Well stocked with a great variety of items. It is also very neatly arranged and has a good number of self check-out and manned/staffed check-out tills. The few times I've been it was quite busy but the experience wasn't bad.

a large Supermarket well located, with many promotions, I do my shopping there weekly and I take the opportunity to fill up my car, because the price of fuel is one of the cheapest in the city.

Use Asda Alot, some very nice staff and I tell them. Unfortunately some very poor staff. A smile isn't hard and don't get me started on the basket situation. Hot day today and I thought the blinds were down to keep the food cooler than normal . Everyone was opening them and taking food out. I did the same and got shouted from over the counter. I was embarrassed and left. All we needed was signs or staff telling us nicely. Funny thing is the women that shouted at me is one that never smiles 😃 oh well.

Asia has always been my go to stop for groceries shopping. Their items are very affordable compared to other stores like Tesco. Their staff are welcoming and ready to be of help. What I love so much is the Self Service option, I don't have to wait on the queue to make payment.

Alright for general groceries not the best staff is not friendly. 1. Beggars and druggies always welcome you, asking for change and making you feel generally uncomfortable. 2. organised shelves without of stock 3. For fans from further afield, you'll be pleased to know the tram stops right outside, or if driving, there is plenty of parking space and a road which leads right to it. Stay a while and browse the shelves, treat yourself to a coffee at the cafe and enjoy the ambiance of what is easily the greatest place on earth to be called ASDA Hyson Green.

Popped into the cafe yesterday for a coffee and a bite to eat. I don't know if the two women behind the counter were just having a bad day, but customer service was not their strong point, moody, a general assumption that we should know all the ins and outs of the food deals and general rottvieler style responses to any questions being asked. In their defence the eventual coffee and food were fine, I won't be back though.

I like the store it's big and affordable prices. Unfortunately I am frustrated by the stuff as they are not quite friendly as a regular customer I was expecting warm welcoming but since year visiting this store I notice that there is discrimination in this store by the staff. And the other negative about this store is that of the outside of it there are lots of annoying homeless asking for money and no one are trying to stop them even though they know how annoying is that for the customers.

Very good very large store with a lot to offer! Roll backs are always amazing and prices on everything are very reasonable I enjoy shopping here enough to give 5 stars but it has two let downs firstly, everytime I've been in the store for the past few months there is a specific item I'm looking for that always seems to be out of stock, the space for it is on the shelf but there is just no stock. Secondly nearly every time we use the basket shop self serve kiosks something doesn't scan properly or doesn't register the item weight correctly and we find that we are waiting ages to be acknowledged we genuinely feel like we are being ignored 90% of the time! Other than that great place to shop.

A store full of everything you would want to buy on your shopping trip. A fully stocked grocery section, fridge and freezer sections too. Mens, ladies and children's clothing at reasonable prices. An Electrical department selling televisions and other electrical goods. Kitchen appliances - kettles, microwaves, toasters. They also have a large range of alcoholic beverages in stock, spirits, beers, ciders. Look at Asda online and George online for their range of cloths before you go.

Close to one of my places of commute but would only come here in emergencies. Items are way too overpriced in my opinion; a product you would buy here, for example, for £2, you can get for about 80p in Aldi or other retailers. Good selection of products though: clothing, bedroom, laundry, car essentials, etc.

Shop is just like any other Asda, except for the number of beggars that pounce on you when going in or out the store, or the ones that follow you to your car to ask for money then. Scary when they're doing it to the elderly. I often give money, but hate being accosted when half of them are clearly just funding a habit. Store security seem to just let them get on with it.

Hi Tasha, I visited yesterday for shopping. I bought 4 bags of an item along with my other shopping. When I scanned the product, it showed reduced to clear. The 1 item price was £1.30. and the bill display was the same: Reduced to clear. It was showing that the old price was £1.30 so now reduced to clear and the new price is £3.00. I asked the colleague there and she called the other member and both responded that they don't know. I tried to make them realise that the item price was £1.30 and it's been reduced to clear so should be less than £1.30 but it was £3.00 One of the argument was the price is increasing bcas you are buying more than one. It is not surprising? It's price was a minor thing but very disappointing. I am losing confidence to shop from ASDA Hyson Green for future.

It's always a good experience to shop at ASDA Hyson Green. It caters to the local community and to the wider Nottingham community as well, due to It's accessibility via tram. Ample parking space. Staffs are always nice and humble. Few beggars outside but never cause trouble. Overall, good shopping experience.

Good quality products with a very wide variety. Be it basic clothes or stylish ones they have it. Some basic appliances, car cleaning equipments, gardening equipments, kitchen groceries, savoury snacks, chocolates, bakery items, baby food, baby diapers and other baby items too. Bedsheets, pillow covers, mobile phones, charging cables, gaming DVDs, keyboards, headphones, mouse, movie DVDs, fresh vegetables and fruits, beers, whiskey, rum, vines, ales and other alchoholic and non alchoholic drinks, fresh meat to frozen ones. You can spend ur 3 to 4 hours easily shopping at ASDA. Checkout is easy and staff is very professionally and helpful.

Generally very cheap, can be actually super cheap if you try searching the shelves a bit harder. Asda store is good and well stocked, the biggest let down is the homeless people outside who can be quite aggressive towards you. The shop its self is good, it has a cafe in store, toilets, pharmacy, timpsons with key cutters, photo booth, post box, coin master machine, clothing and electrical department.

As far as the click & collect service goes, the staff are lovely and the whole process is seamless but the atmosphere around the supermarket and in the car park is horrendous after the sun goes down. Lots of dodgy people lurking in the shadows and often beggars come asking for money. The occasional fight also breaks out between customers so all in all not a very pleasant place to be sadly.

I have only ever used the click and collect here. Its a good service though the collection wait times can be very hit and miss, sometimes you wait 10mins, other times you wait about 30+mins. Staff are normally friendly when you collect and it's never normally busy (or or three others at most)

My only issue with this store is the consistency of the beggers that have completely taken over the car park. They are there every single day weather there is police present or not. I'm sick and tired of being asked for money everytime I visit this store and then being sworn at when I explain I don't carry change with me. Sometimes I'm even followed to my car. I really want to give this store a 4 or 5 star rating as the store itself is truly amazing with polite and helpful staff. It's just the begging which seems to be out of controll and the biggest problem with this store.

Asda is a good place to shop but I've often thought it would be nice to have more seats for elderly shoppers. I'm not keen on the café now, it always reminds me of a prison visitor's room. Bit dark and gloomy. The staff are ok though.

Always have a good variety of products, cooked food & I love the halal meat counter. Meat is always prepared freshly & is kept wrapped to stop flies landing on the meat. If you download the scan & go app on your phone, you scan & pack, & it cuts out the need to queue in the isle's. You just go to the scan & go section, hold your phone to the reader, it asks if everything was scanned, then transferred all of your shopping on the screen, then you just pay by card & go. You have this option whichever Asda you shop at.

Large Asda store located in Hyson Green area. Caters for everything you can think of e.g. Groceries, Meat counter, fresh bakery, pharmacy, photo processing, household goods, fashion wear. Very helpful staff, clean toilets if required and a pleasant I door restaurant. Ample parking outside adjacent to Asda petrol station (which payment only at the pumps). Cash points also next to the entrance if required. Great place to shop and competitive prices.

Love the store and the staff are great, only thing that I'd wish would change is the stench in the toilets, both the femal and disabled are absolutely vile, every time not just on this visit, I went into the ladies yesterday with my little one and walked straight back out, thought disabled would of been better, the flies and the smell made me heave seriously made me feel sick. Regular cleaning and mopping have air freshener fitted too, it was the smell of urine and trust me it's vile

I went there yesterday, it is not really ASDAs fault but either avoid at the moment or park a mile away and walk to it. It took 30 minutes to just exit the car park after spending 10 minutes trying to get in. The road works for the tram network is dreadful it needed much better traffic management.

I was looking for a replacement matching Asda towel. I couldn't find them on the shelf. I asked a member of staff and they directed me to Customer Services. As I had a towel with me they checked on their computer and advised me that it was now discontinued. They checked all the other stores in the county but no stock remaining. Ok they could not assist me by supplying what I was after but at least I knew that I did not need visiting other stores around. The staff could have said no we haven't got any, but they did not. Well done.

George Orwells worst nightmare, apparently their carrier bag theft issues have reached a point where every self service till has a camera and screen (to remind you that you are under scrutiny) pointed right in your face. On the upside the prices are passable and the staff usually do their jobs.

Long story short, got changed on the coach in Asda Hyson Green Supermarket carpark, and strolled across the road 30 mins before kickoff. No changing rooms. A couple set piece goals from the home side and Bewdley were sent home licking there wounds (I got a huge one on the back of my ankle from a aggressive challenge). Classic, classic Covid really, travelling into a Tier 3 area but can't play games against local opposition from just down the road? The Tory party ay? Sense mate. Car park seemed alright, reasonably big.
