Reviews of Co-op Food - Penkhull - Manor Court Street

I moved into Penkhull 15 months ago and this is my local Co Op store. I use it regularly.
It might be a bit on the small side but that's what makes it so good. Also it retains the character of the Small Village Community and that sense of community is always present. The building blends with its surroundings and doesn't stick out like a sore thumb.
The staff are always welcoming, friendly and helpful. They're always smiling and having a laugh. Even if they're having a bit of a bad day they always stay professional and never let it show. I wouldn't hesitate in recommending this store.

I can't possibly thank the staff and customers of Penkhull Co op enough. I was walking Bindi the lurcher on the Croft when she was spooked by a firework,in broad daylight. She raced off at top speed, which is really fast, and I puffed after, being directed by various people I saw on the way. I had horrible visions of traffic accidents, but when I reached the Co op I was ushered inside,to see Bindi surrounded by a host of admirers, staff and customers, totally unhurt. Everybody, you were all so kind,to Bindi and to me. A thousand blessings to you all. (By the way,I love the shop too!)

Store is small, don't think they have a night shift to stack shelves,so has to be done during opening hours, vast majority of staff are lovely.

Got most everything you need without trailing to supermarket. Parking can be a problem at times, but a very good local shop with nice staff and free cash point. Which since NatWest have decided to desert its Stoke customers is worth noting.

Good sized local store. Good range of foods and comestibles.

Alright shop to buy top up groceries like milk and bread, quite small layout. Most of the staff are just upfront rude and need better service skills.
K. H.
Ideally located convenience store. Sells most things that the bigger supermarkets sell without the slog to get there. The only downside is the parking.

Good store. Staff looking like your some kind of Troublemaker doesnt make you feel comfortable though
