I have come here for all of my tattoos. Staff are very funny and friendly. Clearly a very nice work environment; very clean; professional; great for after care advice; different artists with different styles and over all great. The studio is very easy to get hold of and quick and easy to get a booking. They also now do piercings which is great. Definitely recommend 🙂

I had such a great experience at Gun & Pedal. I had a session with the incredible Anna, she was so patient and kind taking her time with the freehand stencil making sure it was perfect. Came as a walk in and was seen right away. The artist Josh who did my first two tattoos was more than friendly and is incredibly talented. Both goes for the other artists too, the latter I gathered from looking around at their works on the walls whilst having mine done and also seeing their finished outcomes from the customers they had in at the same time as I. Felt very welcome as soon as I stepped in, will certainly be back for my next one 100%! Very professional indeed, aftercare was explained very clearly, everything was more than top notch to summarise, it's very safe to say I'm very glad with the outcome, the travel from Southampton to Brighton was 100% worth it! I went here today to get my first ever tattoo done by Liam, he was super welcoming and made me feel comfortable straight away which really helped calm my nerves. Very professional how everything was handled, was passed onto an artist that worked there but recommended I should have Becci that also works there, do my tattoo. Though Becci didn’t send photos of the finalised design a couple days before hand as promised I had full trust in Becci’s work and was amazed to see the final product. Wrapped me up between each part of the tattoo process, constantly made sure that it was clean and made sure I was doing fine throughout the tattoo (had barely any pain) overall an amazing experience for a first tattoo and will be going there again in the future!!

I done lots of extensive research and had heard only amazing things about this shop before finally making the big leap into the world of tattoo and getting my first piece! I Was made to feel extremely welcome upon arrival from Andrew the owner and he’s team which settled my nerves almost instantly. The place was extremely clean which was reassuring having heard some real horror story’s in the past about other shops. The whole experience was far more comfortable then I expected and the pain was no where as near as bad I was worried about ( small bird on my wrist ). I’ve just had my tattoo done by Liam. I can’t express enough how talented this young man is. I approached him on Instagram with an idea and after numerous conversations and pictures - with the upmost understanding and patients, Liam somehow created something so beautiful with everything I had asked for down to every tiny detail! Fine lines, shading, dot work. I also think something really important to add is that this tattoo took 6.5 hours and it was virtually pain free. I don’t know how he does it but Liam is so gentle. Not only was the experience of the tattoo amazing, previous tattoos have been quite painful healing and this one has sank into my skin like it was always meant to be there. This tattoo has made me question any other tattoo I’ve had as the entire process from start to finish has been amazing. Liams artistry and skill along with his manor and general Ora is a delight. I am honoured to have his art on my body. Thanks Liam!

Whilst having my tattoo's everyone has been talkative and you can have a right laugh. I followed Liam from a Surrey Tattoo shop down to Gun and Pedal. This is because I have been happy with his work and how detailed he is with my tattoo's. His work is amazing and is a fantastic tattooist. The best tattoo shop in Brighton! First came here beginning of the year when I saw James’ flash designs. I was so happy with the results, so much so, that I came back for a further two tattoos. These tattoos were cover-ups of a different artists work and James was so up for playing around with ideas and making sure I was happy with the final design. I am so happy with my tattoos and can’t wait to go back and get more. I recommend Gun and Pedal to all of my friends! Th shop is super welcoming and The Owner, Andy is a friendly face on the front desk. I can’t fault their covid procedure either, hand sanitizer is provided as well as artists and clients wearing masks. They also implement track and trace as another way to make you feel safe and secure. I can’t thank Andy and The Team enough!

I had 4 full days with Liam for 2 pieces, a half sleeve and a realism thigh piece and they look soo good, and he was as gentle as possible and also super friendly (even after I was sick during the 1st session). Becci was super friendly aswell when she did a dumbo piece for me before I left for uni. They are all super friendly and professional and the work from artists there is incredible. Honestly the best experience I've had being tattoed. I did a walk in with my friend on the day, we were greeted really nicely, James the apprentice took his time with us talking through designs and was very professional throughout. I am remarkably impressed with the quality of the art I got for a walk-in, James put his own illustrative style on it, was really patient and kind when it was painful and explained the aftercare well. The atmosphere was awesome, the team all get on really well and are encouraging to eachother and we got to see Liam tat another customer, and his work was out-standing. Wish I could give 6 stars! We were on a hen party and rang on the off chance we could walk in for tattoos, amazingly they had space so we went down. 7 of us got tattoos and the guys could not have been nicer from the moment we walked in the door. So extremely accommodating and the friendliest people. I love my little tattoo and would highly recommend a visit here!!

First tatttoo, got two here in one day! Five hours work and two excellent tattoo's by Black Philip, really so impressed with his work. Had a fair few people say how good the tattoos are, even mentioned from someone else at another tattoo studio! Really cool place to spend the day, all the staff are friendly and very cool to see lots of other people getting tattoo's there.
