Running a mid sized community orchestra we were in dire need of an affordable, reliable and accessible ticketing system. We searched the web for reviews and opinions and ended up selecting Ticket Tailor. As always with these things it's a bit of a gamble - however it has turned out to be one of the best decisions we have made. The system itself is both comprehensive and easy to use. It provides everything we need and can handle events of pretty well any size. The Customisation options for tickets and the actual event page are adequate and not overwhelming. The system provides practical reports of things like graphing of ticket sales by time period, door lists and an app to handle tickets at the door. There is a facility to - at a single click - create reference links to distribute with your various advertising avenues so you can monitor where your ticket purchases are coming in from. There are heaps of nice little touches. The team are VERY receptive to customer input and over the two years we have been using them we have seen several improvements as a result (one of which was suggested by us!). Ticket Tailor is amazing!! I tried two different sites to sell tickets for a fundraising event and they were not nearly as cutting edge or user friendly. Ticket Tailor is has a current UI, is easy to manage as the admin, and super easy for my customers to use to purchase tickets and even make additional donations. I found that their fees are one of the lowest too. I connected mine to Stripe and it makes direct deposits right into my bank account from ticket sales. I had a question and had to reach out to Ticket Tailor and their customer service is just as phenomenal!! They are super responsive and courteous, their help section online is great too. I am VERY happy and will use this for all future events. Using Ticket Tailor has completely changed how I produce and sell my shows! In the past I was just selling tickets on Venmo and PayPal and many of my customers did not feel very comfortable just sending money out without getting some sort of ticket in return. Ticket Tailor suits us, as a relatively small charity, who run an Arts Festival with ticketed events. There is choice of pricing, economic enough for us and better than some options we looked at. The software is straightforward to use. There is some limitation in configurability but nothing that's major for us. There's good data keeping by Ticket Tailor of tickets sold and to whom and a useful 'ticketing app' that you can use from your smartphone to record attendances of clients at the events. Great ticketing platform with no fees per ticket! Low subscription cost (we are a charity so get a 30% discount), easy to use and great support. Great end-user experience too for ticket buyers. You can customize your event page and tickets but the page itself is not as sleek as Universe. However, they have recently updated this and so it's better now. Ticket Tailor is much easier to use and takes a fraction of the time to set up events and sell tickets than our previous platform. It's also better for user experience too.

Ticket Tailor has been a great fit for our nonprofit organization. For our ticketed events, we were able to quickly create event pages, promo codes, embedded widget code, and customize our event perfectly. The short ticketing link makes social media posting a breeze without having to use a link shortener. As a nonprofit, the fee structure is very straightforward and affordable for us based on the tickets sold— we are even able to apply the processing fees to the transactions so the full ticket amount is received! Customer service has been super responsive, and liking multiple payment systems was painless. A feature we haven't used yet but are looking forward to using on the day of the event; their ticket receiving ap! Definitely worth checking out. Being able to incorporate the fees into the ticket purchase is clutch. Before we would lose the transaction fee, the ticket fee, and more, but now that can all be incorporated and passed on to the consumer. That's helpful for a small nonprofit. For improvements, Sometimes the widget doesn't show up on our squarespace page. I'm not sure which system the error exists on. The widget could afford to be more customization, particularly in shape/design/etc. I'm not solid on the donation aspect when not in conjunction with a ticket purchase-- does it work? Unfortunately I haven't been able to devote the time to figuring this out.

We get the charity discount with Ticket Tailor and Stripe and only pay for the months we are actually selling tickets - that means it works out much better for us than all the other platforms we looked at who take a percentage of the ticket price. The functionality is also great - we can customise the checkout process easily to ask for menu choices, allergies, attendee names etc etc. Our parents love the ease of paying online and we have definitely sold more tickets as a result. Ticket Tailor are an extremely affordable and stable online management system for selling and recording sales of tickets for your events. We have used the online system for 5 years and their services have improved year on year with our requirements of single events to multiple events. Their customer service is great - they listen and try to resolve any problems or requirements. Their system can be used as stand-alone and/or integrates fully with your website and social media customer touch points. Set up of your own box office is relatively easy, but it easier still if you spend time writing all or marketing information and promotional pictures before you log in. Then have everything ready to copy and paste and upload the images. However, you can save your event pages as drafts to return to later, or update at any time. You can set up different methods of payment to suit your requirements and can design the interface to match your brand. Once set up your box office becomes fully automated, so you can check in to your dash board as frequently or infrequently as you wish and check sales and data as you wish. They have an app you can download to your smartphone to be used for checking in, which saves on buying or hiring in barcode scanners and gives great data and feedback on attendance for future events.

I would highly recommend Ticket Taylor for any promoter looking to sell tickets. The platform is very good and very easy to set up but the best thing and unique part is that you can keep your own booking fee. That can add up to hundreds of pounds in extra revenue if you are selling well. The other great thing I love is that as you decide the booking fee yourself which i normally set at £1 on top of ticket price the booking fee is usually cheaper than other ticket outlets that charge a percentage and some also charge a transaction fee so you are actually saving the customers money as well as making more for yourself - its a win win situation. It's fantastic that the event listing and booking form are both customisable, in look and feel, and in asking particular questions if required. We usually embed a booking form straight into a Wordpress website, which makes it a single page booking solution and have rarely had any customer issues. It also really helps to build a mailing list for each event as you go with the Mailchimp integration. Brilliant! The only downfall is that when we opted to use our tablets to sign in tickets at the door with their scanning app, it was pretty slow and painful, so we've reverted to using a checklist at entry, which for us works fine.
