A decent sized Asda with a large car park, stocking all the usual food and household essentials. Along with plenty of vegetarian and vegan options. It also boasts a rather underwhelming clothes section, along with some electricals and cookware. Lastly, the store features a small McDonald's, should you fancy rounding off your visit with a Big Mac.

Came on Sunday early afternoon (2pm) and most shelves were empty! Quite crowded at that time. I didn't need much so raced around the store, grabbing a few things. Got a large 6 pint milk, paid at self-checkout and left it there. I didn't notice until I got home. Dopey staff on the self-checkout tills clearly didn't notice either! I do wonder what happened to it! McDonald's is always very popular here, can take your trolley inside but if there's there's queue, best to order and then put your shopping in the car! Would say their newspapers are un thr wrong place as I only noticed them as I was walking out.

This is a large Asda store - a true one stop shop. Fill up with petrol (competitively priced) or use the car wash at the bottom of the site, then head to the store where you can buy everything from clothes, groceries and green-groceries, fresh food (in-store bakery) and even greetings cards and electrical items. Mostly there is a good range of well-priced goods to choose from. Sadly there are often empty shelves too. Shopped until you dropped? There's even an in-store McDonald's. The car park is large with disabled parking and the store is easily accessible, with accessible toilets and free Wi-Fi. If possible, choose when you shop. At peak times, this Asda gets very busy and it's an unpleasant experience both in the car park and the store. It's always noisy here. The air conditioning is noisy, the announcements and piped music are so loud and add to the chaos of people and trolleys in the aisles. And it's cold, especially in summer. On a positive note, the store staff are much more helpful now, especially those at the checkouts. There are plenty of self-service options for those who wish to use them.

Nipped into Asda for a little walk round thought I would head to the toilet quick and was greeted by king kongs finger in a flooded blocked cubicle. could easily have broken some record, no one seemed bothered when I told the helpdesk would attach a picture but I think the review would get pulled down . Large superstore with wide range of reasonably priced goods, from socks through strawberries to scotch. Staff are generally helpful and friendly. It can get very busy but during off peak times it's a pleasant place to shop. Easy access to big free car park. Cheapest petrol in the area. Cafe in store. Only negative is tannoy and piped music can be painfully loud.

On Wednesday the 17th I arrived at Asda superstore in search of help with cake printing. I had been from store to store from 9 am that morning and finally drove to the other side of the city for a last ditch attempt around 12:30. I had been given the very important job of doing my mother-in-laws 80th birthday cake and had been let down by the cake maker so I was trying to get it finished as the birthday was this weekend. I was ever so lucky to meet Daniel the bakery manager who helped me step by step through the process, printed and packaged my photo in no time. His kindness and understanding really helped with my exasperated situation and I couldnt have asked for better service. He definitely deserves a big slice of that yummy chocolate cake. Great job Daniel, you rescued me from disaster. Thank you so very much for your friendly and very professional service. I will definitely be back to shop at your store. #happy customerwith the perfectcake ❤️

Asda is a large supermarket. It stocks a wide range of general groceries and household requirements. There is a George clothing department in the store. The staff are helpful and obliging. They know where products are and will take you to an item you are looking for if you ask.

Parked easily, had a break after appointments - good facilities and clean. Did bit of shopping, picked up all we needed at a good price. Plus got the cat biscuits I've been after, which local doesn't stock. So I'm happy and so is the cat 🐈 Will call in again next time in Norwich to get bits 👍

Much better since one way system removed however only gripe is with other customers who are like extras from the walking dead, shuffling around in their stained pyjamas pawing at everything with no idea what the term social distancing means. Always find the staff friendly and helpful, massive amount of choice, fresh goods on a par with other large retailers but the prices are far easier to digest when feeding a family of four month - month. It's our favourite of the 3x supermarkets we tend to use and always gets the bulk of it. Live asda, clothes are pretty good to. Ignore the snobbery on some of the reviews here, I work for a 'higher end' retailer and find many of the clientele would not be happy Buying groceries anywhere!

I love and always have done. Nothing anyone can write will deter me from that. What shop isn't perfect?. They try their best.... and maybe they don't have enough staff to "police" the shop...point is they SHOULDN'T have to. People who are grown up KNOW BY NOW what the rules are SD space face sanitise etc..... hands etc... You will get the "anti" brigade and I agree there should be a way of stopping them from coming in. But if anyone wants to volunteer for that position please come forward..... I'll always shop heres the staff are friendly and ALWAYS helpful...these moaning minnies are just having a bad day.... Great prices, but customer service is not great. Got a parking ticket even though we registered vehicle number with customer service that we would be over three hours, we spent £300 in store. They did cancel it for us but not happy that we had to go back to Asda to sort it out.

large spacious store with lots of products available on the shelf from clothes, home, toys and an enormous selection of fresh food. i have however i have had multiple issues in the car park, my car was hit twice there, the first time had a substantial repair bill but luckily the second time was only a scratch. not entirely asda's fault here. still a very handy shop to have local. 5 stars from chunk.

Routinely doesn't have the smaller trolleys outside or in the closest shelters. That or theres no hand baskets in the entrance meaning you have to go to the small items checkout just to grab one. Luckily the staff are great.

This is a large Asda store, with Mc Donalds and travel money service inside, typical good value products. However, the store always feels like you've come during a bad time, often empty shelves and restocking trolleys blocking isles. Plus the car park is a bit of a nightmare at times!

Always a pleasant shopping excursion. Staff are very very helpful, nothings too much trouble. I ALWAYS shop here for the different varieties and constant NEW products. No quibbling over returns. Only gripe I have... .....too many women use ASDA who CANT park straight and even in between 2 white lines. Have had 2 cars damaged, witnessed 12 others in last 6 months get same treatment. Poor reversing. Store fine....but people will always go elsewhere if they can't trust car parking.

On the whole the store is tidy and there is a good selection to choose from. However, although some of the staff are really helpful, the store is let down by other staff who have no customer service abilities - mainly the ones on the tobacco counter who constantly talk to each other and dont engage with the customer or are extremely rude to them. The scan and go is just that.......you scan and they go!!! It doesn't appear to be staffed all of the time or the staff appear to wander off. Not helpful as you and up waiting for periods of time so you may as well go through the main checkouts. My main gripe was when I went to buy fireworks. There was a long queue and the young lad was working hard helping customers and told his colleague that he needed more stock. She told him that she was going on her tea break and left him on his own! Not exactly team work on her part. The young lad was so helpful and kept apologising. Couldn't fault him, but was stunned to think that his colleague was more adamant about her break than helping out during a busy period!

A decent supermarket, with nearly all amenities needed. Perhaps can be said that is has *some* of the best bread, baked just right by supermarket standards... though it's certainly no M&S. The parking is ungodly but there's a McDonald's and helpful staff, so don't complain for long.

I've been shopping here for over 22 years and used to love it but over the past few years it's taken a turn for the worse. The staff are approachable, friendly and helpful and I can only think of 3 that I'll avoid. The tell tale signs show that the staff are overstretched and underpaid so a smile of appreciation on the customers part goes a long way in making their day at work a little nicer. However I do have an ongoing gripe! Many everyday store cupboard basics are missing off the shelves for months on end! Along with other customers, I wander up and down the aisles looking for items that should be readily available only to find gaping holes on the shelves week after week. (Or filled instead with hundreds of buckets of popcorn and children's mini bottled drinks!) On the whole I prefer to do my weekly shopping here but it can be very frustrating to then need to go somewhere else to get everything on my normal everyday shopping list.

It's an Asda. They sell stuff. Some is cheap, some isn't. Some is tacky, some is nice. Their breads not great, their fish is good. I wish they had better gin offers. Staff are as friendly and capable as you can expect for what they're paid and the hours they work. It's a supermarket. At the core they're all the same; soulless capitalism boxes.

This store is really poorly laid out and needs to be bigger. If you have an OCD, don't go to this store as the layout literally doesn't make any sense. Went in trying to get some fizzy drinks and when I got to the aisle there was none there. As I was leaving I spotted the 30 can packs of Cokes at the door positioned in such a way that you would only see them as you're leaving. If you've got a promotion on, don't hide it, it needs to be the first thing you see. If nothing else at least keep some of the promotion in its actual aisle. I also preferred it when I could go there past midnight to avoid all the idiots with their kids.

Big store! Everything you might want or need in your weekly shop. It's got a travel money counter, photo shop and McDonalds inside. The store is bright and clean and well stocked. Not too much of a wait at the checkout either :)

Very large car park with disabled parking and a large entrance easily accessible by wheelchair. Has toilets on site and also has free wifi and a Mcdonalds inside the supermarket.

I LOVE Asda Norwich. Those of you who (dare) to compare with other inferior German shops move on....Asda was here first and I will NEVER shop at A**i or L**l.... The assistants are always friendly..infact I know both the ladies she were up for an award for being friendly and helpful. As for the car park....I think it's ok....just have to fine your way round. Everything about me is Asda, food, clothes, petrol, mobile phone, furnishings, kitchen gadgets..... So for all you non-believers give it a try and be prepared to be pleasantly surprised. I won't entertain A**i, L***l or T***o..... Been coming here for over 30 years and will do the next 30!! Long Live Asda :) X

ASDA Drayton high Rd, Norwich .. This is my personal favourite supermarket as well as store location. I've shopped here regularly since the 83 when it first opened. Firstly I personally have never had a problem parking here, but that is due to the age of the store mainly. I you look at there newer store more carpark space. Its sad that ASDA new premises in the city have always been hard fought against yet TESCOS Sains M&S and now even ALDI LIDL keep banging up new stores nilly willy. The staff at this ASDA is brilliant and like all Asda's Quality/value is king in product line. If this is american style shopping (Wallmart's ) then sorry but in this respect im all for it..
