Booths is like one of those incredible supermarkets that you find on holidays full of all the best foods/wines and beers that you just can't get anywhere else locally. Booths make it a point to insist on the best local, and national and international products so that they can past the best on to you. If you're looking to spoil yourself with a well earned treat, then you Booths is your location.

Lovely bright shop, nicely stocked.Wide aisles.Good range of food.nice butchery, fresh fish, assortment of fresh cheeses.Hot food counter too. Good sized car park. Sometimes slow at checkouts.

Staff were very accommodating when my father couldn't walk any further, they opened the nearest till for him, brought their wheelchair and opened the nearest door to get us to the car. Prices were comparable for the basics too, not sure about their own range of food - didn't get that far!

Medium sized branch of this reputable Supermarket chain. Somewhat restricted range of goods available which is understandable from the constraints of the site size. Prices are shockingly high though unfortunately, this makes Waitrose look like Home Bargains as the comparison is stark. Based on this fact alone it is an outlet I recommend you strive to avoid at any opportunity unless very specific single item purchases are required. Such a disappointing outcome when the customer facing staff are so very professional, polite and helpful.

I would recommend shopping at the Penwortham Booths supermarket at Millbrook Way in Penwortham. It has ample free parking and a good range of all foodstuffs and drinks. There is also a petrol filling station right next to the supermarket which is handy.

Look, it's not cheap for an everyday shop but it is a great place for the special stuff. Top of the tree for meats, cheese, local artisan produce. It would be a shame to loose stores like these.

Greatest supermarket in the whole darn world. Better than Trader Joe's , far superior to Waitrose, it crushes Carrefour. The Undisputed Champion! Its stock is supreme, service and staff perfect in every way.

I can charge my car here. Many of their prices are eye-wateringly high for everyday essentials. Also they took the self checkouts away and their operators make it their mission to be as slow as possible, which makes actually paying for your shopping really frustrating.

Great quality fruit and veg, wonderful butchery and great bakery items. Atmosphere is good and the staff are the best I have ever encountered in a supermarket - helpful, polite always willing to go the extra mile to help and everything done with a smile and a cheerful word. Not the cheapest but you pay for what you get and I'd rather pay to get the service and quality

I've always been fond of Booths, when living in Knutsford - but I do struggle to get a full weeks grocery shop there - prices are on par with other high end grocery stores, but some products are priced higher - I found our money goes further in the store a certain Prince likes to sell his home grown products.

Booths. The original posh food supermarket. Forget waitrose, Booths did it first. And better. Local produce. Exotic produce. Fresh produce like game. Funny foreign produce. And normal stuff at a higher price than say Aldi. Booths has it all. And that lovely smell of fresh ground coffee.

Recommend if you need quality products rather than cheap products as prices on some items may sway you towards Asda or tesco, however a big + for having electric cars charger that you can simply use by contactless card!

Received a Booths afternoon tea voucher. Booked for a Monday PM. For a supermarket cafe the service was excellent. Food was quality, well prepared and plentiful. Cafe was busy with similarly retired looking folk and had a bit of a buzz about it. Absolutely no complaints and would recommend for a casual treat.

We could have gone to a supermarket half a mile away but instead drove the 4 miles to Booths Penwortham - why you may ask? Only the best quality meat around. If you're sick of your bacon shrinking once you fry it, by from Booths.

Good range of foods,beer and spirits. The bread is of a high quality albeit a bit pricey. Good restaurant with very tasty food. Good toilets and always clean. A large carpark and a petrol station on site. This place is very popular with the local community whom I find to be very friendly. Excellent wheelchair access as well.

The sanitiser at the entrance on the right is very gloopy and quite uncomfortable to have on your hands Other than that it's a booths and yea it's well stocked and organised(a little too well) can't say anything about the cafe as its shut for obvious reasons and I can't comment on the petrol station as I don't drive

Click and collect Christmas order collection process not great. Email says you collect and pay at the cafe but actually I had to get in the queue for the checkout after already queuing for 20 minutes to get my order. It's all a bit backwards. Staff were great as always although not a single one was wearing a mask.

Went to cafe staff friendly helpful cheerful dispite being understaffed. They work so hard and are always fully stretched yet remain polite and nothing us to much trouble but more staff are needed. That is the only reason I have given it five stars as I find all the staff in the store are helpful. There is an issue with the disabled toilet which I hope will be rectified soon I had to notify a member of staff the cord had been pulled yet nobody knew worst still long term staff did not know about the alarm. I would have thought that would have been in the training. On thus occasion it was a false alarm but hopefully this will now have been rectified

Nice supermarket with large car park. Good food but pricey in fact maybe the most expensive supermarket chain in Lancashire because other quality food chains like M&S Foodhall and Sainsbury's do cheaper lines of some products but only discounts at Booths are last day of sale items. Despite that Booths is still a positive shopping experience but possible best suited for the middle classes upwards because I daresay the working classes generally prefer Aldi and Lidl selling things such as biscuits at around 30p a packet.

Tend to go at 8am there days, shelves fairly well stocked although it's a little early for the bread ones. Offers seem fewer and farer between and not quite as generous. Still handy for a few items.

It's not the size of ten football pitches, it has a great selection of stuff, the staff are helpful, friendly and say hello, yes it isn't the cheapest but I'd rather spend an hour in Booths than any of the mega stores. Look at the local deli produce, the bakery and fresh meats, and the wine and beer selection is awesome. Great small chain with a well thought out business strategy.

Don't shop here often but when I do it's for more obscure items that the "main 4" stores font carry. Also, they want a pat on the back for carrying some seriously nice locally sourced produce in the meats and dairy sections. Great store in Penwortham with ample parking with twin entrance/exits and an onsite fuel station. Not enough branches for my liking, I'd like to see them all over the country. Easy 5star 10/10 rating given here.

Used to be a very premium store. It seemed to cater for the upper end of the market with goods price accordingly. However on my recent visit the first for a few years., the standards have slipped. The store was untidy not well merchandised and on the whole very appealing. However the price of stock was still quite high in comparison would not recommend. I purchased some extra special cheese which was far from extra special very disappointing.

Be careful of use by dates. Going through staffed tills is slow as well using the self service tills they are very slow too and there is always one that isn't working. Feb 2022 self service tills have been taken out.

Tried afternoon tea, £15 for two people. Good value. Six triangle sandwiches each with egg mayonnaise, tuna, and ham. Large scone with mini jar of jam, butter and ppt of clotted cream. 4 mini traybakes each, caramel shortcake, lemon drizzle cake, flapjack and chocolate sponge. A pot of tea between 2 which had plenty for two cups of tea each. We have had the afternoon tea before at the Garstang branch.
