Absolutely brilliant!! Recently had a portrait of my dog done by the incredible David corden and it is as good as the photo people are amazed when they see how realistic it is. All the staff here are really friendly and go out of there way to make you relaxed and comfortable. Cannot recommend highly enough 👌 can't wait to go back.

I can't recommend Calum Cochrane enough. he told me he would do an even better job than the examples I showed him and he definitely did. they have started to heal up nicely now and love them. all the staff here were very friendly and the shop has a very comforting and professional atmosphere inside.

Centrally located in Edinburgh, and close to lots of shops and food. Claire did my tattoo, and was amazing in every aspect possible. She was very patient with the design, the timeline, and the commitment of a full day tattoo session. The environment inside is very calming, and inviting. Plenty of places to sit and review work before it starts, and to take short breaks. I wish I lived closer by, Claire Hamill would be my Go-To artist!!

The aesthetic of this place is so pleasing! They took covid precautions (e.g. taking your temperature, masks inside and hand sanitisers) which made me feel a lot safer. Dana is such an amazing artist! The tattoo came out better than I had envisioned. She also made me feel so comfortable. It was so great to get to know her as a person and felt comfortable to share my own story. Definitely choosing her to do my next tattoo.

Great Experience. Very talented and kind people. I have seen many good tattoo studios. This is certainly one of the best. Working on highest standards in terms of skills and materials (For example they use dermalize , like a second skin, for aftercare) Also they give great advice and make you feel very comfortable. I can highly recommend this place. My Tattoo was done by David Corden, who is a specialist in realistic tattoo. Pricing is on a higher level than average, but worth every penny. you get a timeless and beautiful piece of art in return.

He is a superb chap, who is able to balance conversational informality and solid customer service with genuine professionalism as a business owner, AND yet maintains artistic flair. He is totally passionate about his work and it shows. All this before he creates the most amazing tattoo on your body. Okay, I've got a few tattoos and most of them big. This is the first time I've been tattooed at semper by the lovely Claire Hamill. Everything start to finish has been amazing. My tattoo is incredible , it's better than I imagined! Claire is a wonderful human and is so talented. All staff are lovely and they are all adhering to the highest standard inline with covid infection control. I have nothing negative to say at all.

My wife, my sister and I stayed in Edinburgh just for three days. We tried to schedule an appointment in advance for three small tattoos. Unfortunately there were problems with the mail communication ... still not sure what happened, but the answer from the studio never arrived in our inbox. Anyway, the Semper Team managed to edge us in and gave us a very wholesome and professional experience. We absolutely love our new tattoos, done by Keira Kirkpatrick - what an amazing artist. We also loved the layout and interior of the shop. Cool place with an appealingly twisted classical style.
