I want to say thank you to Ellie here. I needed to shorten my graduation suit trousers at the last minute, Ellie did the job very professionally and quickly. The result was perfect. Thank you to Ellie for doing a beautiful job on alterations for my bridesmaid dress. I was nervous I didn’t have enough time before the wedding for the adjustments I needed made (length and taken in a bit) - but Ellie made it happen with time to spare. Ellie is a very lovely and friendly lady. Her skills are phenomenal, prices are reasonable as well. I had a long dress with layers to be shortern and tighten on the waist with zip, and I needed it in 2 days. Amazingly, she did a very good job and delivered it in a very short time. When I tried on my dress to show her before the alteration, she also gave advice on the parts of the dress where needed to be adjusted in order to fit my body perfectly. Definitely recommend her!

Could not recommend Ellie's services more. I was let down last minute by a tailor in Greenwich Village and needed a seam moved on a bridesmaids dress to turn a non-maternity dress in a bump friendly dress within 3 days. Ellie did an amazing job shortening the sleeves of a raincoat I had bought. It was a complicated job shortening the sleeves from the should so that I could keep all the cuff details, and you really can't tell it's not sewn exactly as when it was made by the manufacturers. She was professional and efficient. I can't recommend her enough.

She completed the alterations in 4 fittings and the dress was completed within a week! I entrusted her with a couple of very old and rather tatty family coats and she did everything necessary to make them fit for another generation, replacing linings, repairing buttonholes, sewing up seams etc. A fantastic job.
