The team at Camden Locks are so friendly and helpful. I had my dimples pierced here in December last year but had to take them out for dental work and the holes closed! Marlene was amazing; she made time for me right then and there and was reassuring. Can’t recommend enough

I received a tattoo from Maria. Two of my friends had been tattooed by her so I wanted to get one too! It was my first tattoo so I was a little nervous but she made me feel so comfortable and the vibe of the shop is just relaxing. We chatted the whole time and there was music in the background. Defo recommend!!

Such a nice place!! We came as a group of 5 friends to get two tattoos each over the week end. Maria is such a sweetheart and her work is absolutely stunning!! She took her time designing our tattoos and making sure our opinions were heard. We loved it so much that as soon as we got our tattoos we were already thinking about our next ones. If you want to get a tattoo come here, the staff is very friendly and they are very professional and hard working.

I've been going to Camden Locks for 2 years now - from first consultation, where I was told I needed to grow my hair an additional 2 inches; to my first session creating my baby locks; and 2 interlocking sessions since. I love my locks, you guys have done a great job - now shoulder length. I only need to visit once a year now, as have learnt with the shops' help how to keep my hair in shape. I really love this shop, always a great chat to be had, they're really skilled at their trade, and the output is always fantastic!

Got both my nose and belly piercing done here and the experience couldn't have been better ! The piercings themselves were such reasonable prices, they had a beautiful selection of jewellery and my piercer was so lovely and finished both piercings within 15 minutes. 100% recommend if you're thinking in the area and want piercings.

I've had 3 trips here the first back in September 2020 to have half of my hair in dreads the other 2 times for maintainence in Dec 2020 and yesterday. My partner got his first tattoo in the studio downstairs today - the guy was straight to the point, offered aftercare instructions and provided a very comfortable first-experience for my partner. We'd been walking down Camden High St for about an hour and every tattooist we spoke to "um'd and ar'd" about how much the tiny tattoo would cost before quoting upwards of £80!!! This studio offered their services for £40 without any hassle and we were in and out within 30 minutes of being there. Hats off to this guy and his team!

Excellent, excellent, excellent!! Marlene, Hani, and Co are the best! I have had a long journey with Marlene and Hani. We first started our journey together in Jan 2013 and my hair was "in dire straits" as you can see from the photos (it's obvious which is the before and after) but with a lot of hard work and perseverance from Marlene, and hope and listening to her aftercare instructions from me, I am back to being proud of my natural locks, and relish in the compliments I continue to receive from strangers. I got my nose pierced and it was great experience I highly recommend! I got some great advice on piercings and also some help on a botched piercing I got in the past. The price is pretty good and it was all done in a professional and clean environment. The lady who pierced my ear was just so lovely and was nice and chatty. 10/10.

Have been coming here for years for hair cuts/ colour Marlene knows how to work with all types of hair which is great and is always looking out for my hairs best interest! I always get great results and leave looking and feeling good. I was really dubious about getting colour done in my hair for fear of damage but Marlene has used good quality protecting products and my hair is in good condition.

Amazing! Highly recommend. I had my dreadlocks originally done elsewhere and they were never right until I went to Camden Locks and Marlene and Honey somehow tidied up the mess and now I only have to go back once every 8 months for a small tidy. I wouldn’t ever go anywhere else to get locks done or tidied. Lovely people too

Most definitely the best place to get your haircut, piercing or tattoo done! The people who work in the shop are very professional, friendly and always make sure that customers are comfortable - just like when I got my first piercing done - one of the girls had to hold my hand the whole time. Such a sweetheart, she also gave me water and put me in a comfortable chair to make sure I was feeling ok. Lovely people, great work and whenever I go I always get exactly what I want.
