Ugo recently catered a private chef experience for my husband’s birthday and it was an incredible experience. His food is incredible, he’s very passionate about delivering a fantastic experience for his diners and a joy to have with us for the evening. Would highly recommend.

Food is fun with the Cornish Italian, thanks to the flamboyance and charm of Ugo and his alter ego, Laura. Their signature tiramisu is like no other: light as a feather, fluffy as a kitten, tastes like mana. Great range of novel pastas (try the wild boar or crab for something different) and pizzas (who knew pureed red cabbage could form such a good base). You can also buy time saving pizza bases and make your own toppings. Look out for their pop up events which are crowd pleasers and sell out so quickly. This hard working, inventive, young couple really deserve support in their desire to bring the pleasure of food to as wide an audience as possible.

Chef Ugo provided catering service for our super rustic wedding reception at our home. He has an amazing can-do attitude and has made our day so special. He has taken care of so many things for us— from sorting out crockery hiring, to saving boxes of pasta for us to enjoy after the guests have gone, to cooking a special pasta for a guest who is both vegan and gluten free immediately after being requested. The service from his team is amazing. The desserts are truly ridiculously good too. We have only heard good feedback from our wedding guests. If he can cook can an exceptional meal for 70 people in our tiny kitchen in the middle of a renovation… he absolutely can do that ANYWHERE! Thank you!!

An experience like no other, Ugo cooked and served an amazing meal for my birthday. Food was beyond wonderful and Ugo is a great character who tells you about each dish. A fantastic night and to top it all the kitchen was spotless when he left.

Absolutely delicious, I was taking bites of the pasta dish between heating it up because it was so good I couldn't stop eating it. Then came some of the best tiramisu I've ever eaten! 10/10 100% would eat from here again and again and again!!

We were given info on booking re the Azure Restaurant. We booked for dinner this evening whilst on our way out to Truro today. Whilst in Truro we saw the Italian Kitchen Stall, the quality, the energy and we we're so pleased that we had booked. . On arrival we were met by a lovely lady called Becky, very gentle yet passionate and professional (quite a balance) she captured it. Becky was an absolute ambassador for Azure and all it stands for, supporting quality local chefs selling their cuisine, locals and holiday makers alike. Hugo came out and chatted and just wow, what a lovely guy! I grew up with a very professional and renowned Italian family of restaurantuers and this guy Hugo! Second to none! Also me being Vegan the options on menu hit all palates whilst staying quality! Fresh, tasty and just sooo good!! Oh. . And... Having been to Italy many times with never quite being able to find a place that can replicate that same unique taste...the Cornish Italian delivers. A wonderful filling lasagne and beautiful tiramisu, all delivered with a smile. Would 100% recommend and will order again. Thank you for a lovely Friday treat with leftovers due to huge portions!

I don't really have anything to add to the other 5 star reviews but to add my voice to them. The food is quite simply delicious. So much so that my last order included extra for the freezer. Simple dishes, beautifully made and then delivered in recyclable packaging. Our first order arrived still warm from cooking and with a smile from Ugo himself. Our second, chilled, via their courier service. Both were wonderful so if you don't live locally I'd still recommend them. My favourite? So hard to decide. But I do always seem to include some salmon ravioli in the order! And the tiramisu is second to none. Highly recommend!

We heard about The Cornish Italian by word of mouth and decided to try it out last week. We ordered the lobster ravioli as well as his famous tiramisu. Both were absolutely delicious, arrived in practical, recyclable boxes with simple instructions as to what to do when you want to reheat it. I just made a simple salad to go with it! It made for a great night out at home and we shall be back for more.

When I read all the amazing Facebook reviews I knew I had to try Tiramisugo! The pessimist in me thought there was no way it could live up to the hype, boy was I wrong. The whole experience was perfect. It was easy to order and delivered promptly with a big smile from Ugo. The second we opened the box, our home was filled with amazing smells that took me straight back to being sat below the Duomo in Florence. I’ve never been a big fan of breadsticks but these were something special. I wanted to skip straight to the Tiramisu because of all the reviews but the pasta is every bit as special as the Tiramisu. We shared a gnocchi and a ravioli and they were absolutely delicious - we were both giggling it was so good!! Need a say more about the Tiramisu, we can’t wait to try the chocolate and rum flavours. The only shame is we didn’t start ordering from Tiramisugo sooner! **Update - we are now several Tiramisugos down the line and everyone has been as perfect as the last**
