5 stars is not for the shop or for the staff as a whole but simply for one member of staff. His name is Sam I believe and he makes my day ( I shop in Waitrose every day). I look forward to seeing him and chatting with him behind the till, his customer service skills are impeccable and he is truest the life and soul of this garage. Thank you Sam !!

Apart from the fact some people choose to do what appears to be half a weeks shopping stopping people from paying for their petrol quickly its a good clean store with a decent range of items.

We were in the area and wanted to fill up the car and grab a picnic lunch, so we were pleased to see the Little Waitrose at a petrol station near Ripley. I left my husband to fill up the car and went in the store to pay for the petrol and buy food. The choice of food was good, Waitrose standard, but there was a bit of a wait at the checkout. By the time I got out my husband had had to move the car due to others wanting to use the pump. Would go there again, as long as we're not in too much of a hurry!

The queue couldn't be helped but it would be a good idea with 2 tills open, 1 should have been for petrol only, not both taking groceries too. I filled our tank while my husband came in to pay to save some time to keep the queue moving then having to wait longer to pay negates all that. Am I being too logical?

Not a REAL Waitrose. Preponderance of junk food with smallish selection of proper Waitrose food. Unlike the Little Waitrose at Ripley which is great. A disappointinh use of the great Waitrose name!

Great little Waitrose, part of Shell fuel station that generally has most fuel types & adblue available. Counter staff are all good, sometimes the security guy needs reminding about face masks and pushy Surrey shoppers won't socially-distance in the relatively narrow aisles, but that's hardly unique to Waitrose or their responsibility.

Its one of the little waitrose chains. You get the important items. Most importantly they have a freezer section for beer bottles (330 ml) and pint cans... You can get cases of those chilled... Quite a handy little shop
