L. W.It pains me to do this but needs must. I use the this shop 1-2 times a week due to staff I pick up being local. The thing i don’t get is how insincere, inpolite and unfriendly they are to me. You have the older couple and then a younger couple. The younger lady can be ok but when she is off I feel it’s more the day she is having than me. The older lady and gent in particular though act as if I’m a shop thief or have personally insulted them in some way despite not knowing them and priding myself in being polite, respectful and out going. I even made a light hearted joke to him saying “one day I will catch you on a good day” he laughed but didn’t question what I meant. Just now, he shows his friendly side to the locals in the shop... but again not me... literally transitioning to a grumpy state. It really isn’t on. Selection in there is good, prices reasonable in generally, cleanliness ok, fridge not very cold, but service should be more pleasant. Sorry. My review won’t change your business intake, as it’s ofcourse a convienient shop, although when mentioned to my staff she said the same and how she makes the little extra journey over to Tesco Express. Just worth pointing out as no one should be made to feel that way when being a customer, and a happy friendly in that
