Despite being a small shop it has a huge range of fresh and preserved foods for Middle Eastern and South Asian cooking. The shopkeeper is really friendly and helped me find just what I needed, will definitely visit again next time I'm in Newcastle.

Medina food store is located at the junction of Wingrove Road and Nuns Moor Road in the west end of Newcastle. I popped in to this fabulous shop to get what can only be described as thee best samosas around. This shop has just about everything you'll ever want. But the meat filled samosas are just full of flavour, the vegetable samosa is mouthwatering with every bite. If you haven't been before, what are you wanting for?

Great collection of asian food products. You can find almost every asian spices here. The store is clean and good for a quick shopping. Although the prices are satisfactory but some products are quite high in price, so check the label before you buy and compare it to other stores around. Great experience here!

This food store has many stuff in . You can find any Turkish foods. It has helal food certificate, and quite reliable. I highly recomment it. People working there are quite kind and helpful, especially brother Asıf helped us very much, thanks to him and his colleques.

Amazing collection of South Asian groceries and halal meats. Owner and staff are very welcoming and helpful. Must try samosas made fresh in kitchen. They sell those still warm. The best samosas you can get in North East hands down.

Great corner food shop - great service, excellent range of spices and fresh vegetables and herbs. I also like the butchers, good lamb and chicken. I often go with my baby in the buggy which also works well, good access in the door.

Great location and convenient for buying a huge range of food stuffs but shocking state of shop, especially exterior fruit display, which could be made to look much more appealing for relatively little money. Also, awful that they feel the need to have a huge amount of toilet roll on display for sale outside the shop. Horrible sight every time I pass, which is often with the shop being on a main road.
