I took my son to Creative Art tattoo today for his 1st tattoo. Absolutely fantastic service, and first class work! Very welcoming and relaxed atmosphere, and Frank made the whole visit a wonderful experience for my son. Very informative about tattoo aftercare and products available to buy in the studio. Came in for my first tattoo yesterday, My dad got the same tattoo as i got yesterday 13 years ago and he had such a wonderful experience and was such a fan of frank due to the professional manner that he got his tattoo that he referred me as i wanted the same family tattoo as my father. If I could give more than 5 stars then I would, Tarri has done several pieces for me including designing a piece really important to me and doing a beautiful job of it. Each time I've been in, both her and Frank have been fantastic at keeping the atmosphere light hearted and at ease. They also provide fantastic after care advice.

Coming from the US I had contacted the studio to see about getting a tattoo while I was in Scotland. Tarri was super easy to work with and created exactly what I was looking for. The studio was immaculate and inviting unlike studios in the US. Both artist at this studio do amazing work and I can’t wait to come back for another tattoo when I’m back in Scotland! Frank has done all but one of my tattoos which was my first one on holiday (so it doesn't count as a real tattoo) and I have almost 30 hours worth of work done. I wouldn't go anywhere else. You get a good chat and a good laugh which makes the sessions fly in and enjoyable. I have went in with rough ideas and I let Frank do what he does best and come up with his ideas and I trust his creative judgement. My sleeve isn't finished yet and I am already thinking of the next one and I'll definitely be going to Frank for it.

Amazing skill and incredible quality, ultra professional, and genuine artists! I went here for a first tattoo, with an idea of what I wanted but no clue how to put it together (half sleeve viking style). Hugely welcoming atmosphere and professional guidance and insight from Tarri Mcnab who chatted through some ideas with me and helped design a concept, swiftly got to grips with what I was aiming for and after a very short period had sent on a design. Then spent a full day session which was great fun, not an ounce of pain, cleaner than a surgery theatre, great chat and humour from Frank and Tarri, and the finished product was absolutely perfect from Tarri, just what I wanted and looked amazing! If you are looking for a tattoo, or have loads and want another, I cannot recommend these guys enough! Fantastic!

I've been going to Frank for years, had plenty of awesome custom work and lots of plans for more in the future. I go in with a general idea of what I'm wanting and leave him to it and I've never been disappointed with what I leave with, super creative and friendly. It's a great family-friendly atmosphere and I always recommend Creative Art to anyone who is interested in getting personalised and creative work done. It's a small family in there but they're amazing tattooers, and will make everyone feel welcome and comfortable. I had used two other studios for tattoos before Creative Art and my first time to CA was very welcoming and I found it spacious and hygienic. I had arranged for a free consultation with Tarri to discuss my idea then she kept in touch with the design drafts and forwarded the final design showing her artwork. It felt like a team effort. I recently returned to the studio and this time put my idea in a rough sketch. Tarri took it on board and again kept me involved, making a change to her draft at my request then producing the final design which was bang on. Team effort again. At both times for the tattoo work it was a relaxed and friendly atmosphere with no waiting and Frank and Tarri being organised for their clients. Both times were lengthy because of the size and detail of the tattoos, but there were regular breaks and plenty of coffee/tea available if I wanted. From start to finish, I think the quality of the tattoos and attention given to their work is quite simply superb and exactly what I was looking for. If you've got an idea for a tattoo contact them – look at their work on their website and am sure Frank and Tarri will talk you through your idea to the design stage. I have no hesitation in recommending Frank and Tarri for your tattoo and I reckon if either session had been my first tattoo, I got the feeling I would have felt in good hands. All the best. Ian

Had a bad tattoo job done down south a few years back, and after all the polite tiptoeing of other people, Frank was, well, refreshingly frank! He and Tarri made me feel comfortable and told me what was what, and after a weeks wait and an hour in the studio, he transformed my ink into what I originally imagined. Highly recommended!

Frank is the only person who has ever tattoo’d me and i’d never go anywhere else.
