I went to get my nose re-pierced and the ring changed in my septum. The guy who sorted everything was super welcoming, explained everything he was doing in detail and had a very calming attitude. Priced are good, the wait was a little long but it’s a small studio and it was worth it.

i went here to get pierced and will definitely come back again. as a young woman i was quite apprehensive about having this piercing done, especially with a male piercer, as i was scared it would be uncomfortable due to the intimate nature of the piercing. however, the piercer was really professional and i felt completely at ease, and didn’t feel uncomfortable or awkward at all. the piercing placements are perfect, pricing was really good and the piercer was lovely to talk to. definitely recommend! thanks

Got a helix done here before the pandemic, best piercing experience I've ever had both on the day and for healing. Returned this week for 2 more. Very short wait and such a lovely atmosphere. Jay is a star, couldn't ask for a more friendly, professional or hygienic session. He definitely knows his stuff. Very happy customer, this is now my regular studio!

Had my first piercing here on Tuesday and had a great experience. The piercer was knowledgable and explained what he was doing as he was piercing - at no point did I feel like I wasn’t in good hands. The whole room was sanitised thoroughly ensuring it was hygienic beforehand. The prices are fantastic, and there’s a 10% discount for students too. Would come here again if I were to get another piercing.

This place is walk in (yay) and cash only. Originally went in to get my septum pierced, but when the owner checked out my nose he was very honest and said I wasn't suitable for that kind of piercing. He was so professional and polite about it, and was also apologetic. I really appreciated how he was honest saying that if he did pierce me, it wouldn't look that great/how I wanted it. I ended up getting my nostril done instead and it was so fast! He made a point of telling me exactly what he was doing, and made me feel comfortable and relaxed. If you're nervous about getting pierced, definitely go here it's a great environment!

OMG honestly where do I start. I'm so happy I wondered upon this place on Google because I won't be going to my old pericing shop. The guy who pierced me was called Lee he was fantastic let me know about past percings that hadnt healed even though he hadn't done them helped me knowing how I can help them. Recommded loads of stuff to help heal them better. Suggested what pericing id suit and honestly told me I wouldn't suit the original one I wanted. And suggests the one I now have it is lovely he was great the whole process kept me calm let me have a swear lol. Can’t rate This place high enough. I had been to another bold street establishment that shall remain nameless and been pierced incorrectly, and not even the right area of a rather personal area! This led me to become depressed and feel like I wouldn’t be able to trust anyone to pierce me again. Fast forward 2 years and after hearing great reviews about stigmata I plucked up the courage to get some more piercings. I was nervous but Lee instantly put me at ease. The place is immaculate and he was clear about what he was going to do. He made recommendations, and I instantly felt that unlike last time I was in the presence of someone with loads of experience. The piercings were quick and easy and I’m so happy with the result that as soon as I’m healed I’m back for the next lot! Thank you so much to Stigmata and to the lovely Lee in particular. Would highly recommend this place. And it goes to show, always do your homework on whether the place knows what they’re doing! These guys do x

Got my Daith Pierced today 10/07/2019 by Lee and I experienced exceptional service. He was so attentive and such a warm and welcoming personality. I visited recently for a forward helix piercing. Staff are all very pleasant, knowledgeable and reassuring, the environment is hygienic and professional and the piercing was quick and clean. Aftercare is wonderful, the ball fell off my stud about a week after and they were happy to fit a new one at no extra cost. Overall I'm really happy with my piercing and experience, I'll definitely be back here for more!

A few months back I came in to get my nipples pierced. The piercer was incredibly knowledgeable, professional and gentle. The shop is very clean and I would reccomend coming here for any piercing so much so that I went back today to have my nostrils pierced and will be going back as soon as these piercings heal to have the bridge of my nose pierced. My mum, sister and I all came in for new piercings as I has been here many times before. This time there was a new piercer, Lee, who was absolutely amazing! Amazing piercing studio! I come here for all of my piercings as I trust them all and have a great experience every time. I got my labret pierced on Tuesday and I was a little nervous but the piercer (I’m sorry I didn’t get your name) calmed my nerves completely! Piercing was over in a second and felt minimal pain. Love my piercing it’s perfectly positioned and was done to the highest standard I could ask for. They give you a leaflet for cleaning information suitable for which piercing you get and told me if I needed any info or help with the healing I could give them a ring. Today me and my friend both went to get some piercings. I wanted my nipples re done after the botched job I had had 2 years ago from a different studio. Lee was so polite and talked me thought what he was going to do. He was completely professional & appropriate when marking me up. Very good energy and very talkative, easy to talk to!. The loveliest most professional guy I could’ve asked for. Got my nose pierced very quick and as painless as possible but me being me quickly went faint and nauseous after which he assured me was normal. After having two botched belly button piercing jobs, the piercer at Stigmata sorted me out when my belly button rejected my piercing. He also gave me some great advice, mainly that I shouldn’t have had the piercing done in the first place and the original piercer was very irresponsible in piercing me! He was really patient throughout the whole procedure which involved having to repierce to get the jewellery out (despite me bursting into tears!) but went as quick as he could and I honestly couldn’t have asked for a better experience. Got my nose re pierced today with a hoop instead of a stud and absolutely made up, in the symmetrical location with my opposite side stud and the staff were so lovely and made me feel very comfortable. Highly recommend as sore as my poor nose is (unfortunately they can’t take the pain away but it’s only seconds!!!) choose your piercer well don’t risk rookies - go to sigamata also REALLY good prices in my opinion for such a nice studio in the city centre! Well i am terrified of things like this but i liked these guys when i spoke to them on the phone. They were just as nice in person. I jumped a mile when i had my daith pierced and made Ian jump a mile too but he kept me calm and did a lovely job. I popped into stigmata today around 2pm just to see if they could change my nose ring as I’d been putting it off for 11 months cos I’m the ultimate anxious procrastinator. When I arrived the piercer was with another client and there were two other young people waiting to be seen. Now as a pre-op, pre-hormone trans woman I’m not one to play into stereotypes but for the sake of reading being fundamental let’s just say Entitled Tumblr Royalty was the vibe of the two people waiting before me. Just as I was arriving they had already insulted the piercer by asking him “How clean he was”. After politely and professionally replying to them he asked me what I was looking for, I told him and he asked me to wait a few moments which I was more than happy to do because it’s 2pm on a Tuesday and I’m not working today so what else would I be doing really? As his pleased client was leaving, obviously very happy with her piercing and receiving great aftercare tips, the two young people who were waiting before me decided to further insult the piercer and ask him, ‘Are you licensed?’ Im not gonna lie I was not shocked but GAGGED. The piercer responded that he was and you could research that online through the NHS (I believer that’s verbatim Cos I’m a terrible eavesdropper but I was sliding into someone DMs on Instagram at the time). The piercer then calmly and professionally asked the two young people to leave, refusing their service despite the financial loss. They left quickly. Had I been in his shoes I would have raised my voice and probably swore, he did neither of those things. The piecer then in less that 60 seconds changed my nose ring. There was 0 pain and if I ever need someone to remove and replace a ring from my runny nose again then I would 100% go to this piercer again. Because I’m super self-involved I didn’t get his name but he’s great, 10/10 recommend. Disclaimer - I do not know the piercer personally or work for Stigmata. I’m just a full time crank with a lot of experience in customer service. If you too are an entitled teen then I think Claire’s do student discount but good luck with the post-piercing cheap, wonkyness and potential infection. Ciao, adiós im done ✌🏻 x

The only place I would consider getting a piercing. Yas is a fantastic piercing artist. She is friendly, very knowledgeable, and super-precise when doing each piercing. I’ve had a labret and septum piercing done by her, and both are in a good position with minimal pain. Highly recommended, and I will no doubt be going back for more in the future.
