This Asda is huge and can suit most of your shopping needs. Large grocery and attached clothes section, plus a smaller area for toys, games, bedding, gifts, etc. I shop here regularly as the prices are good and you can buy just about everything. There is also a great world foods isle that includes many items I have not found in other supermarkets. Another great plus is the amount of machines they have dedicated to the self checkout area - I have literally never had to queue to checkout even when the shop appears busy.

I love going there - first place to think of when you want to buy presents, toys and games for the little ones & older. There is a prepared selection of halal meat with the butcher close by - a dream come true when you used to live in Italy and when you're nervous to request how the meat should be prepared/cut. I usually come here when I need something - It's reliable in the service and in offering the products. We can easily buy school clothes at affordable prices. But I'm unlucky to find that they tend to be short of baking papers - I imagine that this specific area has a lot of bakers.

Everything you want in one place One of the largest Asda stores I have been. If they do not have what you are looking for in this Store, it simply doesn't exist. Great variety of products, anything and everything from baby food to car accessories and home ware. Excellent value for money

I tend to storm down there to get in on the reduced whoopsy deals and usually you can grab a Hot bargain! Security mostly are ok but there is this overzealous attitude that they think they are on CSI or if not ardent agents of the FBI. Its just over the top for a moderate Asda supermarket.

Great local store... It's convenient and easy to get too. The store is always well stocked and queuing is always to a minimal. This store also has halal meat and fish which makes it ideal. There is also a good selection of clothing for quick shops. The click and collect could be quicker and easier and we have had dinted cans which isn't ideal... However we don't use this service very often.

Updated on 11/06/2020: I had to re-word my review as my previous one didn't make much sense ("damn you Aphasia"). This is quite a large Asda store which has a spacious car park as well. The store is always kept clean, organised and tidy. Foods and products are easy to locate, the store has a wide range of foods, products, items, and clothes to choose from. I actually dropped my initial review from 5 stars to 3 stars - as i'm going by most recent (and possibly last) shopping experience here - which took place on the 05/07/2019 between 14:00-16:00pm. I use to visit this Asda (mainly to use the Coinstar Machine and do a small shop), however I now use the one at Natwest. As you can guess I did, encounter a few problems with the customer service that was given to me on this experience. Most (but not all) the staff are professional, attentive, friendly, and helpful, although some of them could do with a smile. Whist I was doing my shop - a shop floor assistant was right in my way at the shopping aisle, chatting to a collegue (blocking my view of food items). And at the checkout I wasn't greeted or barely given any eye contact whilst being served. Add to that - when I had been served the checkout girl (literally) throw the change into my hand! Both of the culprits were females (I think they still are), 😇 short in height (not to be sexist in any way, just being truthful). 😀

It isnt one of the largest stores but you will find everything you need, they have a great fresh food section including a halal section. The staff have always been friendly and helpful. They have a large free carpark as well

Visited on the 29/6 and saw a Security guard and the Pharmacist helping a lady who looked to have taken a bad turn. It was beautiful to see, an act of pure kindness not motivated by money, race or religion. Well done to them!

Love this store .I have been shopping at this particular store for long time .since 2012 I have moved from the area and live in crumpsall. I still shop here even there are closer stores .just feels home shopping here .everything reasonable priced unlike Tesco and Sainsbury's overly priced.most Staff are nice and helpful. I like it old fashioned and they do halal meat always handy.

Great Asda, good size with a good range of products - could do with stocking some more items as it often runs out of certain bits, but nothing major. Never had an issue with the staff in the 6 years I've lived in Longsight so not sure why other people are having issues!

Useful superstore that stocks a wide variety of goods. Has a large car park with plenty of spare capacity. However turning right to exit can be a nightmare. Close by a local LIDL so you can compare prices and shop where convenient.

Excellent superstore. Cheap. Nice offrs. Almost all necessary day to day things available along with on the shelf cheap medicines and instore pharmacy. Another Highlight is Halal meat and chicken both spicy and plain in the Halal shop in the store

Amazing super store it has a big car park which is good for driving people and the offers that they have in store are what's online and the prices are reasonable prices and it's close to lidl and close to the local bus stops which is great as no one has to walk for ages to get to the bus stop, the staff are very friendly and very helpful. Prefare this store than the one in levenshulme

Always excellent experience in Asda. Hassle free shipping, free click and collect service, drive through service available, toilets and friendly staff, with many tills to make your shopping even easier.

At one point it used to be the biggest Asda Store in Manchester before the Hulme, Eastlands, Trafford Centre Super Stores were built. Very busy ...what's with the CCTV LCD screens on each self service POS. No one wants to see themselves on TV after a long tiring day at work.
