L. F.It's been quite a long time since I visited my local Waitrose and, as always, it was a very lovely and most enjoyable experience. The store is spotlessly clean and all the staff are very kind, helpful, attentive and visible! Bravo Waitrose!
M. H.An excellent location for an excellent outlet that is skyways a desirable place to do the shopping. Staffs are polite and helpful. There’s a free and ample parking on the site that is well looked after and kept clean. The access and exit from the car park is a bit windy and narrow but that’s a plus. It definitely keeps the drivers in check and forces them to make a slow and safe approach!
g. 1.very good,this store is very very clean and asiles are easily accessible,could get everything i needed with ease,they have such alot of food and stuff in stock.The cafe area is also quite nice and has a couple of very interesting music games in stock.
I. m.Not my usual shopping experience, but thought I'd give it a try and yes a bit more expensive on some items but more relaxing and less busy than a lot of competitors, but some stock not available or very low, will certainly use again, when in the area.
A. M.What I like with this Waitrose, is that the shelves are always extremely well ordered. Polite staff and complemented by an excellent cafeteria with a choice of drinks, cold and hot food.
There are always plenty of parking spaces. But when coming from Reading, the traffic on Oxford Road has to be considered. There are good and bad days when it comes to that.
G. S.Although it is a bit far away from the centre, the store is always clean and full of items so anytime we arrive can purchase everything.
Help is available throughout the store and easy to get in and out. Sometimes there's a queue but usually moves quickly.
R. O.It's Waitrose. This location is no better or worse than any other that I've been to. Expect to pay significantly more for the same items you can get at other supermarkets. The produce and shopping experience is better than average supermarkets and as usual, I'm fairly sure I was the only customer in the building under 65.
A. V. O.A lovely store, a little bit out of the main town centre with good parking. Well lit, not too cold, a good number of checkout tills. I didn't see a self service till though; is this something that can be implemented if there isn't one?
A. M.Expensive as all Waitrose are but you can't beat the quality of the fresh produces, particularly fruits and vegetables. That's obviously compared to the other supermarket chains, not specialised grocers.
The store itself is bright and clean, feels spacious and is nicely laid out. I've never had problems parking nor has the place ever felt crowded but then I usually shop either fairly early in the morning or early evening, around 8pm.
All in all, one of the better supermarket shopping experiences but it comes at a price.
J. B.Our two Brompton M6R bicycles were stolen here on 14th May 2017 between 15:00-15:30 from the bike rack at Waitrose Oxford Road. The manager was willing to help us and was very nice. Unfortunately their security cameras don't cover the bike rack area. Please use the best lock you can buy and do keep your eyes open. We reported this to police and marked both bikes as stolen on BikeRegister. Frame numbers 290950 and 354485.

H. M.Shopping at Waitrose makes you feel calm due to the lighting, wide isles and helpful staff. It’s a great size too so you don’t feel like you’ve walked mikes to do your weekly shop. In my opinion It’s by far the best supermarket.

G. D.What lovely staff.. they corrected 3 missing items in my delivery at 7:30pm on a Sunday night and sent a large box of luxury chocolates and a hand written note to apologise for their mistake.. (OK the missing items were Gin, Red Wine and Martini so approx £40 worth of alcohol) but they sorted out without question and were professional about it. We are just amazed at their wonderful attitude to going the extra mile for their customers 😀 Big thanks to Lucy and the Reading Team
N. “. S.Was a forced pit stop that saw Me shop here, (As a rule I avoid the brand. Something about the way they layout their stores and the overhead isle signage that confuses and so really annoys Me!) but as far as Covid protocols etc go,😷 I was impressed.
(Which would have got them 5⭐, but as I needed to grab a few bits, I was soon reminded of My above rule!👆)

S. G.Staff without exeption are always friendly helpful and professional. It is usually well stocked but on rare occasions sell by dates have been rather short. It's unusual to wait to be served at the tills as department supervisors open another till for customers.
