My son left his coat out and his naughty dog decided that he was going to chew one of the cuffs of his jacket. I brought in a Stone Island Crinkle Reps down jacket to be repaired. The jacket had a large tear and a burn mark on one of the arms. Repaired two givenchy t-shirts of mine which had holes from the embroidered stars. These were all repaired to an excellent standard. I was recommended these guys by Stone Island and I am so very glad that they did. They did the most amazing job on my son's coat, which was brand new and had a small tear in the middle of the back. When I took it into their studio, they really took their time over deciding how to fix the tear in the best way. I left knowing that this was going to be a very tricky job and will take up to 3 weeks. The twins then followed up with an email, telling me that they had decided to go a different route with the coat and that it would take a lot longer because they were practically remaking the whole coat just to turn the coat inside out to hide the tear. They stuck to their original quote, which in itself was amazing and managed to get the coat done well within the 3 weeks. I was so impressed with the end result, the jacket looks as good as new. I am thrilled to have found a pair of fabulous tailors. I can't recommend them highly enough.

I have a much loved Belstaff Trailmaster on which the zip broke. On the recommendation of Belstaff UK I sent it to Pinnas and Needles. I posted it Special Delivery. This was on a Thursday. I received my jacket back the following Tuesday. Five days is pretty impressive! I needed a repair done to my C.P. Company Mille Miglia jacket. The C.P. Company store in London recommended Pinnas and Needles, so I was confident they would do a good job. After discussing the job via email with Pio and Francesco, we agreed on the work and the price. The repair was completed quickly and posted back to me. The twins have done an excellent job. They managed to source replacement parts and the repair is not noticeable at all. Highly recommended. Thanks again guys.

These gentlemen are just amazing. So friendly and committed. I went in with a dress with a very specific fabric that needed altering and they always walked me through everything they were going to do. I managed to find the fabric online and bought it myself and they very happily reduced the price. They are quick to reply on emails and even offered to keep their shop open later than they were expected too as I couldn't make it there in time. I couldn't recommend more!

They are able to pull-off even the most difficult suit alterations, e.g. the pitch of a jacket or protruding shoulder blades. Additionally, they take enough time during the consultation, carefully assess the fit, listen to your concerns, and the communication overall is excellent. I have been very impressed so far. More expensive and higher turnaround times than other tailors, though the quality is next to none.

I brought an old, heavily worn jacket into the Pinnas twins’ shop. They identified the areas of wear and were very informative and cooperative about the process of repairing the jacket. They fixed the cuffs extremely cleanly and more impressively, replaced a brassard on the jacket, replicating exactly the way it was originally but with brand new materials. On close inspection I can’t spot one flaw in their handiwork. The twins are extremely kind, knowledgable and skilled. Excellent for bespoke alterations. Not cheap, but worth the money. They are lovely guys and the quality of work is very high. My first time getting a suit altered and they made sure I was happy with everything before going ahead. The twins Pio and Francesco were absolutely brilliant. Helpful, enthusiastic and clearly knew what needed to be done with my Belstaff leather jacket. I felt totally reassured. Within half an hour I had visited their store, been fitted, measured up and left feeling delighted with the service. Within 10 days I received an email from Francesco telling me that my jacket was finished and was on its way back to me in Scotland. It arrived the next day. I have to say, it looks absolutely amazing and whilst it fits to perfection, you cannot tell that it’s been altered in anyway. It looks as good as the day we purchased it and probably fits better too. I wish to thank the twists for the advice and, more importantly highlight the fantastic work undertaken by Pio & Francesco. Simply the best in London... I was using another tailor who let me down a couple of times so I decided to call the twins for an appointment. I first brought a double breasted jacket in VBC cotton which only needed a small collar gap fix after a previous poor alterations at the other tailor. I let them inspect the jacket and without telling them anything they directly noticed something wrong, which was also bothering me, the lining had not been resized by the other tailor after taking in side seam and center back quite a bit ( i have a drop 9). At that moment I knew that I could have complete trust in their skills given the attention to detail that they demonstrated for the first appointment. Second garment was a 3 pieces suit from Timothy Everest which they literally transformed as per my indications. I liked this suit but I wanted to have an italian flair to it and a less armor style of the english tailoring. We therefore agreed to remove some shoulder padding, shorten the jacket but keep a good balance on the button stance and pockets and also open the quarters (not as open as the florentine style but still much more than it was). They did an amazing job ! They altered 6 other sport coats or suits for me with always the same level of skills and attention to detail. Oh and yes...they are also super friendly, they know your taste, your style,....you feel very welcome and looked after even when the workshop is busy. One last thing guys...sadly I had to leave UK two years ago and I haven’t found a tailor who I can completely trust...I hope to see you soon with bags full of suits and jackets...believe it or not, the tags are still there as I am scared to bring them somewhere else :)

Really, really, really good. Had 5 suits for my ushers and myself tailored. The guys worked magic (even made a 32 waist trouser fit a 36-38 for an usher who was a little generous with the truth about his measurements). All fitted like a glove, prices are what you would expect from such a professional and expert service, but that being said I thought they were very fair. Very friendly and nothing is too much trouble. I will be back.

Amazing alternations at reasonable prices. My go-to for alterations of any garments. For my wax cotton jackets I will not go anywhere else but here for any repairs and alterations.

Had a pair of Iron Heart 666S -18 tapered. These jeans are a super heavy denim and have to be done on a special chain stitch machine because they need to re do the hem aswell. They used the original thread for the tapering and jeans look amazing and the fit is now superb. I have my fav denim looking perfect. Superb job and service. Would highly recommend these guys to any raw denim fan who needs an alteration done properly.

I have had three items altered by them - the sleeves of a bespoke jacket, the seat of a bespoke pair of trousers and the body of an RTW Neopolitan-style jacket. Well, i used to visit the site many years ago when an old Greek boy used to be there, can't remember his name! Then one day i purchased a pair of jeans that needed doing so on my way back to work i walked up the stairs and knocked on the door and to my surprise these 2 guys opened the door and introduced themselves to me, that was 3 years ago. I've never looked back since, whatever alterations i've asked for(Jeans Coat Jacket etc) they have always delivered and then some. Their work is fantastic and i would not hesitate in recommending them. These guys work hard and i love them both. Umberto.

In Kenneth Clark's 'Civilisation,' opening dialogue, he talks about the "book of their deeds, the book of their words, and the book of their art" he goes on to say that "of the three, the only trustworthy one is the last." Clothes are the outward signs of civilisation. They are in effect walking art or architecture, and Pinnas & Needles are sculptors in fabric, at the top of their game. Credit should properly be shared with the wonderful & mysterious sorcerers' apprentices behind the scenes. I don't know how they do it, but they do it time and time again. Miracles in fabric are manifested and manifested once more. I can't recommend Pinnas & Needles highly enough. Quite simply they are THE BEST at something which is much more important than is commonly perceived.
