Absolutely fantastic place with great, unique, high quality locally sourced products. You can find here the best wines, cuts of meats, cheese and loads of other condiments. On weekends they have freshly baked goods from local suppliers that are always absolutely outstanding. Think cronuts, sourdough, brownies, Eccles cakes, pies you name it they got it😜 I have attended couple of their events too and can highly recommend them too. My favourite was beer and cheese tasting night. Fantastic value for money. There isn't a place so beautiful, welcoming and with such a variety of wines like this in whole Manchester. You get everything you need for a party in one place, and more because you get their fantastic knowledge behind each product too.

This place is amazing. We absolutely love WP!
The variety, choice & quality of all their products is excellent, really high standards from their wine, to the cheese, to the coffee & locally sourced bakery goods & not only do the WP team really know the detail, story, flavour of the products, they know how to recommend to you based on your likes or what you’re having with it!
It’s brilliant to have such a lovely, friendly, welcoming place on the high street, where you feel comfortable to pop in for a drink on your own or with friends.
Emma & Will & their whole team are fantastic & make a fab little shop even better. The best place for miles around.

My colleague and I run monthly Monton
Business Group networking events. In June we held our event at The Wandering Palate and what brilliant hosts the team were! The seating area upstairs is beautifully set up and the food / drinks on offer were absolutely delicious. All of our guests felt truly spoiled. Thank you to Emma, Will, Hannah and the whole team.

Such a brilliant addition to the high street in Monton. The staff are super knowledgable and the offerings at Wandering Palate are unique with a great range of both local produce and wine from around the world. I love the events and workshops that take place too - life drawing, exhibitions, wreath making in the intimate and cosy bar space upstairs. It’s great to be able to pick up fresh baked goods from local suppliers who WP collaborate with and Grandpa Greens ice cream is divine too!

An absolute little gem for the area! Excellent nibbles, great variety of interesting wine & beers, lovely outdoor area to enjoy the sun and the occasional artistic event (exhibitions, life drawing sessions, etc) to keep things varied! 100% recommend! :)

Lovely little spot to go to people watch over a glass of wine. Lovely little nibbled too. Great unusual ice cream flavours for those adult frozen treat lovers!

The WP is one of my fav local spot! I love nipping in for some delicious treats and delights from the Deli and enjoying a wine or coffee outside too! So much care goes into product selection and the staff are knowledgeable, helpful and super friendly! Definitely get yourself there.

Bit too expensive!!
Have been a couple times, the first we had a friendly gent at the counter who seemed knowledgeable about the wine choices, liked the beer choices, and we enjoyed the few rounds of drinks we had there. Seemed a tad spenny but not cringeworthy price-wise.
Second time we did the same, but we were shocked at how much more expensive it was! The wine itself was pricey at £13 for a large glass (obviously prices differ per wine but yikes). Average priced for indie type beers but they charged £1.50 for "beer corkage" to pour a can into a glass. I was under the impression that corkage only applies to drinks brought yourself to a premises(?) so this was a shock.
Overall nice place that has positioned itself as a more upmarket place to drink. Great if you have bags of cash. Too expensive for me personally, especially when you have other great, more reasonable options to go to on the same road.

Beautiful cheese board with gluten free sesame toast and a large glass of Chardonnay.
