Friendly staff, welcoming atmosphere, and beautiful artwork! I came in with an idea and they were quick to refer me to the right artist, Breno, who was dedicated to the finest of details and ultimately to making my tattoo turn out as good as possible. Despite my idea not being in his usual art style, the complexity of its shape required freehand tattooing, which he is particularly good at, and I’m so grateful he felt up to the task! In just a few hours, he was able to transform my basic drawing into the tattoo I’ve been dreaming about getting since I was a kid, and I couldn’t be happier : ) Additionally, I noted the other artists tattooing other customers nearby during my session were just as devoted to their craft, and were similarly friendly, outgoing, and dedicated to making their clients feel comfortable and happy. It’s a great place, and I’ll likely be back in the future. Would recommend to anyone, whether it’s your first or your fiftieth tattoo!

I highly recommend Jasmine!! She is a fab piercer. She made sure many times that my belly piercing was in the correct place and she was very thorough with the aftercare details. The place was also super clean which is what you want especially when getting a belly piercing done!

I had a great experience here! Jass did my septum piercing which I love! She made me feel relaxed during the piercing which was quick and relatively pain free. She also communicated lots with me before and after the piercing, answering all my questions, which I really appreciated. The staff that I saw were very kind and welcoming. The store itself is beautiful, cosy and clean. I would definitely recommend getting a piercing here!

I was hesitatant at first after being rejected by many tattoo artists on Instagram. I was finally recommended to see a guy named Breno, he can do any style tattoos but his expertise comes into Japanese styled tattoos. He made me feel really relaxed, the consultation was professional and most importantly I didn't feel ashamed to seek a cover up. The place is tucked in but very local to Greenwich train station. 5 minutes walk tops. I highly recommend going here for tattoos, piercings and just general advice. The bunch of people working here are passionate, chill and understanding! I will attach a picture of my cover up he did for me, I will update the finished result in 5 months time.

Great experience overall. Super professional, friendly and fun. Good quality tat by the lovely Breno. You'll feel safe in all respects here, they are on pointe. Loved the music and space also. Only lost a star from me since I was not told about the £100 minimum charge upon booking. I feel this could've been mentioned both via Email and on the phone from the outset as I only wanted a tiny one. That said, you get what you pay for and it's good quality all round at this venue.

I recently had a tattoo with Karl, the end result is amazing! From start to finish the experience of booking, attending and having the tattoo was brilliant! Erin was great at helping with appointment arranging and completing all the new checks etc. Karl was great as well, such a professional and friendly bloke! Made the whole experience top notch. Absolutely amazing tattoo shop. A few weeks ago I had my tattoo done by Mel, who was incredibly patient and made me feel welcome and comfortable throughout the process. My tattoo has now healed perfectly and was exactly what I wanted. I will definitely be going back for my next piece. I'd give more stars if it was possible. Such a great team behind Gilt Moth, really caring and 'friendly' just doesn't do it justice. Every member is more than friendly and very quickly built up strong relationships. They were always happy to help out and work along side me. I would highly recommend Gilt Moth if you're looking for your first tattoo or your hundredth. I worked with David who is such a fantastic skilled artist, he hand drew my full sleeve and in six weeks I had exactly what I wanted. The artwork between all members was amazing to see, between the team they can cover most if not all styles. The reception here is great and always supportive. A really relaxing setting, the shop itself is comfy and cosy with everything you'd need. Very hygienic in all areas of the shop. I seriously could not recommend anywhere else. They also have great merch that is worth checking out. Thank you all for your time and patience.

Got a beautiful piece done by the extremely talented Mon, and although price is the last thing you should worry about with a permanent artwork, the price was really reasonable too! Great little gem in Greenwich - visited for a tattoo fix and ended up getting another tattoo on the spot. The staff are very friendly and helpful, the joint is super clean and the prices reflect the standard of work. Plus you get a tube of like £4 Bepanthen for free. Thank you guys (Mons) my tattoos are healing up nicely and no doubt I will be back soon!

Such a great place, really clean and the staff is really lovely (and funny). Zeph Green did my tattoo, a small one just above the elbow and he was super meticulous with the placement of it (made my perfectionist brain very happy) and did wonderful fine lines - so happy with it!
