I've used several different tattoo studios and artists in Edinburgh over the years but Paul at St Clairs is without a doubt the fastest, most reasonably priced and reliable. A genuinely nice bloke who is a master at his profession. I've now been to Paul for my last few pieces, the most recent a full sleeve that I honestly couldn't be more happy with, its incredible! I'm already looking for my next piece. If you live in or around the Edinburgh area then St Clairs Tattoo is the place to go! 5 STAR review from me for both the studio and the artist!

Paul's work is absolutely amazing! I always let him know my vision and he brings it to life even better than I could have hoped for! His shop is lovely and you can treat yourself to an ice cream after a good session. He makes you feel right at home and his music taste is pretty good too! I already recommend his shop to everyone! Great experience from start to finish. Popped in for an initial visit to discuss what i was looking for and had a quick chat with Paul. Quickly realised I would be in good hands and booked in. Great communication throughout as I had some elements I wanted to have in the piece. Paul was really engaged and welcoming of my ideas and between us we came up with something which I am over the moon with. The tattooing experience in the studio was great. Everyone was extremely welcoming, lots of good chat and the occasional song from Paul if a particular tune took his fancy! I highly recommend a visit! i know I'll be back!

St Clair's is a fun, relaxing environment. It has a talented selection of artists that cater for all tattoo styles. There are no egos in the shop. Paul Slifer quite simply is the man! With only a few ideas he can create a totally stunning original piece and always exceeds my expectations. Paul is very efficient and great value for money. He won't rip you off by unnecessarily stretching a tattoo out over a few sessions. I stay in the North East of Scotland and he is well worth the 6 hour round trip!

I have been going to see Paul for years over his previous location and now here at St Clair's more recently. He is a true gentleman and a talent of the highest calibre. Having sometimes brought ideas to his attention or let him run his own ideas from start to finish I have a ridiculous faith in him. I couldnt imagine ever going to see anyone else. The new shop is large bright and open plan. He and the other artists create a fun inviting atmosphere and if it was closer id happily pop round more often just to say hi. I could not recommend this place enough if its for your first ever tattoo or looking for someone new :)

Thought i should leave these guys a quick reveiw 😀. Had a fair few tattoos done at various places so a lot to compare with and this place is up there with the best. Everything from communication before hand right through to tattoo completion was excellent. Great atmosphere in the shop and they're all super friendly, a good laugh, talented and professional. The music is awesome too!! Bekkie done a great job on my first cover up and I'm back in a few days for a second one. Defo a place worth a visit for your next inkjng. I know I'll be recommending them. Hi anyone who is thinking of getting a tattoo, I just did and the whole experience was amazing from the moment I went through the door staff are very friendly Becky was the lady who did my first tattoo and I was so amazed with the result just love my Bee!! I highly recommend this place.

Every time I've visited St Clair's it has been an utterly beautiful experience. It's a lovely shop with loads of character and such wonderful artists who have some pretty fantastic chat! Highly reccomend considering St Clair's for your next tattoo!!

Went to st Clair’s today to get tattoo fixed on my foot and a name added on- got my shoulder one fixed and name added on too. Tattoos are great, great value for money would highly recommend and will defo be back in future for further tattoos.

After being told I couldn't have a cover up done on a tattoo and being told the only way was laser,I had 2 laser sessions(extremely painful) I then went to st Claire's for advice and was told there would be no problem at all ,went in today got most of it done ,Paul was very patient with me, would highly recommend
