I. P.Quality products, fresh veg and fish, people say its expensive, yes it is but you get what you pay for, on the same level as M&S for the quality of the products.

Quality. Well above average. I don’t shop in Waitrose as my regular shop. When I do I spend more. Which is expected. Gotta treat yourself once in a while.
Price. Expected for such a store. I always come back for the salad here. I don’t know why. And it’s reasonably priced as I’ve never had a “bad” salad there once.

C. B.Waitrose have managed to find an effective way to mitigate busy stores with a queuing system even when the shop does not seem overly full. I am sure part of the reason they do not get too busy is their high pricing on some products but branded goods generally sell for retail and the quality of the more expensive products is evident. Personally I believe the higher prices are a worthwhile trade off for the safer and more pleasant shopping experience during the pandemic.

A. C.Went to Waitrose in Woodley around 10am today/Wed and was surprised at there being no queue! Easy to move around store as people keep their distance and it wasn't overly busy. They have 6 self-service tills for contactless payment ... quick and easy to use with staff around if help is needed.
K. H.I absolutely love it in here - the staff are always so friendly and make the shopping experience great! They chat, sometimes offer complimentary food/drink as a gesture of goodwill and are so polite and courteous - couldn’t have a better group of people working there! Thank you for all that you do Waitrose of Woodley!

I think all the supermarkets have good choice . The self service is ridiculous no space.
S.Clean, organized, staff are welcoming and willing to help. The quality of products on range are always of the highest standard however have a limited range. I would like to see more disability parking at the Woodley branch as many elderly often have to park further away. The overall experience is always if the highest quality.
G. W.My wife and I visited this store for the first time since lockdown. Facility available to clean trolley handle although these are done when returned. Hand sanitizer also available. Store is well laid out for social distance shopping unfortunately not all customers abide by them. One elderly couple were rushing around getting in everyone's way and not always keeping their distance. Another lady kept leaving her trolley in the middle of the aisle while she selected her goods. Waitrose should consider a one way system but customers tend not to take notice in other supermarkets. Easy checkout system, we usually use self-scan shopping.
N. R.Best UK Supermarket. This one usually not best stocked but still ok. Cleanliness and courtesy of staff at the highest.

A good selection of goods for the size of the store and everything seemed of good quality, shelves were well stocked.
Till staff were friendly and helpful, however found the manager (or what I presume to be) a little rude when she asked me at 7.55pm to go immediately to the checkout as they were closing in 5 minutes. I asked if I could just grab a couple more things as that was all I needed and there was a queue of 3 in front of me but she wouldn't hear any of it.
Found it disappointing in what was otherwise a good store.
S. M.Great example of the Waitrose chain. They sell a great range of products, even though this isn't the largest Waitrose around. The store is well maintained and the staff are friendly and helpful; always willing to assist if you have an enquiry. I'm deducting a star as the prices could be more in line with competitors; I still feel they are overpriced but you do get good quality products.

C. C.A small store with the key features including butcher, fishmonger and delicatessen. However there is no toilet or café and you have pay for 1hr of 'pay and display' parking then claim back at the till when you spend over £10.
Daily clearance items (reduced prices) usually start around 4pm.
J. S.The parking is not free, and I had to go into the shop for my click and collect food order rather than being able to call a number like in other branches of Waitrose
G. W.The Waitrose itself is great - I like Waitrose generally for the selection & quality, and this one is a decent size with great staff. However, the car park attached to it, run by Wokingham Borough Council, is ridiculous. No 30 minute option even though most trips into Waitrose take 15 mins or less, and there’s a pointless ‘no return same day’ policy! Waitrose must realise this is losing them business, especially with an M&S Food Hall & Co-op up the road that have free parking. Come on Waitrose, are you doing something about this?
B.Excellent range of fresh produce, prepared meals, "world food & condiments". Selected items discounted heavily. Free Coffee after you shop with theil mywaitrose card.
L.Great hygiene, but not a lot of choice compared to the Waitrose in Newbury. But overall great!
