I came into the store as I needed my suit altered as it was a little too big on me. The service I received was 5 star as the staff are very friendly and very professional. My suit was altered to perfection and fits me perfect. Just to add to this my suit was ready on time,well even few days earlier and I was given some good advice. Definitely worth the money.

I had two jackets adjusted and both were expertly done by Susan. One was supposedly tailor made elsewhere but needed some serious adjustments which were all done for a very reasonable price. I had lost some weight by the time I returned and some further adjustments were made at no additional cost. The other blazer required some strengthening to the seam in the back which again was done with care and precision. Great service, highly recommended. I will be back.

Michelle and her team are perfectionists at a reasonable price. A good example is shortening jacket sleeves by taking them up at the shoulder rather than lopping them off at the cuff which spoils the positioning of the buttons. Others won't attempt taking the sleeves in, saying it can't be done. Isaac Walton do it and do it perfectly.

I have visited Isaac Walton three times in the past year for alterations to two suits, two jackets and three pairs of trousers. Each time Susan has gone the extra mile to ensure a quick turnaround (a wedding saved!) delivering ahead of schedule with excellent tailoring and attention to detail. Just visited for a suit alteration after trying many other alterations specialists that were unable or unwilling to make the changes I needed to a suit jacket where the sleeves are too long which requires button holes being moved on the sleeve. They were friendly helpful and knowledgeable so very happy with them so far. Just been back to collect suit and it's a fantastic job they've done so very happy.

I was in Edinburgh in Scotland I went into a second hand clothing shop, I purchased a second hand vest made by Isaac Walton. It was an old long vest. I looked up the brand name hence I was asked for a review. My review is this go to Edinburgh in Scotland, go the and check out the second hand shops. Good quality second hand Scottish made and UK made clothing is available at a reasonable price. You know it will last. Edinburgh is a great place to visit. Lots of great pubs etc.

Susan is a darling. Despite reading negative reviews on Google for Isaac Walton, I came into the store asking for an alteration on a pair of trousers and I was greeted in a very warm and welcoming manner by Susan. She took her time to listen to what I wanted done and gave advice on what could work and what couldn’t. The following week, I have the finished product right before me and it looks exactly as I expected - very well executed and professional.

I came here with a skirt two sizes too big for alteration. The staff are so welcoming and kind, extremely understanding for fitting appointment times. I travelled from middlesbrough and I can defiently say a worthwhile investment. The seamstress did a fantastic job. There is no signs of any alteration being done as if it was made that way to start. The skirt is the most perfect fit, Not too tight or too big. I would recommend this tailors to anyone and everyone.

Two years ago I had a tailored Barbour tweed jacket altered by a business in Hexham to reduce the size after I lost weight. Since then it didn't hang correctly but I was told it couldn't be improved upon. Before giving up on it I decided to try Isaac Walton to see what they thought. It turned out the Hexham alteration was sheer butchery but they managed to salvage it and now it hangs beautifully. They also reduced a wax jacket for me. Super job done on both items - really happy customer and happy to recommend unconditionally.

the lady who has posted the owner is rude and racist could not be any further from the truth..A...you repeatedly called a staff member at 6pm on saturday when the shop was closed wanting to bring your dress in and wanted me to go back to the shop to open it just for you..B you then expected to bring the dress in on tuesday and want it back wednesday,when you were told it had to have beem brought in the tuesday of that week which you did not...C you then text me on the saturday at 6,30 and asked if you could bring it in and have your mam collect it..i replied when would you want to collect it...you replied whenever..i replied back to you that you had to be in the shop before 1,30 today as i finish at 2pm and have to be on a metro back to sunderland to pick my 7 year old up from school...you strolled into the shop at 1,53 and expected me to wait while you tried the dress on for me to pin...i then told you that you were too late you replied..well is there only you works here...yes their is only myself that does any pinning necessary..you were rude the first time you came in also and on the phone..no respect and talk down to people..you then continued with a raised voice also insults and i can honestly say i have never came across anyone so rude.....if your going to leave a review atleast post the truth....and the one thing we are not is RACIST.......and the alex wills remark must be a friend as that never happened as last week their was a sign in the shop door for any customers to ring my mobile and i would come upto the shop floor and let people in..i had customers for collection and fit ons and suits and trousers were left and i can assure you i have alot of regular customers and i am far from rude to anybody....and as for the company being racist..this is from your own personal facebook page....you seem confused on the matter of who is the racist.........Hannah Uguru shared Lee Pod's post. 27 March · Some idiot on my newsfeed thought that it was a good idea to share this, just wanted to take this as an opportunity to let you all know that white men are actually the biggest terror threat to the western world...
