I have a few knit ties from 40 Colori now - these are far and away the best knit ties I've found. Good materials, high quality construction, and the size fits me quite well. My most recent purchase was a custom tie - I had an idea for a simple pattern, but the customer service team had a few better patterns already in their back pocket that were more intricate and clearly better than what I had considered. The tie came in the anticipated time (and shipping was faster than expected) and is absolutely beautiful. Looking forward to wearing these ties (and the additional ones I'm sure to purchase) for many years to come!

I have recently picked up a made-to-measure suit from 40 Colori, and feel compelled to leave a review such was the positivity of my experience. The level of detail put in to ensure that the fit was perfect, and the customisation options such as lapel width, jacket length, buttoning point, waist height/type, and extensive fabric range, really do make the service above and beyond the typical made-to-measure offering. If you are considering 40 Colori for any of their services, from RTW to MTM, then I could not recommend enough. Not to mention the fact that Cassandre and Gabriele are so friendly, welcoming and helpful.

I had a rust moleskin suit made for my sisters wedding. Cassandre and Gabriele were everything you could hope for - endlessly patient as we worked through all the possibilities, warm and friendly at all times, and always willing to give a helpful nudge in the right direction. And most importantly the suit was absolutely beautiful, all for a very reasonable price. Cannot recommend 40 colori highly enough.

I bought the shirt, tie and socks for my wedding outfit here. I couldn't have found a better place. The owners were polite, attentive, sharp in their advice, and generous — they replaced the buttons on my suit (which I'd bought elsewhere) for free. And the clothes are quite literally the nicest things I've ever worn. Couldn't recommend more highly.

Got my wedding suit made to measure here and I have to say one of the finest tailoring services in London. Gabriele and Cat were so attentive throughout the whole process. They have a vast range of fabrics and were very patient while I ummed and ahhhed over the minutiae - even going the extra mile to source new fabrics to find the perfect shade. I found them to be so much more personable compared to sausage-factory style services like Edit Suits but with equal speed and turnaround times and much less pretentious than saville row, but with equal attention to detail and the same dedication to their craft. The finest example of small independent London retail. Would give 6 stars if I could! Thanks so much guys!

I have now ordered a few made to measure ties from 40 Colori, and the experience of selecting fabric and going over details is exceptional. Gabriele and the rest of the team are willing to answer all questions, and I am very impressed with how they were able to work with me so well despite our communications being limited to email in the midst if this pandemic. Transparency is also very important to 40 Colori and they were able to give me information on major details such as the source of the fabrics as well as minor details such as the type of interlining used for the ties. I will continue to give 40 Colori my business, and so should you!

I had my wedding suit made at 40 Colori, and from start to finish it was a truly excellent experience. Where to begin? Firstly, Gabriele and his colleague are just lovely. They struck the perfect balance in terms of advice - gently guiding the process without being remotely imposing. They spent hours patiently showing me the different options (I was a bit indecisive). The materials are of the absolute highest quality, with an incredible range of textures and tones. The tailoring was executed with phenomenon attention to detail - I really couldn't be happier with the finished product. Real craftsmanship. Plus they worked to a tight deadline and made sure it was all ready in plenty of time for my wedding. It's fair to say I will be pointing anyone who is looking for a suit in the direction of 40 Colori - and I'd encourage anyone reading this to support this excellent small business.

Was looking for higher quality options on nice RTW trousers that were not crazy expensive (300 plus that you'll see at other similar shops like Drakes or Trunk). After finally finding my correct IT size in store, and deciding on which of their two cuts, ordered a moleskin pair w/ turn-ups and there are great. Such a cool place. Beautiful clothes. Unusual cloth and reasonably priced tailoring. Charming service. It's so refreshing that cutting edge style and dress doesn't have to always be about how cool the staff think they are. I experienced this place having a high customer awareness and a wish to help the customer achieve their goals rather than thinking the customer needs the stores makeover. They also have a very friendly and professional customer service, and provide the flexibility to choose from various designs, colours and high quality materials, made in Italy.

I ordered an MTM shawl collar cardigan and the 40 Colori team did a great job with the added difficulty of coordinating the entire process online (I live in a different country). I am extremely pleased with the garment - the fit is excellent for an online MTM and the material (70% merino, 30% cashmere) feels very soft and cosy. I requested a number of customisations to their template (e.g. a larger collar) and they were expertly done. Throughout the entire process the 40 Colori team were just fantastic - probably the best customer service I have ever encountered, always replying to questions (and boy, did I have many) and providing updates. Absolutely recommended!
