I visited Shaun a couple of months back to get his advice on a tattoo to incorporate the design from my late Grans broach. His advice was spot on and on Thursday of this week I had my appointment. As well as having the broach tattooed on my inner wrist, he has also done a superb piece on my lower back which incorporates a small tattoo I had done years ago. Both are breathtaking, they are deeply personal and unique and I love them. I cannot recommended Critical Ink highly enough-caring, professional and ultimately…..so so talented.

I have known and used Shaun for over 10 years for my black and grey realism pieces and couldn’t recommend him enough!! He has done my arm, chest and shoulder and has brought it all together fantastically. Shaun’s tattooed me since 2016. Had 2 sleeves plus body pieces, even used his skills to cover up a bad tattoo I had done elsewhere. I’ve recommended him to friends who also use Shaun now for their on going pieces. Highly recommend! Good facilities, very clean, good with appointments and generally a sound lad. I've been visiting Critical Ink for the last few years. Shaun is an amazing artist, I have had 2 star wars themed sleeves completed (his portrait work is phenominal) and he is in the process of reworking and adding to an existing back piece. Shaun did me a full sleeve tattoo cover up over some awful tattoos from a previous tattooist, it left me uncomfortable wearing a T-shirt and now Shaun’s done some amazing work over the top of it, I can confidently wear a T-shirt 😂 I can’t thank him enough. 💙 he’s done some class work on other friends who’s been to see him, he’s professional and approachable on anything you want doing. Shaun has been my go to tattooists for a few years now. He was able to sort out an old tattoo and have transformed it into an amazing piece! He was able to support my full leg and arm sleeve by recommending multiple designs and adding unique touches which has made look amazing! Critical ink is a great tattoo parlour. Sean really knows his stuff. I went in with my top arm already tattooed and wanted a sleeve. He’s since started the rest for me and I couldn’t be happier with it. If your in my position your best to leave it in Sean’s hands as he will always come up with a great design for you and give you many options. Currently booked in twice to get my arm completed and can’t wait. 5 stars from me and he’s decently priced aswell. Couldn’t recommend more.

Critical Ink is a fantastic tattoo parlour and Shawn is a fantastic tattooist. I’d definitely recommend using his services if you’re thinking of getting some new ink! I had a sleeve started a few years ago with someone else but never got round to finishing it, after talking through the initial ideas I’d had with Shawn he instantly understood what needed to be done to finish my sleeve. Really happy with the result!
