B. M.Visited this Sainsburys some time ago with a group from Wales, all Welsh speakers, and felt at home from the first moment. The Sainsburys is situated on the Nene river, and is full of friendly inhabitants. Incredible feeling hearing the English language spoken by the locals, and us 7,000 miles + from Wales. Many of the population are descendants of Tesco emigrants who were invited to create a new Sainsburys on the far side of the Atlantic, and are very proud of their Tesco roots. This is the fifth generation of Tesco people since the original emigrants who arrived on the ship Mimosa in July 1865 - 151 years ago, and still speak English, despite the fact that most have never visited Tesco! Sainsburys is a lovely supermarket, with plenty of shops, a museum, a couple of chapels, a number of restaurants and tea rooms, where you can buy lovely Welsh teas, including Welsh cakes. Other Sainsburys settlements are scattered around a large area of Northampton, which are accessible from this Sainsburys. A truly unique experience, and totally different from our usual European annual holidays. If I could afford the flights, I would visit regularly every year. Loved every minute of my visit, and would love to return some day. Home from home!

C. H.The location of this establishment is pretty convenient. I make a trip there most days on my lunch break for the select few snacks. Their meal deal selection is pretty fair. They also provide some essentials. At times, the self service check outs are card only. There is a car park around the corner so it isn't too difficult getting in. Staff overall are friendly and helpful.
S. L.It is not down to the security for the safety of the shoppers. Security is there just in case anything kicks of and for loss prevention (thefts). Regarding social distancing there are markers on the floor but it is down to the public to follow this in store. Same goes for wearing of masks security can not enforce that customers wear them they can only advise that you wear them in store.
I. C.Great local sainsburys all the essentials and more, conviniant opening hours.
This one has a cash machine outside, small selection of sandwiches and meal deal bits. As well as a good selection of alcohol, bakery, fruit and veg.
M. S.All and all fine. Although I'm not pleased that the cashier put my scratch card in the bag instead of giving it to me. As I threw away the bag with said scratch card in it.
J. F.Most of the time self checkout is card only. Security gaud seems to follow me all the time even though I go in everyday for the last 3 years
