It is a convenient store.You can find many middle Eastern vegetable and food with good price. The reason for deduction of two stars is cleanliness of the store. It is a bit dusty around and always something smells not pleasant.

Great place for everything. It's about the only place in York that sell red chillies. Hot ones!! We buy and freeze them just take them out when we need them!

Prices are bit steep here for grocery items. one of the oldest shop in York with most number of Asian and halal items including halal meat. The meat is also bit pricey but with proper halal certification.

Amazing place. Great variety and excellent service. The selection is vast and the quality of all the food is remarkable. Prices are good, and they constantly have deals. The fruit is in pristine condition, and they even got a butcher with the best lamb in town. If you are looking for spices, they got a comprehensive collection from every country in the world

A grocery store that fits the needs and requirements at normal acceptable standards. Has a wide variety of items but you really have to go there and check it out. I feel like it's a little on the pricey side of compared to Morrisons but overall, never had much problems with the store. The meat sold there is pretty fresh and affordable.

I love this store so much. They stock food and ingredients from places all over the world. The literal best international store in York. The meat is nicely priced, and usually quite fresh and the staff are helpful if you're looking for a cut of meat they don't currently have.

Top place - what can I say apart from - SPICE HEAVEN 😀. The choice of spices - just incredible and the bonus is you get a lot for your money. Unlike the supermarkets, cost a fortune for about a tablespoons worth of produce. Apart from the spices there's so much more. Definitely worth a visit 👍🏼

A rich source of foods, roughly from the eastern Med to the Far East. Lots of good things... but I do wish they had a faster turnover (bbe dates are often very imminent) and I do wish they took more care with price labels on the shelves (or, indeed, on the goods).

I absolutely adore this little shop just out of the city centre, you can find interesting asian/exotic fruits and vegetable that generally regular supermarkets are not supplied with. Tiny shop but packed with surprises.

You will find best of the Indian mashala which I use in Calcutta, India to prepare biriyani, or bengali fish curry. Poppy seed ( পোস্ত), dirrerent daal and basmati rice is also available.
