T. 9.I went to Blue Banana last year in November with my boyfriend to get a helix piercing for myself. I was very nervous because I already knew that this piercing is one of the more painful ones. The male piercer really put me at ease and made me feel very welcome. He was very professional and the piercing process was over within seconds. I. I.Very very professional and this shop never fails to provide comfort when you need it the most. I would also recommend buying your own after care as it’s cheaper. A simple sea salt and warm water would do the job. Btw if you like a quick procedure this shop is for you and it’s just as fast as the covid vaccination process. Good luck for those getting a piercing with them. THE BEST SHOP IN CARDIFF.
J. H.Considering how busy they are, they're all super lovely and if you get there early enough you don't have to wait long in the grand scheme of things. Very knowledgeable and take the time to get everything right. They use needles instead of guns, which is the main reason I went here. Would definitely recommend and I plan to return myself.

W.OH MY DAYS... This shop is literally the best shop. I have ever been to.. The clothes are awesome... Sooooo many cool alternative clothing.. I could have bought the whole shop.. Loved it there.. Also my daughter who is now getting into alternative stuff loved it too.. Some stuff is a bit pricey.. BUT in saying that.. Its good brands.. Hell bunny etc... So it's to be expected... All the staff were kind and the person that pierced my ears was so kind and made sure my piercing was even and explained everything and it barely hurt. The girls at blue banana are so welcoming & just lovely, it’s like popping in to see friends but at the same time super professional. Everything was explained to me clearly & great measures in place for the current times with a one way system & the staff would always make sure that customers were keeping appropriate social distancing.
I wouldn’t go anywhere else now for a piercing, although they were right in saying it gets addictive as even after the four I had today I can’t wait for my next one. I really can’t fault it here!

This was a very enjoyable experience, the staff and piercer were so kind and welcoming! They will answer any questions you have too.

The lovely woman who served me at the till was so kind, made me feel welcome and chilled me out by her friendly reassurance. Also Liv (piercer) was very professional and chatty which helped a lot!! I.Honestly the staff is amazing, lovely and they always help me if I want to change something or have random enquiries. I did have one piercing done here (tragus) and it got really badly swollen i came back after 3 months to change it because the other piercer couldn't take it out and they told me I should wait one more month which I did but came back as soon as the month was up because it was not getting better so they changed it for free, and immediately I went to the other piercer to get my other ear done and he remembered me and gave me a solution for the new piercings and told me to use it on the swollen one as well and let me tell you I have used it not for a week it got better.
Maybe the mix of salt and tea tree oil for after care wasn't good at blue banana's.. 😕

C. M.Almost always prompt service and the staff is always friendly, and seem to remember "regulars" which is a nice personal touch. In addition to piercings they offer a neat selection of chlotes, accessories, and hair dye.
Having had multiple piercings (nose, nipples, surface piercing (with a staple bar)) I can definitely say its a very clean, calm, and professional shop. No pressure and always willing to talk about the procedure and pain before hand.

P. C.Amazing, it has a lot of alternative clothes also a plethora of piercing options. The staff there are awesome, helpful and extremely kind. The only complaint I have is that they don't have certain things in store that are on site which is a bit of a kick in the guts, but other than that it's fantastic.

They are very knowledgeable and they gave me a cute little purse with after care advice, tea tree oil and rock salt to clean the piercing inside. I cant wait for my next piercing.

M. M.#The Blue Banana in Cardiff offers a brilliant service of various piercings. Pericings are done in a sterile environment and with sterile single use equipment. Everything you need to know before and after pericings is explained thoroughly and you are given an after care kit. staff were very professional, knowledgeable and friendly.
L. J.Paid over £5 yesterday for a new bar for my vertical labret piercing. It wasn't measured but the guy on the desk had a Look and said 8mm would fit.
Got it home and put it in. I was very disappointed to find its still 2mm at least too big.
I've now ordered a new 6mm bar on ebay and paid no where near £5 for it.

D. M.Amazing for piercings! I wouldn’t go anywhere else now. I had my rook pierced about a year ago in a place in Swansea and it never healed despite meticulous care. Last week it got pulled and rotated in my ear. I went into Blue banana where I was immediately seen and amazing piercer Alyssa (sorry about spelling) managed to remove it almost painlessly. On removing it the piercing actually snapped because the chap that did it used steel instead of titanium despite assuring me he only used the titanium, hence why it never healed. Don’t go anywhere but here for piercings. They know their stuff and they do it right! Thanks everyone who saw me and rushed me in!
