Back 10+ years ago I had various piercings at Nirvana and returned this weekend for my first in a long time and I was really nervous. Pleased to say it's still an excellent place and extremely clean, and also felt very Covid safe. Kim did an amazing job at making me feel comfortable and distracting me with anecdotes, and I had as painless an experience as is possible when getting a needle in your ear. I wouldn't go elsewhere and plan to be back soon.

Had a nipple piercing done here very recently. The whole process from booking, right through to the piercing was incredibly straightforward. Throughout I found the process friendly and helpful. The studio is spotlessly clean, and the professionalism of the piercers is clear to see. Have had piercings done in other places over the years, but now I'm only going here

I was absolutely terrified to get my ears pierced. I'm 28 and have wanted them done for so long but im prone to fainting. Kim was unbelievable, she was so kind and understanding right foe the first message I sent. We booked a longer appointment and my safety was her number one concern. I got my piercings lying down. She had a fan on and I took an ice pack with me. I still fainted but I felt so safe, the staff should be commended for their attitudes towards client safety and comfort. 4 weeks later I went back and bossed my helix and conch! No fainting! Just literally tears of joy. I cannot recommend Kim enough if you are anxious about having a piercing. She has great chat to keep you occupied but she also is really caring and just has a brilliant nature if you're nervous. I'm working towards my drram ear and will never go anywhere else.

This is th only place I trust to get my piercings done in Glasgow, I came here 12 years ago for my very first piercing and it was a great experience, I have had piercings done else where but always had a issue with them and had to return to nirvana for their help . I will not be going anywhere else . Kim is so lovely and makes you fell at ease. I went in today for a septum piercing and holy baloney did it come out good!!! It's perfectly straight and was pretty much painless after the needle went through. It was definitely pierced right through the sweet spot and my piercer (Laura) was so friendly and helpful throughout the whole process! The pack of equipment was opened up in front of me so I knew that the needle was brand new and the shop was the cleanest place I had ever seen, and looked amazing inside with all types of jewellery on display. Plus there was awesome music. Right down I am in no pain at all which is surprising as I got pierced 6 hours ago. Laura walked me through the cleaning process in detail and at my request showed me how to flip my piercing up to hide it! The receptionist was so polite and friendly while I filled out my form, I genuinely think this place has the nicest staff of ANY place I have ever been in, piercing or not. I am so hyped to go back to get another piercing soon and to learn how to change my piercing too!! I 100% recommend this place. It is a hygienic and friendly atmosphere and the piercers will make you feel relaxed and will tell you what you need to know.

Had my septum done by Kim yesterday, my first piercing in over a decade so I was a wee bit anxious but she explained every step of the process clearly so I knew exactly what to expect and what to do. The piercing itself was painless and super quick with minimum discomfort. Everything was very clean and tools all sterile. Staff were all lovely and friendly too. I got most of my piercings as a teen at Nirvana and now in my 30s I'm glad they still have the same excellent standards of cleanliness, friendliness and care for what they do. Kim went over the aftercare with me and made sure I had contact details in case of any questions or issues.

I was in here last week with my friend. Whether you are a nervous first timer or an old hand the staff are great. John did our piercings and he is chatty and a lot of fun. As well as a wide selection of jewellery, they will also advise on placement and are very clear on explaining after care. Definitely book in advance rather than relying on a walk-in visit. They are also very helpful over Facebook messenger if you have questions.

They were brilliant. Initially went to have my ears pierced but when I mentioned they were healed over piercings they reopened them free of charge and only charged for the studs. Also fit me in without an appointment and were lovely and chatty.

I used to love this place! I still think its great but since Laura left its not as good. I asked the new staff member to measure my belly bar so i could buy a new one, and she estimated it, and it then turned out to be much smaller than my original piercing. I came back and mentioned that to her, and she insisted it was fine, and put it in for me. I thought I’d give it a shot, but not even a week later its swollen and pus is coming out, even though its been done 10 months and this has never happened before, it healed extremely well prior to this. Also, i was charged two pounds for a jewellery change? I wasnt told this until after she changed it, and Laura never charged me. Not happy! Still, it is a very clean environment and has a good choice of jewellery. Not sure if John and Christina are still there but they were fantastic and so kind!

As a father of a 15 year old girl getting her nose pierced I was apprehensive to say the least. Everyone at Nirvana was perfect and is now literally the standard by which piercing studios are measured by for any future piercing by me & my daughter. The bar has been set very high.

Had my septum piercing done at Nirvana on 11th May by Kim. Popped inside first thing in the morning and they had a spot later that afternoon. Arrived back at my scheduled time, they were a little behind due to another customer turning up late. They did however apologies for the delay and I was offered a tea or coffee whilst I was waiting. When I was brought in by Kim to have the piercing done she was extremely polite, professional and thorough. Ensuring I knew exactly what was going to happen and when, she walked through the entire process clearly and made sure to answer any questions I did have. The piercing itself was smooth and painless, could not recommend Nirvana enough. I will certainly be advising anyone considering piercings to pay them a visit in the future.

Got my tragus pierced and my navel re-pieced with Laura a couple of weeks ago. I'll admit, it was the first time I had someone pierce apart of my ear with a needle. When I was younger I went to places that used guns for most things, including my nose, I was none the wiser. So needless to say (no pun intended) I was a little nervous. I had laura and she was super nice and very knowledgeable about everything. She put me at complete ease. She did my navel first which I thought had closed up, but as it turns out, it had just shrunk. She had to reopen it gradually, which sounds painful, but she was so careful I hardly felt a thing. Next she did my tragus, and it was quick and painless. Afterwards she talked to me about how to care for my piercings, and honestly I had definitely been caring for previous piercings the wrong way before. I have always had sensitive skin but my tragus was not red or inflamed in the slightest, and my navel only a little bit as it had to be reopened gradually with different sized needles. Within an hour of leaving nirvana I was already wanting to go back for another piercing! Thank you to Laura and the staff who were just so very nice and welcoming to me and everyone who came into the shop while I waited. And and previous reviewers have mentioned, nirvana is super clean and Laura was extremely careful about everything being sanitized when doing the piercings. Next time I am in Glasgow I am definitely coming back, I just need to work out what I'm going to get done!
