I have been going here for 15 years wouldn’t get pierced anywhere else. Very clean and professional. I’m always a bit nervous getting pierced but Stu is so welcoming and friendly that he calms me down every time and makes me feel at home. Nathan on the desk is very welcoming and friendly also.

Got daith and nose piercing today. Stu was absolutely fantastic. Told him I was nervous and he put me to ease. Chatted away and was so friendly. Stu was very professional and talked through everything he was doing. His working area was pristine and sterile. Covid guidelines were put in place and adhered to. My friend got the forward helix and she really suits it. She has all her piercings done by Stu and wouldn't go anywhere else. Thank you for a brilliant 1st experience.

Booked an appointment through Facebook and I think it was Nathan who I was dealing with, super efficient, was able to book and pay deposit online. Went into the shop then on Saturday and the guy at the counter was super friendly and helpful, took me through health forms, helped me pick jewellery etc. Plenty of Covid safe precautions, obvious sanitising practices. The piercer was lovely too, very professional, talked through placement and aftercare and showed me the new sealed jewellery and needles we were using. Put me at ease and distracted me well from the little pinches! Very pleased with results and would definitely go back for more next time.

I have been using Otherside for 14 years, and in that time I have never considered using another shop. Stu has been piercing longer than anyone in Belfast and is a trusted source of information should I have any questions or concerns, and his professionalism when performing procedures is second to none. He also carries jewellery that isn't available in much of the UK mainland never mind Northern Ireland. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend the services of Stu and the Otherside team.

This is probably the easiest 5 star review I've ever given, quite simply, I'd recommend Otherside to anyone (and actively do). Stu's high standards are evident throughout; whether it be through his knowledge of his craft, the cleanliness and atmosphere in the salon or his amazing aftercare, you would really struggle to find a service like it anywhere else. I've had 9 piercings done by him over the last 10 years and I honestly wouldn't consider going elsewhere. I've also had several aftercare issues (of my own doing) which meant I had to return to Stu on several occasions, and not once was I ever made to feel like this was a bother or too much hassle, as Stu is friendly, honest and professional throughout. If you want a piercing done, this is the only place you want to be going.

I have been a customer of Stu for over 10 years now I believe and would never go anywhere else for a piercing. I have had extensive work done by him over these years, and no matter what the procedure is he always manages to keep you relaxed and at ease, and is always open to any queries you may have post procedure. It is obvious when you talk to him that he is an expert in his field, a level of expertise you won't be able to find elsewhere. The studio is comfortable and kept to the highest levels of hygiene, staff are professional and friendly. I would always recommend the Otherside for piercings and new jewellery , the same as anyone else I know who is a customer.

I cannot begin to express just how impressed I am with this place! Start to finish, this is (by FAR) THE cleanest, most professional, very appropriately priced, comfortable, and incredible business I've patronized for this sort of thing...and I've a body full of metal that I've been working on since the 80's. Stu is not only, quite possibly, the greatest piercer I've met, but he is genuinely a very nice, non-pretentious, knowledgeable, professional, and skilled person! I cannot say enough great stuff about this place! Getting my piercings and meeting these people have been a true highlight to my trip! Whether you live in the Belfast area or are visiting and interested in getting a piercing, do yourself a favor and go here!

Stu is incredibly hygienic and safe. He will show you all the tools in the medical grade packaging before hand to show he is using brand new, sterile equipment. He is also just a really great guy, friendly and talkative. Desk staff are very much by the book, as they have to be, and really know their stuff about the procedures right down to the fun stuff like the right jewellery for you piercing etc. Always go to Stu for my piercings and recommend everyone I know do the same thing.

Hands down the best piercing studio in Belfast. I've had about 10 piercings done here and have been going for years, I wouldn't let anyone else pierce me. Stu has always been professional and friendly and clearly has a real passion for what he does. The studio is always immaculate and great care is always taken to keep a sterile environment. When I brought my mother to get her lip pierced she couldn't believe how clean and stylish it was. A lot of my friends are also heavily pierced, and everyone I know who has been to Otherside shares my love of this studio. I couldn't possibly give Stu and Otherside a review that would do them justice, 10/10.

Conflicting views - had a piercing done here before which was good. However today after struggling into the store with a pram whilst no worker or customer offered to help, I was told very bluntly and unpleasantly - "no kids allowed in the store". I don't know what the laws are or whatever, but I feel if my pushing a pram into the store (despite my son having been there on a previous occasion) was an issue, there surely was a much more polite and professional way to do it. I'm not doubting his ability to pierce people, but I certainly wasn't impressed with the treatment I received today.

Was in yesterday evening for a Tragus piercing. Very clean and the staff where helpful and friendly and take you through the whole procedure showing you everything is sterile and in the packet. would definitely recommend to anyone thinking about a piercing 10/10

Really clean and clinical looking shop which appealed to me, great selection of piercings and studs etc.... i wasnt rushed to make a decision when i was being indecisive. The guy went over health questions with me and was pretty thorough which was good. When i went through the back the guy used my first name which i liked gave it the personel touched even though he didnt know me from adam!! Made sure i was ok after piercing completed, gave me leaflet away incase of any reactions etc.. would highly recommend these guys very professional!! 💜

Recently got my cheeks pierced by Stu which went amazingly! I heard a lot of horror stories about how difficult cheek piercings are and how painful they are to get pierced but I was put at ease and as always, completely pleased with the cleanliness and professionalism Otherside provides! Stuart is one of the most dead on guys in belfast, he will make you feel comfortable and talk you thru or answer questions you need to know about what you want done. You pay first and come back at your appointed time which is good so theres no time wasters. Shop is always spotless and clean. Off course you are shown that the instruments and needles are clean before use. Would go here every time.

Side lip piercing. No appointment needed on a Thursday tea time. Very professional from start to finish. Everything explained clearly and staff very friendly. In short, for a first piercing I couldn't fault the place or staff at all. Clean as you could hope for too

My brother passed recently, I went to a seance and the woman performing it told me that my brother would be speaking to me from 'The other side'. I immediately stormed out and got 2 trains and a taxi to Belfast. I reached 'The Other Side' piercing studio. I looked around for my brother and never found him. However the person working there suggested I get my bridge pierced. It looks rad! 10/10 would go again!

Went in for a tounge piercing and was very nervous they calmed my nerves right down. Made sure it's want I really wanted. They are so plesent and I would definitely go back. Everyone I know who has a tounge piercing theirs got infected but mine didn't I also referred those people to go because they obviously have high standards :)
