Henry Herbert tailor were able to make me a bespoke shirt with very unusual and precise specifications. Other tailors told me it could not be done within the time constraints I had but Henry Herbert had it ready even earlier than necessary. The shirt was top top quality and absolutely brilliant. I cannot thank Alexander at Henry Herbert Tailors enough. Extremely professional and helpful throughout our interactions. A+++

Hi I found myself needing the services of a tailor to make some alterations to my suit trousers bought for my daughters wedding. Through continued exercise and diet I had lost weight and the trousers were consequently too big. As I didnt want to put weight back on... the trousers needed some alteration. A quick search of the area near where I work and found this tailor, a lovely place to visit and Alexander made me very welcome, was helpful and carried out a superb job for me. They make bespoke suits that look great. Thank you Alexander you did a great job and the wedding went well and I received compliments on the suit so ably altered!

I was talking to a friend about needing my wedding suit adjusting, and was recommended to Henry Herbert "to get the job done right". After meeting Alexander and sorting out the adjustments needed, I left it with him. A couple of weeks later I received an email to pop round and collect it, and the fitting was EXACTLY as we agreed. In fact I was so happy, I brought in the old leader jacket my Father wore for 40 years to get the lining replaced, with the intention of passing it on to my daughter as part of her inheritance. And that too came back EXACTLY as we agreed. So to sum up, if you want it done right, go see Alexander, and it will be EXACTLY what you asked for, from relining a jacket to fixing a wedding suit, and making sure your happy. Michael Kelly

I wanted to add to my post as I was so deeply sorry to hear of Charlie's passing. He was an extraordinary man for whom I had much affection and admiration. As an entrepreneur myself I want to support this thriving small business and help to keep the Henry Herbert brand alive and kicking. Alexander, Charlie's right hand man, has bravely picked up the entrepreneurial baton and I am with him to advise and support every step of the way if I can. So PLEASE commission a suit! You won't regret it! And help Charlie's wonderful business thrive in his memory! I have used Charlie and Henry Herbert since 2011 for suits and shirts - They are a passionate small business with great service, great tailoring, great support and always good fun; nothing is too much trouble for these guys. My first bespoke suit and living in the USA the logistics were a bit daunting however Alexander was extremely flexible and even met me at LHR for one fitting. I love my new suit, not extravagantly expensive, beautifully made and wearing it makes me regret the $$$ i have spent on pricey ill-fitting rack suits in the past. I will return to HH for other pieces (travel allowing). Final delivery was by Charlie who was very attentive and concerned that it was just right, highly recommend!

I got my brilliant wedding suit from Henry Herbert’s recently – I want to thank them for saving my wedding after another tailor let me down at the last minute. I was really impressed with the quality of the suit – the service was great as well, they came to my office to take the order and then delivered back to me just in time for my wedding. They also had great attention to detail to make it looked absolutely perfect. The suit is now definitely my favourite and is much better quality than the other bespoke suits I’ve previously bought. He told me all about his company henry herbert which I am sure could never be the same again without him. What a fantastic experience delivered from Charlie and his team from start to finish. Charlie from day 1 was brilliant and couldn’t have done more for me without even asking. His knowledge and pure passion for what they do is unparalleled. To round this review off, I needed another set of buttons for my dinner shirt as I had lost the originals so they ordered the fabric, made them and then personally got on the scooter and dropped them off at my office. I have had tailored suits made for the last 15 years and wish that I had had them done by Henry Herbert from the start (although there is a possibility the tailors were at school then!). Cloth selection is extensive, advice on colours and matching is professional and non-intrusive, materials are top quality. The process, whether in the Saville Row office or at home 'via scooter' is impressive, relaxing, stress free, on time and as discussed. My first three suits arrived three weeks ago and within five weeks as agreed. Since then I have not worn my old suits once. In fact I have just ordered two more suits - hopefully to receive before Xmas. Great service - I fully recommend. 100% ratings with five stars can be no accident!

A beaming smile from Charlie welcomed me into the Henry Herbert shop and all trepidation at entering the bespoke tailoring world dissipated instantaneously. I was guided through the painless process without once being pushed into a decision, but Charlie was always ready to answer any questions, no matter how banal. Some quick tape measure work, 2 fittings and my new morning suit is exquisite. The fine quality of the wool (all British producers) is entirely alien to me and my only problem is the realisation of how utterly terrible my existing off-the-rack work suits are in comparison! If you're at all interested in quality; I urge you to go and try Henry Herbert out.
