Very pleasant experience. Prices are still low during the cost of living crisis. Lushen, my server today was exemplary. He is the only Lidl employee to have ever help me pack my bags and done so patiently and kindly. There was ample parking outside and the shop was not too busy with a 3 min max queue at the tills.

what a great shop.. not just for groceries but they have different electrical items in and clothes and gadgets every week i love looking through all the stuff and they are good prices. and for the groceries.. every thing from a note pad to a lawn mower.. could never fault it

Huge thanks to the team today. I was shopping with my newborn who (urgently, according to him) needed a breastfeed and three separate staff members who couldnt have been more helpful or considerate, spontaneously offering chairs, and use of their office and canteen. It was quicker just to carry on and finish where I was (in the wine aisle!) But I appreciated feeling supported and offered help.

I used to fancy Lidl in the Netherlands. They offered considerably cheaper foods and goods than any other stores. Some foods in Lidl here are not cheaper than other stores.

Love Lidl's, it is local to us, has a wide variety of produce, very good prices, customer service is fine. Very clean and organised supermarket. We do prefer Tesco's however as it has more variety of choices and have halal food option, which Lidl's lack in. maybe one day they will cater to our dietary needs.

The local Lidl store is OK, nothing more. While the value for money is very competitive it falls down when it comes to stock, as in, there isn't always enough of it. The quality of the fruit and veg isnt the best but it is passable. But if you want a quick, no fuss food shopping visit then it does the job. The staff are very helpful too.

Really impressed with this stores quality in food for their prices. So much so we still visit this Cowley location even though that we now live in Kidlington. Always worth the drive. We have been shopping here for nearly 7yrs and never had a bad experience. Big shout out to the staff that work here, especially Dhirendra. Initially a good experience. Lovely young lady on till. Shout out to Graham, manager, for being the most unhelpful, inflexible, manager in town. Refused to let me take my shopping out in a basket, I was going to steal it apparently. Then watched me do 4 trips in and out of the store to take goods to car. He didn't offer to help and just spouted verbal dribble about basket theft to me and policy. In a world of such mess and distress would it not be possible to be more flexible and kind?!! He could see my car from the window and see that I had heavy good. Nice one Graham!! Your are jobsworth of the day!

This is a lovely clean store with convenient parking and friendly staff. I found that the Lidl range is really good overall but you may need to go to another store if you prefer specific products like cereals or coffees for example. This store seems to hold a bit less stock and variety than others I have visited.

The store is not clean and everytime I have been there it was a mess. Unfortunatelt the worst part of the store is the location, with all the negatives that brings. I stopped going to this store, I'd rather drive 6 miles to the Wallingford store. The staff are nice, but quite clearly struggling to keep up with the work. More staff might solve some of the problems!

The food is above average quality and the prices are considerably lower than an average supermarket. Be prepared to que for the checkout as there never seems to be enough staff to man the tills. There's ample free parking and it's ideal for wheel chair users.

Fantastic supermarket! The best quality fresh fruit and veg ever, love the quality of their own brands, their product range and the prices are brilliant too! I wasn't shopping in lidl very often, maybe once a month or less but last time when I went there I was very surprised because wasn't very crowded like for Sunday and have more choices than Aldi

Good prices on many things but there is always something I can't find and I have to go to another shop. I am glad I can find organic milk, eggs and some vegetable. Bakery products are very good and European foods exceptional. The only problem is that you have to queue many minutes, even with a small basket. Avoid weekends because is difficult to find parking places and many clients are rude.

Well, what to say? It's Lidl. A shop with products of (usually) good quality and cheaper than big supermarkets. I would like to see a greater offer on organic fruit and vegetables. Also the place is lacking some vegetarian/vegan foods, but all in all I like shopping there. Beware however - the tills are sometimes inadequately manned and shoppers at certain times of the day completely clog them up. I walked in and straight out a few times because the queues were to big.

1st time in this year and nothing has changed, Lidl is always very disorganised and cramped which is to be expected. Unfortunately there was not much regard for social distancing or cleaning and as always the check out workers throw your shopping at you.

Amazing place of scenic beauty. My favourite spot was a small puddle of oil in the parking lot, overlooking a post apocalyptic vision of modern Britain. The interior was stark and unwelcoming, the produce cheap but plentiful. I could spend weeks here, but sadly, I was only able to spend a short amount of time in that oily puddle - I will return someday and write award winning songs as an ode to the majesty of Lidl, Cowley.

Today's experience was a bit disappointing. Tge staff and management used to be more helpful and caring towards the customers. Today though there was only one till open and a queue halfway down the alcohol isle without any intention of another till being offered to help. Only after a gentlemen mixed-up a fuss that the manager and the rest if the staff mobilized and opened 3 more tills. At which point customers started cheering and clapping... However the lady on the only open till carried in being friendly, professional and serving everyone with a smile.

My local store bus number 11 stops outside both sides of road. Or number 12 stops 5 minute walk away. Number 11 is quickest. In the store I always find all I need and save lots of money as I am disabled on a pension

Definitly one of the better Lidl's out there, the store is always populated with products all of good quality or better. The prices are always cheap and there's a fantastic selection of items which can be brought here, an added bonus of this particular store is the bakery with fresh breads and other baker's treats. As others have mentioned the parking can be diabolical on occasion.

Really liked this store. Great produce and Lidl prices make it worth a visit as an alternative to your usual store. However do watch the parking! I was unaware there is a 1:30min restriction and am now having to appeal against a civil parking charge of £90 for spending 11 mins over the time limit on a large family shop!

It's Ok with some good prices. It does lack a bit in variety compared to Aldi. Also there were 3 out of 8 tills not in use. As it was a Sunday which is busy they should have had more open. Unless you live really near by I don't think it's worth a visit unless you happen to be passing.

This is a good shop, selling some specific items at lower prices than their competitors, such as Sainsburys and Tesco. Their deals every week are often very good, but I did buy a watch from here and it broke a little while later. Despite the watch issue, I would recommend this shop to people who are looking to save some money.

Lidl is coming to Abingdon, so i do not need to travel far. Probably will only update this place once in a blue moon from now on. There is special offers every month and you need to be quick.
