There are about 50 zips in each of my bags… (only opened 2 so far)… but there are metal zips, standard zips, open-ended zips and even a few concealed zips!!!! And so many different colours! Got this bias maker at William Gee London. Lovely little place if you fancy quick items for any sewing or craft project. They sell threads, zippers, lining, interfaces and some quirky unusual sewing supplies. Feel free to pop in there if your a crafts person. Also I must add that they have good customer service. I forgot my bag of groceries there and when I went back to get it they had put it in the fridge. How nice and thoughtful.

I feel privileged & fortunate to live within a short walk of this old established gem. Old & iconic they may be but always bang up to date with their their merchandise!

One item was missed from the order but that was dealt with and resolved very speedily. I have no hesitation in recommending this business and I will certainly be back!

William Gee was the only place I could find that would supply thread on-line. They also have a good range of other haberdashery items, and stocked elastic when most other outlets had run out. When one item (a marking pencil) was faulty, I emailed in to let them know and within a couple of hours had a reply and the replacement was delivered the following day. This was mid-lockdown when all haberdashers are very busy and much quicker than other outlets. They are now the first place I’ll look to order any haberdashery.

Quick and easy to order and arrived quickly. The only thing I would say wasn't great was that I didn't receive an email to say my order had been dispatched and when it would be arriving. Incredible sewing and craft shop, reminds me of long established sewing shops in Manchester growing up in the 80s. It's not a massive shop but they have everything you could ever want at very competitive prices. I also love their bargain bundles and bags.Staff are incredibly friendly and helpful too. I have done both click and collect online and bought from the shop in person, both great experiences but if you're easily tempted I advise the former option.

Made a special trip for tailoring supplies. I got there 20mins before closing. The staff couldn't have been more helpful. They were polite and friendly, considering they were about to close up. The guys in the warehouse were equally as pleasant.
