I came here for my first tattoos as well as majority of my piercings and I can tell you everyone here is absolutely amazing!!! Very friendly atmosphere, they'll definitely look after you before, during and after. Astonishing service! I won’t be going anywhere else. Never have I felt so confident. I have been a customer since King of Hearts opened a decade ago. I recommend it highly. Especially if you getting your first tattoo. Liz makes you feel very welcome. Eric, the owner, has huge experience and patiently guide you through all aspects of the process. He makes sure the other tattooist take the same approach. Just yesterday a partner and I got piercings with Sean who got the job done very fast and efficiently. Five stars all round. 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟

Had a few extra earlobes pierced a few months ago and a check up today with shorter bars put in. Such a pleasure to attend , everyone is always so friendly and helpful. Great care is taken at every appointment. Also, very pleased to see that covid-measures have been kept in place. I'll definitely be back in autumn for more piercings, a much needed Bristol-accent fix and maybe I'll actually finally consider braving a first tattoo. Thank you!

Had my first tattoo at the King of Hearts. As someone completely unexperienced, I found the whole experience very welcoming. Everyone I met there was approachable, and to be honest, I wanted to have a pint with them all. The studio seemed very clean an appeared well equipped. The conversation during the tattoo was enjoyable and ranged from why not to listen to fast music while tattooing, (the playlist of the session was 80s) - to the 2017 remake of IT. I was very happy with the tattoo - a version of the Jurassic Park logo (thank you Daniel) and the aftercare advice (and product) were of very good quality. I will be returning soon.

I got a small wrist tattoo with @erictheviking last week. He designed it on the spot, asking for my input along the way, making sure the final design was what I was after. I enjoyed watching his process and love my tattoo. The studio was super clean and I felt really welcome as soon as I walked through the door.

I have now had quite a bit of work done here and I now can't see myself going anywhere else. The whole team are fantastic. From Shaun and Liz at the front of house to all their amazing artists. Eric has done a large chest piece for me and is currently doing my sleeve and it is without a doubt the best tattooing experience I've had. Not only is the studio immaculate but its very comfortable and a perfect environment to get tattooed in whether its your first or 50th tattoo.

Went in for 2 piercings today. The two staff I was seen to by were welcoming and spoke to me as a friend rather than a customer, which was lovely and helped me feel comfortable with my piercing. The two piercings themselves were done excellently. The first piercing was on my lobe and was painless, my ear was measured by the piercer to find the best place to put the piercing. The second on my cartilage, the piercer took time to place it on my ear, advising me, the piercing was a little more painful due to the place of it but now (4 hours later) I'm in no pain. Brilliant experience and I'll be back Went in again- now 2021 to have my first tattoo. I love the tattoo and the whole experience was enjoyable. Dexter did a perfect job& had a great playlist in the background.

This is one the best piercing/tattoo shops in London. Everyone who works there is lovely and will make you feel comfortable as soon as you walk through the door. There's no egos like the usual tattoo shops you find in London. I have had a few piercings done here and everyone who works there have always been very helpful and professional. The place is pristine and they have a good selection of jewelry which the owner has a great knowledge of. I would definitely recommend coming here for piercings. I haven't had a tattoo done here yet, but am definitely considering it.

I have been tattooed by Eric the viking at King of Hearts a few times. Always a great experience, staff are super friendly and lovely. Good chat&ready with a cuppa. Eric was really helpful and does a fantastic job each time, really happy with all the work he has done - a beautiful butterfly on my shoulder and cherry blossoms on my wrist. Definitely recommend the studio.

Attended today to get my tongue web pierced, the experience was amazing. The team are very friendly and enthusiastic, the main counter and clinical room was immaculately clean. Was offered tea and coffee on arrival, my friend accompanied me to have a look at a possible tattoo in the future and the team couldn’t have been more friendly, giving plenty of advice and relaxed. I’ve had quite a few piercings from Sean, and he always does an amazing job at not only making me feel extremely comfortable and relaxed but he also listens to what I want. I recently got two more helix piercings to add to the previous two that he had done for me, and he actually measured the distance between them all to make sure they looked just the way I wanted them to which is so thoughtful. I now have two tattoos from Daniel Cook at the studio and besides the fact that they look absolutely beautiful, the whole experience was beyond wonderful! He spent so much time making sure the design was perfect for me and was so patient throughout it all. The place was the cleanest and friendliest tattoo shop I'd ever been in too (and I've been to more than a handful). Extremely lively staff, that artists are amazing, the shop it self is insanely clean. Take what you think about the stereotypical tattoo parlor that's dark and dingy with neon signs and through it out the window! Even with the higher prices and longer waiting lists I highly recommend the place. It's best to have the best quality tattoo if it's with you forever rather than a worse one that you'll regret

I got a little fish by Daniel. Daniel was really kind and professional. He washed with hand sanitiser every time he touched other stuffs, before he start his work. The store was cosy and clean. All staffs were super kind and friendly. I will definitely get tattoo again in King of Hears.

Several tattooists, if you want the work of a particular operator, it may involve a wait. But they're always clear and able to keep theyppointments. The staff were so welcoming and friendly and the whole place is so clean and professional. Not only that, they were extremely helpful in their advice and clearly knew what they were doing. Reasons you need to visit 1) their shop and workstations are beautifully CLEAN. Honestly have a look. These guys really take pride in their shop. 2) the guys who work here are FRIENDLY and they actually care about you walking out happy rather than the silly ego bullcrap a lot of London shops engage in. 3) they're QUALITY. They employ some of the best tattoo artists and Sean, the piercer is top notch. 4) Liz makes a cracking CUPPA TEA. Yep, you read that right, pop by n you'll more than likely be treated to one of this glorious lady's brews. Plus her knowledge n banter are both legendary for a reason. 5) They're still relatively undiscovered - as in there's NO MASSIVE WAITING LISTS and it's gotta be said they're really REASONABLE RATES I'm a huge fan. But forget all that, get yourself to New Cross n have a look for yourself. Tell Liz I sent ya n who knows, she might even have the kettle on!

Dropped in to check out some Anatometal jewellery and walked out with a new forward helix piercing. Super friendly owners, very smooth and comfortable piercing.
