Lovely cooperative great for more unusual or eco-friendly products. I love love love the organic produce and loose beans, nuts, cereals, dried fruit etc, really great for anyone trying to reduce waste in their life. It also has soap, shampoo, detergent etc that you can fill from your own bottles. We need more shops like Rice Up Wholefoods!

I wish this shop wasn't so far out of the way for us! They're clearly very committed to the ethical running of the shop, from the reused/donated shopping bags to the 'fill your own bottles of soap' and more. The prices are good, which isn't always the case with this kind of shop in my experience. Just wish we could go more often!

This shop is amazing! I come here to get the granola which is cheaper than it is in the shops. I love that they have plastic free cucumber and lettuce! We got the lettuce over a week ago and it’s still fresh and crispy. I will definitely be coming here to buy my cucumber and lettuce, only place near me that sells it without packaging. I also had one of their vegan cupcakes and it’s the best cupcake I’ve ever had!! They also do organic oranges which make a mega tasty glass of juice!

A vegan / wholefoods / eco haven in Southampton. Fantastic variety of products. They even make fresh food in store - lovely vegan cakes / sandwiches / pastries and soup to go. The prices are reasonable too. The staff are always friendly and happy to help. A great shop for the community and its nice to know you are supporting a local co-op with yor purchase. 5 stars for sure!

Great place to start a journey to a zero waste, vegan or plastic free lifestyle. The shop offers a great range of organic food and products, as well as plastic free products. I personally love the self-service filling tanks, where you can fill bottles of shampoo, conditioner, fabric softner and more by yourself - and at a very low price. I find the prices competitive to the market and sometimes even lower than competitors. I would only like the staff to be friendlier or slightly more helpful.

Great shop. Not many like this but lucky to have one in Southampton not only does it sell completely vegan products but it serves fresh vegan lunch and cakes bits from there I store deli which are always delicious. The refill bins are great value for money and I love having that option and everything usually tastes fresh and yummy. Some shelf products are expensive but that’s usually as they are imported but it’s nice to have the option to try all these new things when usually you wouldn’t get the option. Beauty and medicine products are expensive but that just reflects on the companies that put all the extra effort in to being vegan, organic, eco friendly and all that :)

It's great as a vegan to just have places you can go and not feel like you are being awkward, and Rice Up is one of the best of those places. Full of all the crazy quirky ingredients you could ever need, and delicious fresh cakes. Are the prices a bit higher? Yes. But their blondies and brownies are delicious.

Food = superb. Salad pots are amazing and so are their big selection of whole foods. Really impressive their wide variety. What let’s them down is their customer service. Especially the older folks who work there. Very unprofessional how they speak at you when asking valid questions. This is what let’s the place down from, in my book a 5 star rating!

Love all the products that they sell at rice up and the freshly made cakes are amazing! However, despite most of the staff being friendly there is a couple of women who work there that are just so rude. When I've asked things before they've answered in a rude, patronising way. Unfortunately this does make me visit the store very infrequently and I'd rather find stuff online

Really lovely independent health foods shop, they supply a variety of fresh produce as well as packages goodies, body care items, vitamins and supplements. They also have a deli counter, though I was disappointed to see it completely empty last time I visited👎
