Nice clean place to visit. Staff are friendly enough and you should be able to find what you need under the one roof from fresh produce to frozen or tinned, plenty of choice of alcohol also. It has a household section for your home and electrical equipment it even sells clothes. You can also find litte pharmacy located inside. You can also do click and collect or do online shopping and get your shopping delivered. It is close to other shops and close to local bus service and 5 minute walk from Chillingham Road station. It also has big car park and is wheelchair accessible. It also has clean toilets inside and a little cafe.
J. M.
Always a good experience here, decent prices and sometimes great customer service. I had an issue one time where I was refused to buy a PS5 game for my son because for some reason he also had to provide ID.
E. L.
Only visited for cafe, food cooked when ordered so hasn't dried up under heat lamps, nice to find lots of variety within store itself.
N. S.
Well laid out and has pretty much everything even clothing and a separate chemist. Expected to be busy as bank holiday but pretty quiet.
M. S.
Great value for money products and grocery. Only thing i didn't like is compared to other ASDA stores this doesn't have much Indian breads like chapatti and roti. Alcohol prices are cheaper compared to other supermarkets nearby. It's very spacious and can be tiring as well. It takes more than 30mins to explore every department in the store. Also the billing counter are very less compared to it's size.
It also has pharmacy inside which is great. #asda #supermarket #valueformoney
C.
Massive store with all the Asda goodies. Free parking. Huge shopping complex here includes tkmaxx, pets at home and Poundland.
L. G.
Much the same as every other Asda. Everything you need from food, drink, fresh veg to clothes for the whole family.
J. N.
Excellent well stocked store open airy isles easy disabled access plenty of parking area
M. D.
Store is good. Staff all lovely. Pharmacy great with lovely staff.
Toilets let it down.
Always messy(due to customers not flushing) but also it seems the extractor fan from the cafe blows straight into the toilets!?
So you get a mix of dirty oil , pee smells and the odd burst of overpowering synthetic freshener.
It's not good!!
Much better kids go to TK Maxx toilets across the road.
L.
Nice big supermarket with lovely wide aisles so customers aren't falling on top of each other as they navigate their shopping. Overall, a really well set out store with lots of variety.
An extremely pleasant shopping experience ....
I definitely recommend to family and friends.
A. H.
Always get what I need and more great shop for having a good browse around
D. E.
A very good shopping experience with lots of choice and good quality products at affordable prices
A. A.
Always fresh veg and fruit , never find shelves empty comparing to other Asda , friendly and helpful staff , but always crowded so that makes me a bit uncomfortable .
M. B.
Visit fine quite few increases in prices as we now expect .Pleasant shop.
s. d.
Good shop every thing you want in one shop
C. R.
Good selection of both food and household Decent quality children's clothing at affordable prices.
I. L.
It's big, and it sells everything you need, including clothes, toys and home. Car park always seems busy though!
T. M.
good selection of costumes for world book day. however be prepared to spend between £10 -£15 for them. it would make sense to pay for books for those prices.
D. A.
Good parking, clean shop, very nice cafe will be going back
C. D.
I love Asda for it’s great prices and the clothes are great prices also their electrical’s are fantastic prices like this iron I bought from Asda last month I paid £10.00 for it. And for that price it’s a great little iron
P. B.
One of the better Asda stores. Good layout and very clean. Nice staff.
A. C.
Good place you can buy all stuff for your House
K. B.
Almost everything is available here. Its a huge area. People can easily spend like an hour or two, if just went looking around. It has great variety and mostly importantly it has items which have good quality plus are affordable. Best for Kitchen items (i.e Utensils as well as grocery). Also its a cheaper than Sainsbury for lot of products or items.
A. A.
I love their reduced price clearance goods. Ahahah lovely
p. p.
Love asda, all the staff at the front of the store are so pleasant and helpful.
F. A.
Standard Asda where it is a Superstore and not just a food shop as it has clothing, toys and home products as well as all your dietary requirements
C. R.
Just been served by the nicest man named Ian so helpful and polite
P. E.
It's a brilliant shop got everything you need
K. V.
Didn't have a pound for trolley the security guard was very helpful and went to the desk to get one for me. Felt safe because of only being out a couple of times due to cancer twice last year followed by chemo. But I was more then happy about the stores safety measures. I was looking for pernod but alas I will have to wait untill I go again because there was none on the shelves 😢😂😂
s. s.
Always fully stocked, clean and lots of helpful staff
A. W.
Friendly staff and good value.
M. K.
One person who does the pizzas really piles the toppings on, they are brilliant!
D. D.
Great staff and selection. One star off as food close to sell-by date isn't reduced enough imo.
T.
Just now on rhe 13th july @ 20:55 i was checking out at till. Shortly after i was struggling with the big shopping due to injured ankle. As i attempted putting things in trolley and take out my bag it was stuck under rest of shoppin, so i gave up. One of youre staff members walked by- male 40s-50 with grey hair i believe. Must havr notice ne struggle and stopped and helped me remove my bag to add my shopping in trolley. I thanked him and thought nothing of it and continued packing at check out.
As i turned around, to pack more bags at the check out, unbeknownst to me he was still there sorting my trolley mess out and even picked up bags i had placed underneathe me beside my legs to do later. I paid and he continued to stay ther doing this. I thanked him and said hes a gent.
Im not one to leave comments, complain or review stuff. However it is duty to report good deeds, i do work in the service industry myself and also manage a security firm. And believe me when i say theres not many people like that. I give credit where credit is due, the bloke needs appraisal. Especially when i never asked for help or assistance. Many will argue its his job, however i dont think that is the case as he was just passing by. A small act of kindess goes a very very long way in this industry and towards other genuine people, it does not go unnoticed. Thank you sir.
Can you please reward this gentlemen and thank him for his kindness and assistance. Cheers.
A. B.
First time in, very impressed. Members of staff actually on the shop floor available to help, thanks Louise. Very clean, fantastic dates on dairy. Keep it up I will be back.
S. D.
Nice but why isn’t it 24 hours like every other big Asda
H.
This asda is all fur coat n no knickers. Great if you need homeware, clothes, appliances, medicines (has pharmacy) etc but very little in the way of food or should I say has very little in the way of affordable family food. You'll be pressed to find smart price anything in here. There are better bargains in the mini wallsend store.
J. I.
Great shop and staff friendly
D. K.
It's a great place to do shopping
M. J. L.
Great deals at Asda. Always nice birds there too.
W. H.
Has everything. Also the new Asda rewards app is out
A. B.
ASDA is good value for your money. They sell their own brand discount range which during these hard times is handy. They also have a good range off well known brands. Staff are friendly and helpful. Well worth a visit.
P. L.
Fab spacious store set in Byker Shopping park. There is ample free parking for up to 3 hours. After 3 hours you will be issued a ticket but there are plenty of signs to advise about this. There is 2 cashpoints outside near the doors. A taxi rank and a free phone inside to call a taxi. The Chillingham Metro station is a 5 minute stroll and there are plenty of local stagecoach buses and bus stops close by. The shopping park also includes a Iceland Warehouse right next door to Asda along with a B and Ms on the Asda's left hand side. Opposite is a JD Sports shop, Argos, Pounland, Pets at Home, Mark's and Spencer's and a TK Maxx store. So there is plenty of shopping to be done. Asda has a large George section with everything from Mens, Womens and children's clothing along with George Home department where you can buy bedding, electrical, mobile phones and home wear. There is also a cafe on site which is always value for money and the store also has public toilets. It's a big store that is spacious with wheelchair accessibility. Its is always immaculately clean and tidy and the staff are always on hand to help.
D. L.
Clean, tidy, plenty of gel and trolley cleaner, although you now have to use a £1 coun to get a trolley!! Happy shopper as there were plenty of available manned (womaned) tills.
R. H.
Large store with adequate parking. Definitely one of the better Staffed reflecting good customer service approach. Regrettably the Customers don't always warrant it. When you get stuck in a queue at the Service Desk behind some numpty trying to get a refund on something they don't have a receipt for and was never sold at the store you begin to think Staff are too customer care oriented?
A. J.
One of the best super market in the newcastle! So many things under same roof. Customer service is nice.
v. s.
The lady in the cafe is so sweet. We went in yesterday Monday the 7th December 2020 and all kids eat free for December. She was very kind and helpful towards my daughter and is a credit to the store 😊
S. S.
Pretty standard Asda store, would recommend
D. S.
It's a supermarket you buy food some of the staff need to a bit more friendly
F. P.
Good parking, always open when it should be, friendly staff, offer free masks, during this awful time, never really had any complaints with their produce, self serve tills need a bit re-programming as they could be more efficient but all in all always a good experience.
M. M.
I'd just like to say a huge thank you to the staff at Asda Byker. My partner and I are completely adhering to the stay home instructions and have only ventured out twice in the last 3 weeks. Both times have been to pick up our click and collect orders from Asda Byker and have experienced excellent customer service, both from the security and store staff.in this day and age it is so easy to complain about anything and everything, so I just want to say how much your efforts are appreciated. Stay safe everyone.
S. S.
Very busy on Xmas Eve, but full of good stock
N. L.
Everything we needed. Even found a rice cooker at a great price of 18 pounds for a Russell Hobbs! Biscuits from there are to die for.
Pharmacist also gives great advise. Keep up the good work!
S. H.
Not a great selection
Not great customer service
s. m.
Its a big store but a heads up for disabled customers is to bring your radar key, or if you know you need the toilet they have a key at the customer service desk
J. C.
Always shop at ASDA excellent quality and prices. The staff in the shop are all very pleasant and ready to help if you have any queries.
G. H.
A great range of foods, produce, home and entertainment items, and technology is available here. Plenty of choice for those with all tastes and diets. The new scan and shop system has also now been introduced, making it even easier and faster to pay for your shopping and get out of the store. My only concern is the availability of staff on the shop floor, and the disorganised arrangement of some items. I've often struggled to find what I was looking for because it is shelved or kept far from where I'd expect. So the arrangement of the store could be improved a tad!
T. S. M.
Plenty of aisles to shop up and down on and the women's fashion are worth a look too.
B. B.
Great food pleasent service thanks
t. g.
Always a pleasure to shop here
D. R.
Good quality food at reasonable prices. Excellent "build your own" Pizza. The staff are amongst the most helpful I've encountered. The only criticism is the bread selection is poor without any artisan choices at all that I could find.
M. J.
Shop at asda byker all the time. Some staff have bad attitudes and it needs sorted. I work in care and the toaster I had bought had broke. I work all day brought it up when store opens at 7am, to be told I'll have to come back. I dont have time to come back and foruth, it states on website opening times 7am yet customer service 8am. False information. So I need to now find the time in between calls to come back. Joke and absolute joke and disgrace. If states 7am then someone should be on customer service 7AM
H. P.
Pocket friendly supermarket with all the brands available in its store...
F. S.
Big supermarket with plenty of choice. Some handy services here including scan and shop, and click and collect. Unfortunately customer service is rubbish.
C. P.
Very friendly staff here, it was nice to be asked if I was mask exempt rather than been patronisingly screamed at. There's something in the water up this neck of the woods as the women are stunning
M. G.
I was instore at Byker at lunchtime today,I had to return goods that were no longer needed (brand new un used) that my Mother did not require as she has sadly passed away, your member of staff on customer service was very helpful & sympathetic to my needs & carried out the refund swiftly & professionaly she offered her sympathy too, which I greatly appreciated.
I have dealt with alot of professional bodies since her death & have noted alot of them have not offered any offer of sympathy but your staff member today was a pleasure to deal with,I think her name is Ashley, please thank her again for me & compliment her on her service,Im very grateful.
Regards
x. G. “.
Unfortunately everything we purchased from this store was a disappointment. On top of poor handling and damaged packaging the store felt unclean. It's fine for a quick shop and offers many services including fuel and has scan as you shop so it's not all bad but it's also not particularly good.
D. R.
Nice staff easy to shop there
R. B.
Good location and everything you need
S. H.
Popped in the Cafe for a cuppa while out shopping. The staff are absolutely lovely in there, especially Cath. You don't get many who go above and beyond like this lady. Thanks again 🙂
J. B.
Well stocked unlike the other local asdas. They also seem to have a better clothing department too.
l. a.
Massive store and good deals too
L. R.
If they haven't got it they'll get it lovely staff
D. A.
It's ok couldn't get what I wanted.
T. N.
It took me a while to get used to this place. It doesn't provide a warm entry on arrival, nor did it seem to seem quite as good a range of own brand products as other Asdas I've visited. On further investigation, however, it had proven to have a spectacular range of affordable vegetarian options, good deals for those who want to buy in bulk, a decent medicine section, and fast and efficient self service checkouts.
It feels like you're in a warehouse when you walk in, but it had everything you need at a very decent t price.
K. H.
Good size store for a good shop
p. l.
Open 6 am till 10 pm Monday to Saturday. Big store. Plenty of free parking. Petrol station just opened and is open 24 hours 7 days a week. Helpful friendly staff. Cafe with great food. Wheelchair access. Toilets and disabled toilet. Great store.
A. “. R.
Nice big spacious ASDA. All the usual you expect from a larger store including Cafe. Plenty of parking in the industrial estate but beware of the unusual junction from the main road. Makes getting in and out tricky if you have never been there before
B. F.
Excellent store. Staff are lovely. Bakery isn't the best but some items are great. Fish and meat are always lovely. Fruit and veg fresh and lasts a while too. Clean store with loads of parking available.
p. m.
It's a big store and sometimes get good deals I travel from wallsend to get here as it is has much more then the wallsend store
L. K.
The area directly outside of the main doors is a safety and health hazard, make sure your kids don’t run out, or they might get hit by one of the blind taxi drivers, and some times people will pet right outside of the entrance and block the road. Unfortunately there no consequences of doing so, so they keep doing it.
Store is clean, and very competitive, just opened a fuel station a few months back, you can also Top Up your payment card accounts, and use the cash machines just locations outside next to the buss stop; which the free Asda buss stops at.
P. L.
Big store. Asda George and Asda Living also have departments in here. A lovely cafe serving great food Lovely helpful staff. Plenty of parking. Petrol station also. Cash machines. Click and collect service. Great produce. Open from 6am untill 10pm Monday to Saturday. Sunday opening is 10am till 4pm. Wheelchair access. Along with disabled toilet. Clean female toilets.
Y. N.
Staff what really help you, unlike Tesco's at North Shields. Girl on pizza counter came round from her counter and took me to the confectionery aisle.
W. S.
Great place for a daily shop
S.
Really warm reception from the ladies, £5 for a 12 piece breakfast... What more can you ask for! Breakfast wasn't greasy and the coffee wasn't bad at all, I'd eat here every morning if I could.
Value for money and the ladies serving have decent banter.
G. R.
All you need under 1 roof, all tills manned to cope with an abundance of customers. Shopping easy, once you know where to look in the aisles
M. S.
Standard large Asda. Nowt else to say really.
d. a.
Had a good experience was well staff
J. W.
Plenty of parking and other stores onsite. Has a cafe and George clothing in store.
J. C.
I like this asda, it's even better than my local one but it is a bit far to travel for me. It's well set out and well stocked. If I can't get some thing at my local asda I would definitely come back here. The coffee wasn't great in the cafe tho. It's also in a great area for other stores and not too far from the metro station.
D. O.
Always a great place. During vivid times it has hooted a lot like a fend for yourself situation. With people ignoring the sunflower landyard and tag.
s. c.
It's Asda they sell everything from baked goods dairy and frozen to motor oil and even TVs and mobile phones.
N. S.
Usual range of goods offered at this store, although the clothing section seems to have very little in the way of menswear. All the common lines of products available, including well known brands and Asda's own offerings.
P. f.
Needed a certain red wine tried three other Asda stores rang Byker spoke to Alix whom was really helpful then approached Kyall who got two full cases from top shelf. WELL DONE Asda Byker very helpful and friendly staff. THANK YOU
R. G.
Has been my goto place as I can find almost anything here. And best is the location which is pretty nearby to my place 🙂
C. Y.
Realy nice friendly place
a. g.
ASDA stays ASDA good place to shop all around. Be careful to not forget your shoppings or loose anything in this shop as you may not get it back. Customer service and security not really reliable. Less inclusive, a multicultural staff would help ASDA!
b. F.
Good range big carpark
g. m.
Asda fine car parking a bit tight . It just might the time of day at 6pm to many staff packing shelves over all everything fine
R. C.
Some staff aren't very helpful and go in a huff when you ask for help, but the vast majority are polite, friendly and helpful. The store is well laid out, stocks a decent range of products too but doesn't have anywhere near a wide range of stuff as the superstores stock. Plenty of parking, disabled park8ng is very close and there is an Argos, TK Maxx, Pets at Home, B&M, Poundland, Poundworld Plus and a Home Bargins in close vicinity.
c. s.
Well maintained and Good staff. Had almost all essentials.
Thank You 😊
C. G.
Lovely staff just a pitty they take certain products off after a time even though they are good sellers . There own curries (chilled) are mainly chicken not much variety of other meats 1 lamb and 1 beef there used to be a good variety
R. V.
Byker fun in the form of ASDA.
J. B.
It's a big asda with everything you need in it. It's got a cafe and toilets too. There are more shops around asda like tk maxx and jd sport and more. Parking isnt the best though.
R. K.
Great friendly staff.
J. A.
Under the current situation I was pleased to see how well stocked and well managed the shop was. The staff as usual were very helpful and are a credit to Asda. Well done to you all
P.
Huge store. Doesn't offer as many products as other hypermarket Asdas so star knocked off. Clean and lots of space to social distance.
j. b.
ASDA has a contract with a bus company to run every hour from opening time with the last bus starting in the walker area 14-40 hours to the store. This is a free shuttle service for store customers. This is an excellent store with a pharmacy & a great variety of children's clothes by George. There is also a cafeteria with a very good children's menu.
N. G. (.
Large store with a medium carpark and an attached petrol station. The store was well stocked, clean with lot's of checkouts.
M. N.
Staff most nice mostly get what I need but some things like salad n bread sometimes have short dates . N hardly have any large multi pack of Tiger catfood fish flavoured cat food 12packs.
J. R.
Highly convenient from Chillingham Road! My only criticism is that it fails to restock certain none specialist products time and time again. I am an easily pleased daily user, but so often the item I have bought continuously (sadly salad type) for several months sells out fast, then takes several months more to restock. Usually it disappears permanently only to be replaced further months away with something similar. This is fair enough perhaps, but the interim period with zero replacement items is somewhat irritating.
D. W.
I am currently in a nearby hospital and having treatment for my epilepsy and some further treatment for a broken neck. I explained to the customer service desk as I am currently mid phase of changing tablets over. The staff were extremely helpful and even offered to escort me to the relevant places I required in store. This very much comforted me and I felt a lot more at ease doing my shopping. I was mostly after snacks and water for when I was in hospital as the food provided by the NHS is vile and everything tastes of a powdered mix. I ended up buying a crate of water and a new variation of Lucozade (zero sugar) I have not come across this anywhere else and was therefore very impressed. I also ended up buying some microwave meals to supplement my dietary needs. Very impressed with such a large choice.
N. H.
The staff were very friendly and helpful and the store had what I wanted with no queuing.
R. M.
Plenty of parking spaces, warm friendly staff but NOT open 24 hrs like Asda, Benton and not as much variety - you do have the advantage of the rest of the retail outlets in the shopping park tho, and a stones throw away from two local high streets and miles of parkland! Excellent parking and public transport services.
F. G.
Good farm produce, fresh veg, and a lit more. You can also find schools uniforms of all ages. Women undies and children clothing. Basically, Asda has almost everything you might need. And it is close to other good stores like B&M, TK Max, M&S etc
L. F.
Accommodates most general items, thus making it easy to do a full one day a week shop if needed...
K. S.
After having a nightmare day I nipped in on my way home for some shopping. After scanning all my things at the self service till I realised the pay pad did not accept contactless payment, and I had forgotten the PIN for the card I wanted to use. I thought I'll quickly transfer some cash from that account into one I did know the PIN for but I couldn't connect to the Internet to access my online accounts. With the queue piling up and the woman behind me becoming more and more irritated, one of the customer service girls came over to save me! She packed all my shopping for me while I went into the entrance of the store where she said the Internet signal was better. 2 minutes later, job done, she had put all my stuff at the customer service desk bagged and ready for me to pay for. Excellent customer service, I just want to say thank you for your help!
Q. u. a.
definitely a one stop shop.... i really like this store because it offers a good range of makeup, hair products, home decor stuff and ofcourse all types of groceries...
like their huge range of cereals, biscuits and i love their honey nut cornflakes.. i can walk even miles to get it from asda...
R. R.
Easy shopping helpfull staff
I
R. T.
Brilliant store. Shame about the miserable checkout staff. We all have to work in these tough times. But a bit of hareless banter doesnt hurt.
S. m. O.
I love this place cos the store is located in my erea also shop is huge get everything you need plus there's about 10 different shops there we'll worth a visit thanks.
D. W.
I’m really really good very cheap Fantastic make your own pizza as well and I really enjoy when Alcohol is well organised
C. S.
Always use this asda ,friendly staff who are always ready to helpyou ,clean toilets, clean store ,shelves always stocked up , great service
C. C.
Great store, with lots of other shops around
R. G.
Cheapest price, friendly staff, warm atmosphere would definitely recommend
J. M.
It's an Asda. Don't expect greatness and you won't be disappointed. Only problem is due to its location it's full of one eyed people with three legs and plenty of mobility scooters. Go there only if needs must as they have other stores around town.
c. t.
Just an asda same store as all the rest. Ample parking
j. t.
Customer service rubbish. No flower bags but could not give me a bag for the wet stems of the flowers. Would have to charge me 5p. Sorry although government legislation flowers are fresh produce so could have offered an alternative i.e small clear plastic bag.
J. 1.
Large supermarket sharing car park with other shops on retail park. Not always the easiest to park. I couldn't get all my grocery shopping as several empty spaces on shelves, which isn't a regular event.
M. G.
It's always hit and miss as to whether the things you bought one week will be available to next. Stock is constantly being taken off the shelves due to 'not selling' yet people ask about the same things time and time again.
d. h.
Massive store, everything you could want under one roof.
Has a café, clothes section and electronics section too.
Because it is in the business park there are loads of other shops around too.
Pretty much the only place you need to visit.
b. d.
Average supermarket but good selection of goods
E. S. m.
Its got good parking and sells everything, doesnt seem to have as much choice of clothes like some of the other asda's. Staff seem happy getting on with their job and checkout staff are friendly
D. M.
Nice big shop. Lost a star as my main reason for going there is tights or pop socks and I often can't get them as there not replenish Enough. Lost of missed sales here
v. O.
Normally have what our family needs, happy to help, lovely staff great ⭐ price's since I changed from Morrisons are much better ⭐
R. B.
Good store lot's to choose
K. J.
Large store to buy daily essentials. Also has a pharmacy, fresh bakery and deli on site. Plenty of checkouts so never have to wait long to purchase goods.
T. H.
A quick Saturday shop whilst camping gave us everything we needed, with a mixture of both English and Scottish produce. More of an express supermarket but very adequate.
A. R.
Good products. Good prices too.
D. M.
Really good opening &late closing times, as lots of people vary in times they are able to go do their groceries for various reasons,. Every thing that you need, lot of choices, helpful and quite pleasant staff on the floor, most people on tills very helpful but some need to
B.
Great selection and well laid out too. Handy location too.
S. F.
Perfect everything can be easily found helpful staff and fully stocked shelves
R. M.
It's okay to shop there, but I hate having to hear music in my ears Many people share the same dislike of hearing music it is distracting
J. C.
Your typical run of the store supermarket, plenty of customer parking, disabled parking and access, also child parking but the chance of getting one of the spaces is limited due to the sheer number of people without kids that park in these spaces, customer toilets are available and also cafe/slash restaurant, you can get all your everyday items here food, drinks, cleaning products, clothes and more, the staff are alrite but are in no rush when it comes to the checkout, normally only ever four to five checkouts open all week due to self service checkouts which are also slow, that's about it to be fair
R. S.
Good range of grocery products as well as homeware, clothing, electricals and a pharmacy. In-store cafe.
I. M.
Usually it's ok , but on occasion they run out of certain things and don't bother re stacking the shelves which results in me travelling to asda at benton, which is a bit of a pisser when you're trying to save fuel.
R. C.
Many shops around it. Big Asda. Plenty of parking place and frequent public transport available
A. T.
Busy but I only went to the mens department on this visit , it a very big shop, also has a cafe
K. O.
As far as asda shops go this isn't a bad one, you can easily do your weeks shopping. The shop itself is a little small for a supermarket and I often find I only go here because it's so close to other shops. If you're looking for a superstore head to gateshead near Ikea.
A. B.
Usual Asda ... A lot of not so great elements that made me feel a little encroached on at times .. that said ..can't beat a quick trip for essential items
F. T.
Great place to shop around and you can get anything you're looking for and has a very big car park 🙂
F. T.
Alun was very helpful helping to pack my bags at the door. I was informed about when he was on way and about substutes in the shopping
s. l.
Nice large ASDA , everything you need in one location !
S. E.
Had everything I wanted in stock. Bit of trouble with a few youths outside the main doors, police were present and had whatever it was under control
F. A.
Very large store, organised and clean environment. Variety of products, from food to clothing. Self service, short queues, avergely nice products.
S. G.
A large store. Good selection of clothes and seasonal goods. Always busy but not overwhelmingly so. Shelves kept well stocked
D. H.
Massive shop, has everything, clothes, electricals, food, essentials. Brilliant.
Not a big freezer section though but sometimes a cracking bargain to be found.
D. R.
Always discontinuing the lines I like which is frustrating. Too long waiting to pay as usual. On the latest visit all self service checkouts with conveyor belts were closed due to apparently a software problem. Queues were ceazy
M. T.
My shop, child friendly, good customer service. Perfect location. 🥰
R. M.
Good range and helpful staff. Some shelves hopelessly overloaded; vegetables thrown about like frisbies. Excellent taxi and koafibg helpers. Cafe is dull
R. V. S.
It is Asda, all you need and decent café with great staff. Lots of services and conveniently located in Newcastle shopping park. Petrol station and good parking.
S. H.
The Asda at Newcastle Shopping Park is quite big and has more products than most. You always know where you are and what you are going to get at Asda. I also went to the cafe for a vegetarian breakfast which was very good. They also substituted the mushrooms for another egg!
C. P. J.
Excellent place for groceries at lesser price.
G. W.
As far as supermarkets go, this store is probably as good as any. Not as cheap as Lidl or Aldi, but has a good selection of merchandise, clothing etc. Bus stop and taxis right outside. Cafe and toilets inside.
C. S.
Great place to shop very friendly staff
A. Y.
Very large carpark , nice staff , good range of products and a big clothing section plus on a shopping park so other shops to visit.
M. C. S.
Good Asda prices often fair with lots of roll backs. They do tend to take their time to stock up when fruits are sold out though which is annoying
M. G.
A large store with a huge range of products and only a short distance from the top of Shields Road, Byker
H. Y.
Got everything I needed no hassle
B. D.
Found what we wanted as we normally dont shop thus far out. Staff friendly and helpful, good value compared to other branches.
S. B.
This is where I do my weekly shop. Prices good but they've stopped stocking my favourite brand of marmalade. Will look elsewhere from now.
I. S.
One of the largest Asdas, easy to find a car parking space. There are also lots of other shops around it such as Home Bargin, Pound Land, etc.
A. B.
Great big store. Kids were happy that there was a cafe so they could get a lunch box
A. M.
I was impressed coming from London. I found the staff pleasamt and helpful. They took the time to show you when you asked for something. Not just pointing in the direction of the needed product
A ctedit 😊

Good value and stock range as you would expect from an Asda but the layout makes it hard to find things sometimes.
S. M.
Huge variety of items at this store! Staff are friendly and helpful. I do almost all my grocery shopping here.
I. R.
Handy for my work and home, plenty parking spaces and staff always friendly. The bargains are always good and I'll carry on going for a good few years to come.
S. H.
Unfortunately going shopping at 7pm on a Saturday evening found a lot of shelves empty so need another shopping trip for the weekly groceries.
R. K.
Overpriced compared to new competitors and hit and miss customer service. It's only saving grace is it has everything under one roof.
a. b.
Loads of stock problems. I almost never get everything I need. It's lucky there are plenty of other shops nearby
A. H.
Excellent Asda, good products, wonderfully helpful staff. If you are considering moving house, let them know and they can give you free boxes!
D. B.
This store is good it is always clean and staff are very helpful. But it seems that the selection of products is not always available in the middle of the week. So only 4 stars
S.
Big supermarket with everything you could want .Prices are good and staff very helpful. There's a small cafe and clean toilets including a large easy access w.c.
