful staff compared to other unnamed supermarkets in the area!
Due to the relatively small size of the space they do not stock everything
but it is a good resource for 90% of your shopping. Waitrose, happily, does
offer a very good variety and yes, if you went comparison shopping you could probably find some items cheaper elsewhere but you are in Chelsea and this is very convenient! I like their deli counter and breads.
Everything you want and more !
Quality shopping :)
nice shop
Always very helpful. Our first choice in London.
The right size for the area and very well-stocked.
Large store and always clean and tidy.
Don't have what I need
Just love it, got variety choices
Not as well stocked as other branches.
High end and quality food
a standard waitrose nothing more to say
I love me a good old Waitrose and this one is no exception.
Selling all of the usual goodies that Waitrose do and with extremely courteous, helpful and friendly service people too.
The only set back is there is no car park! (unless I'm totally stupid and have been missing it)! You have the option to park underneath Marks and Spencer across the road or try to find a parking space in one of the streets nearby.. Good luck with that.. 🤞🏻.
Still fab though! 😊 👍🏼
Big supermarket with a lot of choice
Ok expensive but it's near.
Lovely shop easy parking
Great shop, good coffe
Very good
Dreadful bananas and no loose easy peelers/satsumas
Friendly staff, every time
FABULOUS SUPERMARKET IN THE HEART OF CHELSEA
Good customer service
THE SERVICE WAS EXCELLENT THANKS
What an amazing temporary store whilst the main one gets knocked into shape and kitted out.
Great lay out and still has all the stock if not more.
Great news Waitrose are keeping this store once the new and much awaited store re-opens in March 2023.
