Such an amazing experience with Ivy. The tattoo is incredibly meaningful and special to me. Ivy made me feel very comfortable, super friendly and we had lovely funny chats! Fully fully recommend. First time experiencing the hand-poke method and it was really special. Tattoo is better than I imagined! So happy :)

Ivy was amazing at putting my nerves at ease, explained every step of the process, and was patient while helping me figure out the perfect positioning of the tattoo! As soon as I walked into the studio I was greeted with a calming, friendly atmosphere and made to feel really comfortable. The design was everything I wanted and more. Absolutely amazing experience, first hand-poked tattoo. Ivy was so friendly and welcoming, made me feel extremely comfortable, especially when discussing tattoo placement and design, and payed close attention to details. Very little pain during and after. I would definitely recommend going there. I would also recommend getting their tattoo after-care cream, it smells of bubble gum and goes on smoothly. Can't thank Ivy enough for such a great experience, I would 100% go back.

I had my very first hand poke tattoo at KTREW and it was an absolutely amazing experience. Ivy is extremely talented and dedicated to creating the most detailed and tasteful tattoos. Her friendliness put my nerves at ease immediately after I arrived and she made sure I felt comfortable throughout the process. She also talked me through the different steps and answered every single question I had - even the silly ones! Needless to say, I am absolutely chuffed with the results! Wow. From the second we walked in these ladies were professional, kind, comforting and knew exactly what they were doing. Covid protocols were still in place and I’ve never seen anywhere cleaner ! This was my first tattoo and I had it hand poked by Ivy. Ivy is an absolute angel, I was very anxious and she talked me through everything step by step and showed me the different designs she had drawn up. We discussed placement and size so that the tattoo still looks good with time and doesn’t turn in to a blob ! Ivy then did the stencil and redid it until she was 100% happy, no rushing to get me done and out. A few minutes in to the tattoo I took a funny turn and both Ivy and Kirstie hyped me up, gave me stress balls, and really helped me to feel better about the whole situation. They let me take a nice long break to have some sugar and didn’t try to rush me at all. These ladies clearly love their jobs a lot and take them very seriously ! I’m absolutely in love with my finished tattoo and I’m already planning my second one, can’t wait to see you both again xxx

Ivy tattooed my she was a lovely lady and very nice made me feel very comfortable. When first walking in due to covid she a sanitising station that was wonderfully signed an easy to use. The studio was small and personalised. Music was playing. The area was clean and sanitised. She did all the things I would expect a fantastic tattoo artist to do. (Consent form, checking the tattoo, checking ID, keeping a sanitary area) I was put to eases and felt very comfortable. During the tattoo Ivy let me know when we started, the Actual tattoo was pain less. I got a stick and poke tattoo, and in my head I thought it was going to be painful. If you are looking to get a sick and poke tattoo please book Ivy. She is extremely talented, very reasonably priced, we had a great geeky conversation. She was just lovely. I don't think I even have the words to explain how good of a tattoo studio KTREW is. I came here yesterday to get a half sleeve done and Kirstie and Ivy were so welcoming. My tattoo came out perfectly and I'm so happy! All emails were replied to promptly. I was clued in every step to my tattoo; from the planning over email to adjusting the stencil on the day. I'm just so happy with everything. The service was fantastic, the tattoo came out perfect, they were great to talk to as well while I was getting tattooed. If you want to have tattoo artists care about you and the art you're going to have on your body, I definitely recommend coming here. I can't believe how happy they, and the tattoo has made me!

I had my first ever tattoos done today at KTREW - it was a fantastic experience, and I cannot recommend them enough to anyone looking to get a tattoo! The process was great from start to finish. The initial emails were informative, well structured, and gave me a clear idea of the process and exactly what I'd be getting. They were also very happy to answer all of my initial questions. On the day, Kirstie & Ivy were both really welcoming, and the very cool, chilled out vibe of the studio relaxed me within minutes. Kirstie had created some beautiful designs based on references that I sent in my initial emails, and she was great at working with me to tweak them and achieve exactly what I wanted. Kirstie & Ivy also ensured that the placement was perfect, and this attention to detail from both of them meant the tattoos turned out as great as they did. Kirstie made me feel very comfortable with the tattooing process, and I knew that I could stop and take it at my own pace if I felt I needed a break. While being tattooed, the vibe of the studio meant I felt relaxed despite the pain, and Kirstie was really good fun to chat to. The result was even better than I had imagined - I love my tattoos! After the process had concluded, the aftercare was explained really well and an email was sent to remind me of the aftercare steps. Thanks to this, I feel confident that I'll be able to look after my new tattoos and ensure they remain looking as cool as they do now. Thanks Kirstie & Ivy. :)

Not only was the studio clean, beautiful and comfortable, the Covid-19 protocols being in place made me feel really safe! Kirstie was an absolute pleasure from start to finish - turning my idea (an illustration from the book Stellaluna, combined with a Cancer constellation) into the most beautiful work of art that I get to wear forever! I had my tattoo done by Ivy and it was a really good experience for me! Right from the inquiry process, she’s been very accommodating and catered to my requests for the tattoo design I wanted. Their instructions on the email were also very detailed, so I knew what to expect on the day of my appointment. On the day of my appointment, I immediately noticed how they really value the safety of the tattooist and the customers! There were a lot of safety precautions in place which is really important because of Covid. I felt comfortable with their place and with Ivy - who I felt like I’ve known for years because of our conversations 🙈 It was my first time getting a hand-poked tatt and Ivy briefed me as to how the process would go. Ivy gave me two options for the design that I wanted and also gave her inputs to help me decide 😂 She was really careful and would always make sure that I was comfortable since I was lying on my front the whole time. She made sure we had breaks so I cant stretch a bit. The tatt process hurt much less than I expected, and Ivy’s hand was very light so I really didnt feel too much pain! The final look of the tattoo was really good and so much better than I expected! Even though it was hand-poked, the lines were seamless and the tatt design was exactly what I wanted! The after care instructions were also explained thoroughly and they even sent me a reminder 🙈 My overall experience with KTREW was really nice! Ivy and Kirstie are both amazing and I was happy to have met them both. Felt like I got way more than what I paid for. Thanks again!!!

My hand poked tattoo is nothing short of beautiful. But the process was also incredible. Getting a hand poked tattoo is considerably less painful than an electric needle tattoo. In fact I would go as far to say there was absolutely zero pain however I did have my tattoo on my forearm so bare that in mind if you get one on a different part of the body Ivy the artist was an absolute delight to be with from start to finish! The studio was clean, tidy and was Covid 19 secure - sanitising stations throughout the studio, disinfectant everywhere and masks provided. Probably the best tattoo experience I've had yet and wholeheartedly recommend to anyone seeking a delicate, detailed design. Thank you Ivy! X
