a. b.After following the brand on instagram for a few years, I finally tried their made to measure service to do a pair of trousers and one of their flagship shirt jacket in London.
Gavan did a fantastic job, the cut of the trousers was great, really matching the relaxed tailoring style of the brand that can be dressed up or down, and so was the shirt jacket.
Following this first successful experience, I went back for another pair of trousers and later on had 2 heavy coton suits made, both single and double breasted, as well as a shirt. The cut on all these items has been impeccable and Gavan has been of great advice along the whole process. It’s always a pleasure to go to the shop to chat with him and I couldn’t advice one more to visit the shop, discover their offering and ultimately try it !
A. D.I came across the P Johnson workshop after all the tailors on Jermyn Street told me it would be impossible to get a custom-made suit within 5-6 weeks for my wedding after the lockdown easing.
Not only did they prioritize my order and turned it around within 3-4 weeks (and post-fitting alterations done next day!), they also had by far the best service and flexibility around small details of the suit. Gavan was simply amazing from the point when I walked into the shop with a vague idea of what I wanted, he advised me on fabrics, fit, customizations, and so on. Thanks to him we ended up with a much better option than I had in mind originally and the quality of the tailoring is top notch.

Went into P Johnson after going to all the Savile Row shops, looking for a bespoke tuxedo for my wedding as I'm very tall and slender, nothing off the rack fits. Gavan will walk a novice through everything without judgment, from sizing, pocket style, button style, lapel width and notching, belt loops, pleats, custom embroidery and more, in a cool space that makes customers feel welcome and relaxed. After being measured in London, we picked up our suits from the New York City showroom, and the team there was just as professional and reliable. All through the process (even throughout COVID-19), the P Johnson team was communicative and helpful. I will definitely go back to P Johnson for suits and tailoring in the future.
